Every truth comes with a price.

He thought he buried the past.
But the past was only waiting to be unearthed.

FBI Special Agent Jake Johnson has seen his share of staged crime scenes, but nothing prepares him for the nightmare left behind by a killer who calls himself The Hollow Man. Victims posed like broken marionettes, lips sewn shut, words carved into flesh. Each tableau is not just a murder, it is a message.

For Jake, the horror cuts deeper. Years ago, his wife was murdered, and the scars never healed. Now, every crime scene feels like a taunt, every clue a reminder that the line between his past and the present is vanishing.

As the body count rises, Jake finds himself trapped in a deadly performance where every clue is a script written to lure him deeper. But the greatest danger is not on the streets of New York, it is inside the Bureau itself. Someone is leaking their moves. Someone Jake trusts is lying.

To stop a killer who always seems one step ahead, Jake must confront the lies in his own life and the truth he has spent years running from. Because The Hollow Man is not just hunting victims. He is hunting Jake.

“Remember Me” by Jeremy Bivins is a gripping psychological thriller that goes far beyond the typical serial-killer chase. The story follows FBI Special Agent Jake Johnson, who is drawn into a chilling investigation when a murderer begins staging elaborate crime scenes — each one serving as a message. What begins as a hunt for a dangerous predator soon unravels into something far more personal and disturbing: a layered conspiracy aimed directly at Jake himself.

Bivins’s language is intricate and vivid, giving every scene an almost cinematic quality. His prose doesn’t rush; instead, it lingers on each detail — the sounds, the shadows, the flickers of fear and doubt — allowing readers to sink deeply into the world he creates. Every emotion feels raw and visible, every discovery measured and deliberate.

This is not an action-driven story, but a deep psychological thriller that unfolds in slow, deliberate layers. The tension grows with each revelation, exposing not only the mind of the killer but also the vulnerabilities and buried past of the protagonist. By the end, “Remember Me” proves itself to be an intelligent, immersive thriller that rewards patient readers with a darkly satisfying payoff.

Remember Me kept me hooked from the very first page. The suspense was perfectly balanced with emotional depth, and I found myself fully invested in the character’s journey. The pacing makes it nearly impossible to put down, and the twists were both shocking and satisfying. It’s the kind of thriller that lingers in your mind long after you finish. If you’re looking for something gripping to binge, this is it!
