Years ago, two young people had a chance encounter that changed their lives, and another one is about to happen and change everything again.

Brawley Dumont is a caretaker - a quiet man who loves his family, friends, town, and job as a police officer until his dream career is suddenly ripped away from him - or is it? An unavoidable surgery puts him on the sidelines, but what he discovers there opens the door for opportunities he never dared to dream of.

Clancy Middleton has spent the majority of her life tiptoeing around the people who should matter most to her. Luckily, her sisters have been by her side through it all. With patience, careful planning, and the help of some new friends, they take a chance and uproot their lives to go to the one place where they have family that truly loves them - Rojo, Texas.

A misunderstanding that was out of their control didn’t stop Brawley or Clancy from dreaming about each other, and now that the obstacles are out of the way they have the opportunity to make their dreams come true. With new jobs, a wide circle of friends and family, and the love they share, it’s time to see life from a different angle - and that view is even better when you experience it with the person you love by your side.

Everything changes eventually, but when you’re as lucky as Brawley and Clancy, those changes make your world a much better place. Join Cee Bowerman in Rojo, and visit old friends while you make some new ones in the third book of the Rojo Police Department series.

4.2 stars.
As always, the characters cary the weight of the whole book on their shoulders. And that’s a fact because I’m not sure I’d still be reading these books if I didn’t fall in love with 99% of the characters we get introduced to in them. Even the furry ones.
The plot is cool but not really a focal point, the romance is sweet but very fast and more time is spent on banter and companionship than actual romance…really I just loved the ‘people’.

Too Short

If you’ve ever been sucked into one of Cee’s worlds you understand why I say the book was too short.

This book like so many of her books it’s going to suck you in and not let you walk away until she gives you no other choice because the story has ended. You don’t read the words, you see the world she creates with her words and experience it with the characters.

Yes, you’ll get your HEA, no there’s no cliffhanger, it’s just going to end before you’re ready. You’re invested in these characters and need to see their lives progress, but you can’t because this is a fictional book and the story ended…I need more

Cee Bowerman has done it again, this book is spectacular. Brawley and Clancy are one of my favourite couples from this author and their story is fantastic. They meet when they are younger but a misunderstanding means they don’t see each other for years but they still think about each other. A chance meeting gives them a second chance to see if the dreams live up to the reality. Clancy and her sisters are so sweet and Brawley and his family are wonderful. We get to see old friends in this book, lot’s of love and the trivia competition will have you laughing out loud, it’s brilliant. Cee writes stories that make you want to live in her world and this one is no different, highly recommend this 🖤❤️

The Sunny Side is book 3 in the Rojo PD series and it did not disappoint. Brawley and Clancy's love story starts out a little different than most, they get a second chance to see just where their path may take them. They are both dealing with their own life struggles and some big life changes for them separately. When they finally come together, they compliment each other in ways that not only solidfies their bond, but also gives them confidence to move forward with the changes they each face.
As with most books we get some nuggets of info on some of our favorite Rojo residents, but I was most excited to get some updates on Bear and Autumn, while they do pop up in other books, we get a bit more in this one. I love this series so much. Another great read.

This one was cute, especially one you got past the harrowing start and Brawley and Clancy could actually talk to each other. I liked that with the one shared past event, they had a starting point. It might not have been a good one, but once the air was cleared they put it in the past and moved forward. Their relationship was no drama, just spending time together, amidst their friends and family, find their way.

I do wish we could have had some resolution of what Clancy's parents did the the money. I have a feeling there was a lot of theft there. Hopefully we will get answers, as the sisters are still around and there are lots of eligible people in Rojo.

Clancy and Brawley

This story touched me because my daughter teaches middle school and loves it. She tells me stories of her days that are relatable to this one. Although hers differ from firefighter to teacher. The transition was not so easy and during the time falling in love. We read the story together. We laughed a lot! I believe I have a new fan club member! Your antics in sibling rivalry is so spot on. The commoraderrie with all the characters is so fluid and speaks so highly of your writing skills. Clancy was finally given peace, passion and intimate sexy care. I really enjoyed this story. Brawley truly was her little bear.

This is a must-read so sweet!

This is the sweetest book. Brawley and Clancy's love story starts when they're 16 years old in the most unusual way. Stepmonster steps in and ruins it until unlikely circumstances come into play thirteen years later. These two are an unlikely couple with Brawley very easy, going and quite just like his daddy. Clancy comes from a country club family with money. When these two come together, it's just the sweetest, even though both have a crazy family. The extra special in this book is Max and Cupcakes puppy love!

Brawley & Clancy

It’s like coming home every time I return to Rojo! Brawley (and his parents) have always been favorites of mine so I am so excited to get his story! Little Bear! I love it. Clancy is so perfect for him. Their relationship is so easy and right - once they get past that little miscommunication from 13 years ago. Clancy deserves all the love and sweetness from Brawley and his family and friends. She deserves the Rojo life.

