SYNFULLY SWEET is part of the multi-authored SIDE HUSTLE series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, opposites-attract, close-proximity, curvy girl gets her hunk romance. Syndal is a curvy girl who works in insurance but has a side business making chocolates. She sells at different shows, but longs to open her own chocolate shop. Joss is a hunky security guard who also does some modeling on the side. He sees Syndal at a convention he is doing security at and is taken with the curvy beauty. She likes him too but is shy at first having been hurt before. These two were adorable together. They had such great chemistry and the ending was so happy. I loved seeing old friends from the Denver family too.

During a visit to a book fair, she encounters Joss, a former military man turned book cover model and private security. Joss is instantly smitten with Syndal and does whatever it takes to get her.
I love Ember Davis’s brand of instalove. If you read her before, you know her heroes are swoony and her heroines are loved beyond reason. Joss has some baggage from his past, and Syndal has some self-esteem issues, but they fit together perfectly. This novella has just the right amount of spice, drama, and swoon. Definitely worth the read. Oh, and there are some cameos from some of the OG Denver Family just to make this story even better.

Not only do I love Syndel and Joss and the acceptance and love they find, but they are also absorbed into the amazing Denver family - which is far too big to name individually, but special thanks to Amelia and Blake for dragging these two amazing but unsuspecting people into the Banks Ink/Denver Family world... it's the most amazing place to be and Synfully Sweet fits perfectly into the crazy world of tattoos, music, security, art, photography and bars that the "family" run. A great addition to the side hustle series, with both Syndel and Joss having a side hustle....getting the cross over too - bonus!

A charming feel good romance. It was instant chemistry when Joss and Syndal first meet. Loved the inner dialogue of both characters. A bit of angst, humorous moments, and steamy sizzle kept the story flowing. Loved how Joss supported his “Sweet Syn” and understood her vulnerability. It was so fun to see the Social Outcasts and Higgins Security making Joss and Syndal’s dreams come true. Quick fun read.

This was a sweet story (ha no pun intended) and I really enjoyed seeing the transformation of a somewhat meek Syndal to a fierce, standing up for herself baddie. This was a cute, learning to love yourself novella with such a feel good ending. Syndal runs Synfully Sweet, a chocolate side hustle while also working a dead end job she hates in insurance. Joss is former military working security at conventions and as a romance book cover model. It’s at one of those conventions that they meet. Their meet cute is adorable awkward and I’m so glad they got a do over at the next one. Syndal seems almost neurodivergent, so that was a nice touch seeing her navigate things. She seems to break the fourth wall a bit talking directly to the reader which I’m not always a big fan of, but it worked in spots. I always love when Amelia and the Denver crew show up in a book and set everything to right. She’s like a mini fairy godmother at this point. I do wish we got a bit more of the Cindy story, like Joss shows up to pick her up from work or something to shove the truth in her face. No cheating or OM drama, slight OW drama, dual POV, HEA and the perfect epilogues in the future. Can’t wait to see what’s next for the Denver crew!

Despite the fact that her name sounds like p-rn-graphic footwear, I really liked Syndal. She loved selling her chocolate treats because she loved to make people happy. She is pure sunshine. But this isn’t a grumpy-sunshine romance because Joss isn’t a grump. When he looked at Syndal, he absolutely lit up. He is former military, and his side gig is being a romance novel cover model. Which made me ridiculously happy. He’s also likable, especially in the way he treated Syndal. The Instalove is over the top, but in the best kind of way. It’s hearts and flowers, not sturm und drang. I love when an Instalove isn’t full of wangst. The love story is very sweet with some grade-a steam.

Joss works security at conferences and events, and modelling on the side (for romance book covers!). Syndal works in insurance (yawn) but makes chocolate for markets and events. They are both working a conference and completely hooked on each other, although it takes Syn a while to put her trust in him.
This was a short, speedy read. The intensity between the characters was borderline obsessive in the best, can’t-look-away kind of way. Perfect if you’re in the mood for a quick but intense read! I picked up this book as part of the Side Hustle multi-author series, which has been interesting so far!.

Synfully Sweet is the second story I have read by Ember Davis and as a instalove romance it hit the mark.
Working side gigs at conventions, both the main characters, Joss and Syndal, are engaging and recognise their instant attraction to one another.
The plot and storyline is simple and well paced but definitely draws you in with each of the characters personal struggles and circumstances driving their interactions, and, in the case of Joss, his intense, almost obsessive need to make Syndal his. With chemistry that sizzles and some pretty spicy scenes that kept me turning the pages, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and definitely recommend.

