In Winter, you return to the world of the Frosted Fae Series and catch up with some of your favorite characters a year after the events of "Silver". This installment feels like a warm, welcome homecoming as it gives you a chance to reconnect with Rist and Rory as they return home for the holidays.

Unlike the previous books, "Winter" offers a much-needed respite for its characters, allowing them to finally take a breath after all the trauma they have endured. It's a quieter story, but not without its own compelling moments. E.D. Lee weaves together glimpses into the characters' past and present, and provides a deeper insight into how they're adapting to the new world they fought so hard to create.

While the plot may be a bit lighter, the book is far from uneventful. It’s rich with the elements you love: spice, drama, and intrigue are all present, just in different measures. Winter is a satisfying and heartfelt read that beautifully captures the joy of a hard-won peace, acknowledgement of work still to be done, and the power of found family. It’s the perfect book for anyone who wants to spend a little more time with their favorite characters.

I thoroughly enjoyed Winter and I think you will too!

Thank you to E.D. Lee for the opportunity to read this story before it releases.

This was an exceptional conclusion to the Frosted Fae series. I love that this novella was from the perspective of all the characters I love (Rory/Rist, Ciernan/Levana, and Crispin). I was drawn into the story from the first page and could not put it down until I was done. The banter between Rory and Rist is always wonderful, but seeing that they're finally getting to settle down is so heartwarming. This is a wonderful read to round out the series and brought the story full circle.

WINTER is the perfect ending to the Frosted Fae series. Rist, Rory, and Crispin have been through so much throughout these books, and seeing them get the happy ending they deserved felt incredibly satisfying. While I’m sad to say goodbye to characters who truly feel like family, it’s comforting to know their story was wrapped up with a beautiful, winter-laced bow. Thank you, E. D. Lee, for such a perfect conclusion. ❄️
