I received a free copy from the author and voluntarily reviewed it.

I read the first two books in this series and was curious about this one which follows a different main character, but is set in the same world. Book Store Witch follows the point of view of book store owner Tess. One day Florencia stops by her bookstore, she isn't a reader, but decides to pick up a book her friend recommended her. The two grow closer as Florencia keeps returning to the book store and Tess gets her hooked on reading.

This was such a cute and fun read. I liked reading about Tess and Florencia, their dynamic was fun and I especially liked reading about them discussing books. The books mentioned are all made up, but the conversations all felt real and relatable. It was just so fun to hear them discuss these books and it even made me curious about some of these stories even though I know they were made up. The book store was a fun setting and I liked seeing Florencia slowly grow fond of reading and find out why it can be so fun.

I liked these two together and their romance was very cute. Their conversations about books brought them closer and I also liked seeing their familiars and them talk about their jobs and some other topics. I would've liked a bit more of their romance especially toward the end, but that's because I like seeing a bit more once the couple admits their feelings.

There also was a fun cameo appearance of the coffee shop were Cassie from the main books works, so that was a fun addition. This book didn't go into too much details about the witchy stuff, but there were some mentions of magic, the deities and familiars which still added that witchy touch.

To summarize: This was such a fun read. Tess and Florencia meet once the latter visits Tess' book store. I liked seeing Florencia slowly turn into a reader thanks to Tess' recommendations and their conversations about books were so fun. While the books they discuss are made up, the type of conversations felt real and relatable. I liked seeing these two grow closer and thought they were cute together, I wouldn't have minded a bit more of their romance after they admit their feelings, but the epilogue was a nice touch. It also has some witchy vibes as both characters are witches and there are some mentions of magics, deities and familiars. All in all this one was really fun to read and I look forward to more books in the series.

A cozy sapphic romance fantasy to sooth your woes?
This is what I lovingly refer to as an afternoon delight.
Less than 100 pages and perfect for a quick afternoon read. ✨

One of my favorite things is a book about books. They just make me insanely happy, knowing that the characters we love to read about, love to read as much as we do. Not to mention, this was just a fun read. There wasn't much tension, nor was there a big to do with a third scene break up and I found that refreshing.

I look forward to reading more from this author!

This is a super short standalone novella in the Cobblestone Coven series. Cozy fantasy sapphic romance. Witches, familiars and books was a cute combination with a couple of laughs.

I was looking for a sweet, healthy easy read and this fit the bill perfectly - plus it’s a book about books which is one of my favorite themes! Sapphic to boot! Cute storyline, short and fairly one dimensional characters, in need of some minor editing. I enjoyed and will be back for more!

Synopsis: Tess, witch owner of an inherited bookshop, meets Florencia reluctantly giving reading another try as a hobby. Tess advises her on some titles and hits gold - and finds a new love interest.

A sweet companion story set in the "Cobblestone Coven" universe that highlights the beauty of books and the joy of spending time with fellow readers.

Tess owns Cobblestone's local bookstore, and she takes her job of getting books into readers hands quite seriously. When reluctant reader Florencia enters her shop, Tess will stop at nothing to turn her into an avid book lover.

This one was so cute! Books obviously pair well with coffee, so this was such a great addition to the "Coffee House Witch" vibes. The bookstore was so cozy, and it really reads as a love letter to books and our fellow readers.

Tess and Florencia have a very sweet romance. There is literally no other plot than these two interacting with one another, so it made it super simple to follow their relationship. Seeing Tess help Florencia gain a love of reading was so wholesome and sweet; it would be hard not to enjoy this story as a reader.

I wasn't expecting the spice in this one. The first few books in this series are spice free as it is a huge slow burn romance, but this story follows different characters. I really probably should have seen the spicy scenes coming, but for some reason, it still caught me off guard. They were sweet too though, so it definitely didn't feel out of place.

I absolutely adore Bella and Bruno! A snobby fox and a dorky raven make for quite the pair of familiars. I am particularly partial to Bella the fox, as she is very picky about what she eats and isn't afraid to speak her mind. She made me smile, and therefore, brighten my day.

Overall, "The Book Store Witch & the Curious Reader" was such an adorable story set in the "Cobblestone Coven" world. Tess and Florencia have such a cute romance that I couldn't help but smile at their relationship. I am also a huge fan of their goofy familiars. Obviously, the book related themes in this story were the icing on the cake and made this such a wholesome read. As a reader, I find it hard to dislike a story about fellow readers and their love of books.

5 STARS!!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Book Store Witch by Ariana Jade
A sapphic, witchy, cozy, bookish fantasy romance! 🥰

(with VERY light spice 🌶️ … not even a whole chili 😆, but well done!)

