I once believed my greatest battle was surviving Prince Thalor’s obsession. But the deeper I fall into Varendal’s palace, the more I realize—desire is only the beginning.
Behind gilded walls lies a viper’s nest of alliances and betrayals. Every kingdom has its price, every noble their hidden blade. Thalor would burn empires to keep me his, yet the true danger isn’t just his devotion—it’s the war brewing between Varendal and Narkadia, and the cruel choices waiting in its shadows.
And then there is Ryu—lost soul, same as me. Bound to Iris as I am, he is both a reminder of the life I lost and a temptation I cannot escape. Our connection grows sharper with every heartbeat, even as politics, obsession, and fate conspire to tear us apart.
Now I must survive not only Thalor’s possessive fire but also the clash of kingdoms, the schemes of courtiers, and the dangerous pull of a bond that was never meant to exist.
🔥 Fatebound is a dark fantasy romance of obsession, political intrigue, and forbidden desire. Perfect for fans of Hunting Adeline, From Blood and Ash, and Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac.
Ryu and Iris are great characters in this book. I didn’t read the first book and I wish I had because I know I’m missing a lot of background. But this story overall was really good. I love dark fantasy and this book delivered. I’m not big on court politics, but I did love the forbidden love trope. The twists and turns in this book had me turning pages wanting to know what was going to happen next. This book was so descriptive, the characters so well developed, that it was being right there while you’re reading. I enjoy a book that can pull you in like that. Just absolutely beautiful and exciting.