I couldn’t put this book down and I already can’t wait to read it again. 💜💜💜

Rojo

I absolutely love this crazy world that Cee Bowerman has created. Her books are always a one-click for me. I want to be friends or even family to this amazing bunch of characters. Clancy and Brawley are so perfect for each other. Spoiler - makes me sad that they didn't stay in touch when he rescued her in the very beginning, but it makes better sense to let them grow up and live life some. I laughed so hard too many times to count while reading this book. Rojo always feels like I'm coming home.

Another definite must read book and series!

One of the many things (& there are sooo many!) that I absolutely love about this author's books is the hilarious banter and the crazy antics that this enormous family passes on like they're precious family heirlooms! Lol! All of the stories are fantastic, unique, and definitely keep you coming back for more. Every single book/series is a definite must read that you certainly won't want to miss!
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author.

I can't wait to read more from this author!

She just keeps nailing it!

I have come to the conclusion that Miss Bowerman isn’t capable of writing a bad story. I have also accepted that I will own all of her books, and if I ever get the chance to meet her in person I will end up fangirling! If you haven’t read her books before this, you need to rectify that immediately! I fell in love with her when read Kale and I don’t imagine I will ever fall out of love with her.

Fantastic

I started this series 2 days ago and I haven't been able to book my kindle down. Brawley is absolutely amazing with Clancey. He's so much like his dad, Bear, and Clancey reminds me of Autumn! These characters are so funny that you just can't help not loving them all over again. Makes !e want to reread Kale again and just enjoy Rojo! Never stop writing Cee! I love alk of your books!!!

The story of Clancy and Brawly. OMG I love these two. Brawly saved Clancy's life many years ago when she was in an auto accident. Years later they meet again when she gets knocked out with a tennis ball to the temple. Again he saves her life. This book is super funny as are most of this authors books. I have all her books on kindle. I recommend this book to all women who enjoy motorcycle books with humor.

Loved Brawley and Clancy together. Brawley is hilarious and almost a carbon copy of his dad Bear. What Clancy and her sisters went through as kids could have turned them into entitled brats but they rose above it and became decent, loving, funny human beings. My only complaint is that it seemed rushed and there doesn't seem to be the intricacy of the the older books. What I loved was Max...what a wonder dog!!!!

Another book devoured

I’m trying to find it in me to be upset It wasn’t Marley‘s book but how can I when Brawley is fantastic? Once again, another great read from Cee. I also feel that the sisters will be getting their own story as there were some things that were left unfinished. Well, I can hope anyway.

Another great book from cee bowerman. Brawley (little bear) and clancy have a history when brawley saves her but when things happen they don't see each other for 14 years then end up in the same place and the misunderstanding gets resolved and they fall in love in true cee fashion we get a little from OG rojo People and the next generation plenty of daughter

Little Bear and Clarisse

I loved the prolonged then spent half the book waiting for these two to be reunited. We got lots of familiar found family faces. I'm hoping that Crow and Phoenix eventually get a book because I'd love to read them. Clancy and Brawley were adorable together. I love the trivia challenge! Super cute fun read. Can't wait for the next Rojo book

Bradley was a great read

This book was amazing. The way that police and students interacted was amazing. Finding an reading about the trivia contest was a laughter all itself. I enjoyed how Autumn, Brawley mother acted, tugging on his cheeks and being jerk. It was nice hearing and reading about old friends also.

3.5 ⭐️’s - I was a bit disappointed with this one, which sucks since I am a big CB fan. The first 50% of the book is about them individually. They finally get together and BAM it jumps to 3 weeks later and they’re in love! Felt like I did not get enough time of them together or with the crazy family members.

loved it!

Brought so many characters back, most of the kids I had a hard time remembering who the parents were, but interacting throughout the book was hilarious. The part about her parents and taking control of the sisters inheritance was left hanging. Last it was mentioned the father was suing to get control back then nothing. Overall it was an amazing book to read.

Clancy and Brawley were absolutely adorable! How they met, how they thought of each other through the years and they somehow end up living in the same town. That connection is still there and it obviously has just grown stronger. Sure, there are a few misconceptions that had to be cleared up, so funny. I cannot wait for more of the RPD!

So sweet

I absolutely loved seeing Brawley find his One. They were absolutely adorable and so perfect for each other. I wish the grandparents generation would have made more appearances since I love Martha & Smokey shenanigans. I can’t wait for the next visit to Rojo!

Laughter is the best medicine.

This book is filled with heart and the best laughter. Brawley and his friends arguing over the answers to the trivia contest was priceless. And I love the relationship Bear made with Clancy.

I Wanna Live in Rojo!

I don't like Texas, but I want to be part of this universe. I love Bear and Autumn, but I love Clancy, Brawley and Max more. This is a gem! I want to know if the ghastly parents got their comeuppance, and more Max!
