Willa's new neighbor, Zachary Denton, begins to observe her closely, watching her every move. Denton, a horror writer with a mysterious background, becomes an intriguing yet enigmatic figure in her life. He insists that he wants to protect and warn her, but his intentions remain unclear. Willa finds herself drawn to his mesmerizing and sensual presence. However, as a series of incidents unfold, she begins to question whether Denton is a loving protector or a cunning predator. A chilling threat looms over their quiet Texas town, with victims who bear an uncanny resemblance to Willa.

I really enjoyed the character chemistry.