WHO DOESNT WANT A COVER MODEL AS THEIR SIGNIFICANT OTHER??!!?!?!?
Also, I really would love to see the dick binky/pacifier mold in real life. (Did I amazon search for it? Yes. Did I find it? No… So Ember I need you to explain to me where you had this idea and if there is in fact an actual mold for it somewhere in life…)
I know the FMC blame is Syndal but my brain kept autocorrecting my thoughts to Synful so Syn was what I called her.
I love how Ember was able to easily connect Higgins security and Banks Inc. to this books. (She is really good at it!)
Definitely one of my favorites from her.
I’m still a little curious if the one dressed as a dragon was from Fourth Wing? (Would love to know!!)

This book is a part of the Side Hustle series and focuses on Joss and Syndal. Joss is former military who is actively trying to rebuild his life after his ex left him in a bad spot financially. He took a job working security for a conference center while also doing modeling for book covers on the side. While working his security job for a conference, he meets Syndal at her booth and immediately knows that she is the other half of him. His life changed in an instant and he had finally found his new purpose in life. Together, they created a pretty sweet life. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

Mouth watering deliciousness
Synfully Sweet by Ember Davis is part of the multi-author Side Hustle series. I fell in love with this story and the main characters, Syndal and Joss. They are both looking to make their dreams come true. For Syndal that is becoming a full time baker who opens her own shop. Let's just say the treats she makes are more than delectably delicious and will have your mouth watering. Joss is ex military who is having a hard time landing on what he wants now he is back home. He is working a security job and has an unexpected side hustle of being a romance book cover model. When they meet it is instant and forever...with all the sparking love and romance that goes with it.

Syndal & Joss meet while she is working a show with her baked treats. Joss sees her is knows almost immediately that she is meant to be his. He approaches her and asks for a date and she thinks he is joking and immediately regrets not giving him her number but they will meet again at the next show. Joss refuses to not get her number and take her out on a real date. Then they meet the family from Suburan Outcasts, Banks Ink and Higgins Security which changes both of their lives. They even overcome a girl Joss has to do photoshoots with who tried to break them up.

Loved her talking to her cats. They were unspeaking characters in this book! Syndal has a dream of opening her own sweet shop but has to work a drudgery job to pay the bills. She works events on the weekends selling her chocolate and they are hits! I loved her chocolate molds! Joss meets her on a job and knows this woman is someone he wants to get to know.
Their times together are so sweet but Syndal struggles with insecurity and there are mean girls who don’t want to see her happy!
I am loving these shorter stories but they still hit all the high points of a romance story plus a terrific HEA!

This was a really fun book to read! Syndal is trying to save up so she can open a Sweets shop. She works during the day at a job she wishes she could leave. At night she makes chocolates that she sells at various venues. Joss is former military currently working security and doing cover modeling on the side. His ex left him taking all of his savings so he is struggling. He would also like to get a better security job. They see each other often at the events and talk. Syndal does not think that someone like Joss would be interested in her. She is wrong he was attracted to her the first time he saw her and takes his time winning her over!

This book is a romance lovers DREAM!!! If you have ever attended a book convention and blushed as you took a pic with the hawt cover model..... this book is for you!!

Joss is ex military trying to deal with civilian life again. To make ends meet he works as a security guard and romance cover model. I loved Joss and Syndal together. She's insecure about her weight and he makes her feel beautiful. The way Joss supports her is sweet. Enjoyable read.

'If you like alpha heroes and an insta-love story that is sweet but isn’t necessarily simple, then this is for you.'
The characters drove the storyline and they were so very appealing and likeable and perfect together. Plot was well written and straightforward. World building was solidly drawn. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

Part of the multi-author Side Hustle series, Ember Davis pens Joss and Syndal's story in Synfully Sweet. A veteran working security and moonlighting as a book cover model in Joss, a wannabe baker in Syndal, and more chemistry than one can handle. If you are looking for a quick read, and prefer insta-love instead of a slow burn, this is the book for you! Joss is all in from the moment that he finally meets Syndal at a convention.
Not just for the yummy chocolates which she makes, not just because she has a kind soul, but because he loves her unconditionally. I loved that whenever there is any doubt, the misunderstanding is cleared real fast!
And that ending was such a cute and sweet one!

Loved this fast paced romance as Joss knows right from his first glance and taste he’s met the woman of his dreams. Syndal is wary of people getting close to her, and has felt the sting of betrayal before, she’s wondering if this time she can trust her instincts. Enjoyed how the Suburban Outcasts and that whole family was worked into the storyline.
