ARC Review-BookSirens Star Rating: 3.5 Pub Date; Sept 14th, 2025 Spice: 🌶️ I read this in one sitting. This is a small town firefighter romance between Isla who’s a baker and firefighter Logan. I really enjoyed all the baking stuff in this and their romance was cute. It’s slow burn and not spicy at all just basic. I wanted more. I did like Logan’s side since it’s firefighter I love that stuff. He moves next door to Isla and their connection sparks from there. The romance kinda left me wanting more, it was too quick for me but it was cute and I liked the banter between the characters. Could have been better. Still enjoyed though :)
This is Hailey Carter and Beckett Cole's story. Talk about opposites! They meet when she relocates to her late aunt’s bungalow for a fresh start, and she meet her brooding, grumpy neighbor. Beckett Cole has one rule—keep to yourself. Her rule - she bakes cookies and is full of happiness and sunshine. Will she get past the barriers he has erected? Interesting read. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