I loved this! I didn’t expect a 60 page book to be so good! Was it perfect writing? No, but it was accessible and relatable, and that made it a fast and a completely enjoyable read that I couldn’t put down.

The tropes in this story are everything I love:

📚 Bookstore setting
🐈 Animal familiars that talk
🏡 Cozy small town charm

And one of my favorite themes: talking about books and reading. 📖

Also, the theme of witches and sapphic love was absolutely perfect. The humor was just right, warm, lighthearted, and fun without trying too hard.

There is a tiny mention of spice (maybe half a 🌶️ if that is even a thing!) but it fit the tone beautifully. It did not need more.

This was exactly the kind of cozy sapphic fantasy I always hope to find, comforting, magical, and full of heart. I will definitely be reading the rest of the Cobblestone Coven books.

I actually found this one during a Romance Book Blast “Stuff Your Kindle” event, and this is exactly why I do those, to stumble across unexpected little gems like this one. A perfect palate cleanser read. 💜 I think I might have found a new favorite author! 💕

The Bookstore Witch and the Curious Reader absolutely enchanted me. Honestly, I don’t usually reach for cozy stories, but I couldn’t put this one down. Right from the beginning, when I realized the bookstore was unpacking witchy books, I was hooked. Everything in me screamed: I need to know more!

The relationship between the main characters was incredibly magnetic. Every scene between them had its own spark, a gentle kind of magic, and exactly the kind of tension that makes you turn the pages faster and faster. The writing was light, smooth, and filled with humor — some lines genuinely made me laugh out loud.

The only detail that might feel a little unusual is that outside the interactions of the main characters, the story almost seemed to pause. As if they only truly existed when they were together, and life around them barely moved in between. Honestly? That didn’t bother me at all. On the contrary, it felt sweet, magical, and it even enhanced the focus on their relationship, the atmosphere, and the charm of the entire world.

This book was a wonderful surprise for me — enchanting, funny, easy to read, and full of magic. And I will definitely be picking up the sequel.

Book Store Witch by Ariana Jade (AKA Arizona Tape) has a hook that few bookworms could resist - trying to turn someone into an avid reader. The eponymous character is Tess, a witch who uses her powers in her calling of running her own bookstore. (That was a dream of mine until book buying was changed by big corporations.) The target of Tess’s attempted conversion is Florencia, a nonreader. It was fun watching the two of them interact, especially when flirting is involved. The story is light-hearted, setting up the world of an upcoming series. I received a free Advance Reader's Copy of the book, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Book Store Witch was a lovely cosy read. I really enjoyed the writing style and how easy it was to get swept away with the story. I found myself rooting for something to happen between Tess and Florencia. Their interactions were so sweet. The backdrop of the book store was a great touch and I loved how this story centred around books as well the potential love life of the two main characters.
I felt this one was a great cosy read.

Tess is a witch that runs the local bookstore. She loves books, and enjoys helping others find the perfect book. Florencia is a customer that comes in for a book her friend recommended, but just isn’t that into reading. Tess loves a good challenge. This cozy, slow burn sapphic romance is a fun and easy read that will have you wishing for a bookstore like this. While all of the titles of the books in the story are made up, I wish some of them were real!

I really enjoy this magical world.

I am really enjoying the different books about the witches from the cobblestones.

Tess is a the owner of the bookstore and she loves reading, just like me. Florencia is sceptical about books and reading. But when she found a book that caught her attention she was hooked. Not only to books but to Tess too...

This story was ok. The relationship between Tess and Florencia seemed nice, but it was kind of just a basic small town witchy romance. There's nothing really wrong with that, but I just wasn't wowed by it or anything. I haven't read the main Cobblestone Coven books and I don't have any interest in them.

This was a sweet story. Makes me want to own a bookstore and spread a love of reading like the character in this story. I was gently introduced to this world, and relaxed for the journey.
My first book by this author, I enjoyed their style and characters. Only four stars due to the limited nature of the tale, but I would definitely be reading more by them.

Book Store Witch by Ariana Jade is a short story in the Cobblestone Coven universe. It can be read as a standalone. This witchy romance is a book girl's dream. Tess is a bookstore owner and avid book lover. Florencia is not a reader but stops into Tess's shop to pick up a book that her BFF insisted she try. Can she change Florencia's mind about reading? Will they end up on a date?
Bookstore Witch is cute and cozy. My favorite part is when the women communicate and are clear about what they want.
This one is shorter than Jade's usual, and it isn't one of my favorites, but it is good and has a satisfying epilogue. They give us another palate cleanser for when you want something light and happy.

No witchcraft

I didn't care for this book at all. There was way too much sex, and barely any witchcraft. I was quite disappointed.
