I thought the writing style was wonderful. Easy to read, almost poetic, but the plot was just missing something for me. I can’t even put my finger on what exactly. I liked the look into that time period it gave, but just wasn’t blown away over all. It’s a good book to read casually.

I am really enjoying this book, about halfway through so far. My Mama was an avid reader,and I just had a sad moment, because i cannot recall one book right now that she said was her favorite. :(

Beautifully written....the prose is poetic at times. I loved the spiritual element incorporated into the novel.
