The Phoenix Protocol: Enhanced: A Men's Harem-Lit Post Apocalyptic Adventure

Rate this book
When the world ended, only the enhanced survived.

Gunner "Phoenix" Kane is the original prototype—genetically enhanced with superhuman strength, tactical genius, and stamina that makes him invaluable in the wasteland. Created by brilliant scientist Dr. Tasha Volkov, he's humanity's apex predator and the most dangerous man alive.

But Colonel Katz and his Cerberus forces want to control what they can't kill. They're hunting enhanced humans, especially the fertile women whose genetics hold the key to humanity's future. When Gunner rescues warrior Isabella Santos from a Cerberus breeding facility, it triggers a war that will determine whether enhanced humans live free or die in chains.

Now Gunner must protect the women drawn to his superior genetics while dismantling Cerberus one tactical strike at a time. Tasha needs his protection—and carries his child. Isabella craves his dominance after what she's survived. And more enhanced women await rescue, their biology calling out for the alpha who can keep them safe.

In a world where might makes right and breeding determines survival, one enhanced soldier will build his pack, claim his territory, and prove why original specifications beat mass-produced copies every time.

The Phoenix has risen. Let them try to clip his wings.

Book 1 of The Phoenix Protocol—an explicit post-apocalyptic adventure where enhanced abilities, tactical dominance, and breeding imperatives collide. This male-targeted series delivers intense action, harem dynamics, and no-fade-to-black heat. Not for the faint of heart.

DNF at 40%, possible AI

Had to drop the book earlier than I normally do because of a few key factors that led me to believe that AI was at least partially utilized in the writing. First of all, multiple chapters had repeating dialogue. In one chapter, the MC infiltrates a secure compound and subdues each guard in 1 of 3 ways. Each time, the dialogue is exactly the same. Second, there was a lack of cohesive timeline. After rescuing the person that the MC infiltrated the previously mentioned compound for, the next chapter appears to be weeks or months in the future. It is described in this chapter that he will return to base to wake her up and get her prepped for a fight to come. The next chapter brings us back to the immediate aftermath of their escape from the compound from two chapters prior when he is bringing her into a med bay. There is also a mention of a scientist that he rescued "a few months ago". Imagine my surprise when I skip to the end of this book to leave a review and discover that the scientist is mentioned as being their next target in book 2. So, the timelines in this book are all sorts of messed up, and the dialogue is robotically repetitive. Seems fishy to me.
