This sequel beautifully continues the storyline from the first book, deepening both the plot and the emotional connections between the three main characters. Their chemistry feels genuine, and the way they embrace their relationship adds warmth and authenticity to the story. A thoroughly enjoyable read.

Sam, Takar and Steve . . .

Sam Connor is a tough female who was kidnapped to fight in an alien arena where they broadcast the events to the rest of the universe. Steve is a creature whose job was to escort her to the fighting area and who is now facing execution for helping a human survive the first round of fighting. And Takar is an alien Orthan warrior helping to free them after he claimed her in the arena with his warrior's mark, which is where this second book picks up the story line. Armed security crashes through the suite door where they were resting and hiding and dragged both Sam and Steve away. When Takar's escort arrives to check on his nutrition, Takar negotiated for assistance in tracking Sam and Steve, offering his escort Thystalyth tactile touches needed by their species but denied to them by their Broadcast owners. Even his cool body temperature is like the escort's deep waters, and Thystalyth continues to explore him. When they finish, he tells Takar where the prisoners are and how to get to them past the guards, but he must get to them within 6 hours or the codes change. As he follows the route to rescue them, he notices two unconscious guards -- Sam has already been busy working on the escape and he follows her path of unconscious guards to Steve's cell! Takar already has the codes for the energy restraints on Steve. But they will still have to escape, and the producers of this sick show who enslaved them want revenge. Will the three of them be able to escape together? And if they can, could they find a safe place to finally settle down as a family?

Hunted by Lara Lorens continues the story begun in Watched. Sam is a human keeper trained in self defense after having been attacked by a criminal. She awakens naked in an alien facility where she is headed to the gladiator arena. Against all odds, she and huge alien Takar win the melee and escape along with Steve, her octopus-like helper. This book continues the threesome's adventures, including many spicy scenes and Steve's getting the free beings if his kind to join in training to defeat the arena znd free all the captives.

Where can I find myself a Steve

this story picks up with the last book left off.

Sam is a fierce FMC, kid - * napped and thrown into a intergalactic gladiator ring.

and Steve is her escort to and from the ring, he is adorable, and honestly the best. I love him, I want to make him mine. I loved seeing Steve grow as a characters, he is just the sweetest alien around.

This follows on from Watched. And just as spicy and adventurous as the first. These three, are now escaping the show they are forced to play out or die in the process. I loved how these three became so bonded and willed them to escape to a freedom they deserved.

Picking up right after the events in Watched, Sam, Takar and Steve escape the Broadcast facility and run for their lives. An exciting, steamy, fast-paced story, Hunted kept me entertained from start to finish where the three of them finally find peace and a home with the Bolt colony.

Sam, Takar, and Steve

This is a very good, well written, SciFi, Aliens/Human Romance. Sam has been enhanced to compete in a broadcasted reality show with Takar, an alien humanoid, and Steve, an alien cephalopod. They won in the previous book in this series but have been separated. Takar escapes to find Sam has also escaped. Then they rescue Steve and run. Read how they find other Bolts like Steve and what they can become. There is lots of action as well as passion between the PCs.

I really enjoyed this book. Good world building and wonderful characters. I loved Takar, Steve, and Sam. Sam wasn't a meek heroine, she was strong and capable and able to hold her own. Takar and Steve are very different aliens- in personality and biology. I found both interesting in their own ways, but I was most curious about Steve.

I loved the dynamic between the three of them and how strong of a connection they had. The trust and comradery between them. Their chemistry sizzled. I liked when Sam took control as either male could have overpowered her. This story was a fast-paced journey with action, suspense, and danger.

This is the first story I've read by this author and I would read more. 4 stars

This is book 2 of Savage Stars seriesvand you really need to read the previous book for maximum enjoyment.

The characters were wonderfully written and captivat8ng, complex and perfect together. The RH just works. The plot was intriguing, exciting, action packed and fast paced. World building continues to astound and fascinate. Highly and thoroughly enjoyed and recommend.

Sam Takar and Steve are on the run, they must relay and trust each other completely. This is a fast paced read with plenty of adventure and heat.
I enjoyed this story and the characters involved. I look forward to more books by Lara Lorens.

This story picked up from the cliffhanger in the last book. There's more action, a few surprises and a whole lot more steam in this one. I loved how the main characters grew and their relationship developed, and the ending was just perfect. I had a fun time reading this.

This is a great conclusion of Sams, Takar and Steve's adventure. It is action packed and a fast read. I normally get my e-books free but purchased this one as I enjoyed the first book and had to find out how it ended.

Unexpectedly Awesome

Wonderful ending to an extraordinary story. I am not sure what I expected, but this story was engaging and interesting and so believable.

Exciting interesting story

This is an exciting ending to this two book story. I love that we learn more about Steve’s species. Their peaceful nature and way they communicate are so interesting. Then they transform. Really good story.

The characters are charismatic and at times adorable. The quest to stay out of their previous captors bondage is intense and exciting. The adventure continues through a jungle like terrain and onwards into a spaceship. The love scenes are steamy and never disappoint. I have loved both books in this series Watched and this one, Hunted.
