I have been writing novels for over a decade and had a couple published by traditional, small houses. Riding the self-publishing boom, I have four books in print that are available in paperback or e-book format. If you are interested in reading them, I am always open to sending out samples (or PDFs) to those who are interested.

I was born on the east coast and spent most of my life moving around. I recently settled into California where I am a graduate student in Experimental Psychology. I was a fitness trainer and am a lifelong student of martial arts. I write a little bit of everything and have lately been focusing on a few new novels, continuing some series and embarking on a screenplay binge.

Hope to hear from other avid readers and novelists out there.

I love this author!!

His books are solid. The stories are amazing. They catch you right out of the gate, and do not let you go. What an incredible ride!! I sincerely hope that there are many more books in this series. I think he has a winner here...

I love this series and discovered I'm behind! I love Lauren's story and the supernatural element to her cases are wonderful. I love this story and highly recommend reading these stories, especially if you love the supernatural.

Brain game

It is refreshing to find an author that gives a new twist to our werewolves, vampires and things that go bump in the night. Great read I'm anxious for book 3.

OKAY - What the hell happened??!! Mr. O'Brien - it seems the rest of the book is missing!! I'm reading the Kindle version, and I get to the end of what is apparently the last chapter, and what has been an interesting story and mystery - just ended mid-story. I am very perturbed, Mr. O'Brien. And I have not been able to find , Lauren Westlake Mystery, Book #3. WHERE IS IT?

Other than this sudden cliff-hanging ending, I was enjoying the story and it's very interesting mystery, with an other supernatural aura to it.

Wow

Suspense, murder, and mystery in San Francisco. I love Lauren character as a FBI agent and her take charge attitude. I was surprised with her having a brother and them being some kind on supernatural protectors. This series just keep getting better.....

Getting better

This book is miles apart from the first one. It almost works. The language is still a little stilted and this story is short and a cliff hanger. Hopefully it will get better as it continues.
