Another great edition to the series. This one was a stalker romance with cheating back stabbing ex’s but who cares when you have a hulking masked masc to rescue you and get revenge?

Now you may be thinking “gods another stalker romance” and yes you’d be right, however you’d also be wrong because this little nugget is so much more!

This one is a slightly slower burn than little lamb, but it is not lacking in the spice department, nor the emotional one. And again Cirrus has managed to pack an entire novels worth of story into such a short number of pages and I’m absolutely in love.

Again these characters have such depth and vulnerability to them and it is not what you’re expecting from a spicy novella, but it sure adds to the allure of Cirrus’s books. Quinn and Ira’s chemistry sizzles from the beginning in that almost insta love type way and honestly it gave me the warm and fuzzies. Now I know she burned down her house and rescued her from said fire, and that it’s a little unhinged, but look nobody’s perfect. And that may be Quinn’s only flaw!

If you’re looking for a short, dark, spicy read then look no further. Start the Masked Mascs series with Little Lamb and work your way through.

YUUUUPPPP because somehow this one was even hotter than the first. i devoured this shit in one sitting. it’s fast, filthy, addictive, and every single chapter had me kicking my feet and screaming for more.

two badass women getting cheated on while their shitty exes are off having their little affair?? EMBARRASSING FOR THEM. because in the end they—die, literally—accidentally gifted us Quinn & Ira, and honestly that’s the hottest apology imaginable.

Quinn is dark, dangerous, completely fucking unhinged in the best way possible. and Ira??? sweetie pie angel baby on the outside but secretly kinky as hell underneath all that softness??? I WAS LOSING MY MIND. that contrast???? elite. lethal. tooooo damn good

together they were sexy as hell and completely addicting. the tension, the chemistry, all of it just worked. i seriously couldn’t get enough.

I loved Little Lamb so when the email came in for the ARC of Into the Fire, I practically jumped on it. Had it downloaded and read within like 2 hours. I couldn't put it down, nor did I want to.

The opening chapter in this book was enough for me to fall in love with it. It felt very visceral. I could picture the scene that Cirrus was setting up and see Quinn moving through that setting.

Into the Fire does something that Little Lamb didn't, it splits the POV chapters evenly between Quinn and Ira. This added a layer of emotional depth to Quinn that we didn't really see in Ez and added a lot more intrigue for me. What can I say? When it's fictional I'm into stalking and obsessive behavior. 🤷

The sex scenes in this book were also freaking fantastic. They felt less dark than those in Little Lamb, but no less erotic. It was hot. Don't really have more words for it.

FINALLY we get a sapphic masked character!! The read was short and sweet, which was great for a quiet afternoon in. The beginning of the story moved very quickly, which was a smidge too short for my own liking (I like a solid story arc to begin the smut) which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. All in all, I did enjoy the energy of both of the main characters. I believe the author did a great job of capturing the experience of sapphic people (Dating exes, wearing boxers, yearning for the person you saw across the room weeks ago). I had the privilege of reading this piece and reviewing it prior to the public release, and I will be purchasing book 1 and 3 to fill the void. Dark romance girlies - this one is for you!

I love me an unhinged MC. But, make the character a FMC AND sapphic? Sold. CR writes crazy ass WLW FMCs so well.

Rich CEO Quinn knows what she wants and it willing to get her by any means necessary. She is unhinged, chaotic and disturbingly passionate.

This was erotic, certifiably insane but, romantic in a “lock them both up in a psych ward as bunk mates” kind of way.

Into the Fire is the second book in the Masked Mascs series. The story follows Ira, who has had a tough life and is trying to start all over after a break up, until she encounters a stranger who becomes obsessed with her and vows to do anything to protect her, including removing anyone in her way.

I am completely obsessed with this book. The spice is top-tier, and I found it impossible to put down. This one is definitely my favorite, and I cannot wait to read the rest of the books from the series.

I really enjoyed this book, but don't read this if you don't think someone committing murder for you and completely controlling your entire life is hot. Classic stalker insta love romance with some very dark moments and some very spicy ones. Can't wait for the next book in this series!

I think this one might be even better than the first. I’d say it’s short and sweet, but it’s more short and steamy and dark. Very well written, I appreciate well constructed sentences, and this has clearly been constructed with love and dedication. The absolute fantasy of it is really engaging. The characters are great and the plot is a lot of fun. Highly recommend.

Quinn & Ira

This is the second book in the Masked Masc series and I think this series has consumed me actually!!

Quinn and her stalker/obsession vibes just hooked me right in and she made it her mission to get Ira… I loved it bad!! Quinn had me pissed for a chapter but she made it up, in the sexist way(the kitchen scene…. I’m obsessed)

But yes… read this series!!!
