Her life quickly turns to terror when she becomes the target of a ruthless killer. With her glasses knocked off and her defenses down, she's at the mercy of her attacker. But when all hope seems lost, her mate appears, ready to protect her at all costs.

About the author

I started my journey as a reader but quickly learned how much I enjoyed everything about romance, so I picked up the pen in 2017 and haven't looked back. Writing various genres, paranormal romance is my go-to. However, I do have a few mysteries and contemporary romances under my belt.

My favorite books involve characters that aren't perfect and have room to grow or a good mystery you can't easily solve. With each new book, I keep this in mind and enjoy creating complex worlds where my characters take the stage.

When I am not creating fantastic new worlds for my readers to get lost in, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my two rescue dogs, Sammie and Jake.

Liam Walsh is a wolf shifter and a staff sergeant and second in command in the elite X force. A group of made shifters who are enhanced and changed to keep shifters in check. His life is going good until the day he finds that his mate is a forensic scientist that also works for X force. When Pauline ends up in the sights of a serial killer she is targeted and taken . Liam and his team need to put all feelings aside and find her before it is too late.
Liam and Pauline are the sweetest of couples . Liam is a natural born leader and very dedicated to his job. When he finds his mate you see a softer sweeter side of Liam. He becomes very protective and oh so sexy when he is around Pauline. Pauline is a sweet woman who works hard and is very sweet . She never thought that she would find someone to care for and love. She is strong willed and feisty and is willing to do what it takes to be with the man she loves . I truly like these characters and the way they are with each other . They compliment each other very well .
This is a read that will suck you in trust me . I read this in a evening and I didn't move from the spot until I was done. There are trigger warnings for this book from stalking to abduction, graphic sexual content to list some. So if you are a little iffy about that I would stay away from. Overall this is a book that will keep you reading all evening . So if you like shifters check it out . This author has a great way writing her shifters . A great fall read.

I enjoyed this read it was a quick read
The flow of the story was good even when it jumped from one scen to the next. The timelines played out as they should too. The author did a great job of explaining what Project X-Force was and how the men and women came to be part of this specail branch.
It was not a very romantic love story. Everyone knows about shifters and the acceptance of a fated mate is something they all want. But these two loved each other and had that mate pull early on in the book.
The mystery of who the serial killer was and why he killed shifters was the main plot of the story. The drama was there and the way each incident was handled was good.
There was more to the story than just them and the mystery. He went on missions to rescue people. She went on long hikes to recall things from the past.
There were some areas of the story that did not make sense in the story. At the first of the book Liam says he had not seen his family since he was changed.
Yet he states later on in the story that he does not get to visit his family as often as he likes. Since his dad gets confused seeing him so long.
Also the killer being a shifter as well. He only shifted his legs and he was fast. But that was never addressed in the story.
Overall it was agood read. Oh and you dont have to read book one to understand book 2

Project X- Force: W.O.L.F is an action packed roller coaster ride full of shifters, humans, suspense, hatred, and it will keep you on the edge of your seat as you wonder how this world will work in the end . The storyline and worldbuilding are expertly written by this author to the point that you smell the chemicals in the medical buildings, feel the trust of team members and sour distrust of some non shifters. I could not put this book down and finished it in an afternoon it is not a quick read. That being said the character development is intense and you will become totally invested in the main characters and their team members. This series is one you will want to continue and can be read as a stand alone but I am sure you will get more out of it if read in order. I will definitely be going back to read other books in the series. Well done.

Part romance, part action/thriller this story is packed! Pauline gets caught up in a killer's plan for revenge and really has some of the worst luck. Liam is a man of action and his team backs him up. The killer is clever though and causes major problems. I did enjoy how Liam was still sent on missions even though he just found his mate. This added a more realistic feel to the story. I also found it interesting that shifter are "out of the closet" so to speak and the military force works so closely with the police force. I enjoyed this story and I think it would make an excellent novel, but it’s really good as a novella too. There's violence and adult content.

Staff Sergeant Liam Walsh is a member of the X-Force team and is a wolf shifter. He loves his military career, but things change when he discovers his mate. Pauline Nevins, a Forensic scientist, is his mate, and he'll do whatever it takes to protect her. Pauline has always been passionate about forensic science. While working alongside X-Force, she stumbles, literally, upon a body. Having lost her glasses in the tumble, all she can see is a blur raising its hand towards her. When all seems lost, her mate saves her in gleaming white fur and a growl.

This is a different take on shifter romance and the first book I've read by this author. Thrilling storyline that was full of action and suspense. Staff Sergeant Liam Walsh joined project x-factor in 1995. His special military shifter team are all different types of shifters who are sent into dangerous areas around the world to rescue people. Once he meets Pauline his wolf knows she's his mate.

This book, from the moment that I started I was transported to another world, one in which shifters and humans cohabitate. Sometimes it works out really great and sometimes you get those who want to destroy. This book will keep you interested and wanting to know what is going to happen and why some people do what they do. You will not be disappointed. This book needs to be read, you will not be sorry that you did.

A serial killer is on the loose, and shifters are being killed one by one. Staff Sergeant Liam and his squad are out to get the killer, along with CSI Pauline and her team. A story of love, fated mates, shifters, and a crazy serial killer thrown in for good measure!!! What's not to love?!
