Honestly, it started out so good in the first few chapters. Then, once she has the job, the only decent parts are the spicy scenes. The drama of dealing with her ex had merit and helped build the story.
The rest of it was monotonous. The timeline was fuzzy. The scenes surrounding their workplace add zero to the substance. Those parts could be skipped and have nothing lost.
They meet at a club that leads to an intimate encounter, but Carlos can't forget the woman that has been staring in his dreams. They agreed to no names and numbers but imagine their surprise when she comes to his corporation as one of the finalists for the job slated. They agree to keep things professional, but fate has something else in store and when someone gets footage of their office encounter their livelihoods are on the line not to mention that Claire has another secret that can be a game changer. this story kept me glued to the pages.

One Night with a Grumpy Billionaire by Ashley Ellis
I enjoyed reading Claire and Carlos's story. I felt their story unfolded at a good pace and all the situations were believable. Once I started reading, I didn't want to stop. Ashley has written another great romance.

We all need someone to stand with us on this journey called life from time to time. Carlos was able to recognize Claire as his person after one no strings attached night. Claire slowly let down carefully let down walls she had built up the last five years….when she does something beautiful, almost magical starts to grow and bloom.
This book was okay, not the best I’ve ever read. Claire just really got on my nerves. I didn’t like how it was written , like “Today I get up, I go to work, I get out of the elevator, his eyes don’t reach mine, etc. I would not read it again.
