Definitely a step up from issue 1. I appreciate the backstory we get in this one. We get to know the characters better. And it all works to set up this ultimately tragic story of a man who is just desperate to keep his family together, even though it's obvious it's already fallen apart. I'm really invested now.

so so good, everything dead and dying might be my indie ongoing run rn

the art is everything, the choice of panelling and how switching between timelines contributes to the story as a whole

what more can i say? it’s thrilling and bittersweet and heartfelt in all the right ways

everything good and going fr

Damn this one got really dark. I loved the backstory here, and the final few pages are super intense/sad. A 4 out of 5.

I usually try to reserve my judgement of single issues until I've read a few and kind of start to understand what story is being told. 2nd issue is off with a bang! Moving on to the next.
