This is an excellent book for anyone who’s just started their workout journey as well as advanced trainee. No bullshit, no repeating thing a thousand times in order to make the book thick like many authors do it unnecessarily. 100 pages long. I am pretty much familiar with many things outlined in the book. The author, Brandon Carter briefly explains each secret backed by science. Simple details like rest between sets, weight-loading and topics that others don't cover like sleep, doing full body workouts are better than split workouts, how to boost testosterone naturally, supplement rationale, cutting/bulking regularity and most importantly, failure are real eye-openers. Totally worth for reader’s time to read and follow the instructions in this book.

Lift, Eat Right, Get Sleep

B. Carter has many key nuggets in this volume. The key points he highlights are about compound lifting movements, proper and consistent nutrition, and proper rest, recovery, and sleep. His book is a lot more to digest, but if you need to know where to get started, take a look at Carter’s book Ultimate Mass.

this is all true

This is a basic and good routine for some one to put on muscle fast and for natural lifters although I think the workout would be a little to long and exhausting so I would split the workout into two days.
Do half the exercises on one day and the other half on another day

Truly what I was looking for. No bullshit, no repeating thing a thousand times in order to make the book thick. Sure there is stuff that is on Brandons blog and the book seems to collect all the data that You could accually get from him for free but for Christ's sake.. it's a ONE DOLLAR BOOK! I would be glad if I got to it earlier. This guy seems to be more legit that most of the people out there who OVER think training. They count calories, how many times they took a dump etc. This is supposed to tell me WHAT to do to get as much lean muscle as fast as possible and it does. Now it is up to the reader whether or not he will follow Brandon's advice. Whole body workouts, here I come.

Great for beginners

I've been following Brandon for a number of years and as a result none of the information was new to me-- well, maybe seeing the research behind some of what he says was new, but not much else. If you watch his YouTube videos and visit his website frequently you will find this book to be a waste of time, which isn't meant to take anything from this book, but rather, speak to the quality of his site and videos.

I am an advanced gym goer so the book was 2.5-3 stars for me, but if you're a beginner or just starting out in the gym this is a great book for you to pick up.

Astounding! In this short book of 100 odd pages, Brandon Carter has provided mind-blowing info that can maximize your gym workouts. Simple details like rest between sets, weight-loading and topics that others don't cover like sleep, supplement rationale, cutting/bulking regularity and most importantly, FAILURE are real reiterations/eye-openers.

One of the finest i have read.
