Where the Broken A 'Me, Myself, and I' Dark Romance Anthology
In Where the Broken Bloom, ten stories trace the jagged paths of women who find their strength through submission and rise from the ashes, despite the anchors weighing them down. Here, the men—mafia kings, billionaires, bikers, bullies, and beasts—are not destroyers but brutal knights in shining armor. Their strength is wrapped in obsession and devotion is forged in dominance; all are willing to bend the world to see their women rise.
Emily Klepp is a Western North Carolina native residing in eastern Tennessee with her loving husband and two beautiful children. She has been writing since she was fourteen years old as a way to cope with her anxiety. 1. The Beast and His Savage Queen: A dark romance that does indeed deserve a HEA! This is Milly and Mak, The Beast's story. A story of habitual abuse from her father, to be traded off to her uncle when her father kills her mother and brother, who ends up selling her for her sexual favours at his local massage parlour. Until Oden comes and takes her away from Uncle Leo, to place her with the beast....but first she needed to survive a party held by his father, Jakob.....following yet LOL. A very twisted and dark start to you Milly's life, but when The Beast rescues her and wishes her to give him an heir, she accepts. Mak treats her well, and who wouldn't say no to his monster c*ck! She decided she wasn't giving that up any time soon. Enemies circle, but also Mak's right hand man Aiden has taken a liking to Milly. So two becomes three....cos why choose, right? An enemy turns out not to be so much an enemy but someone who wants to rescue Milly. All's well that ends well as Oden makes another appearance, and who can say no when your husband encourages illy and Oden to reconnect!! And three becomes four!! Yes Please! Plenty of triggers within this story so be aware before embarking on this fascinating story. Loved it from start to finish!
2. Forever Yours: This is Victoria and Orlando's story! I just loved Victoria, or Tori as she preferred to be called. Tori was promised to Orlando, before she was even born, so as she grew up, she decided no one would be taking her and making her their toy or maid or submissive wife. So she ran. What she didn't know was that Atticus, her brother and Orlando kept her in their sights and kept her safe until it was time for her to come home. There are so many twists to this story, and it had me from the first page. Tori gets herself into trouble, bought at an auction, only to escape straight into the arms of Orlando. Now everyone needs an Orlando in their lives...he is definitely my new book boyfriend. He treats Tori with so much respect...loving her the way a woman should be loved. Making her feel cherished, so when she is once again found by the man who bought her at auction, all bets are off. He will save his wife and bring her home....swoon worthy!! An overall great fast paced short story with all the feels!
3. Broken Dolls: This is Millie, Sean, Marc and Tristin's story! From getting thrown out of her apartment by her father to answering a job advert for an executive assistant, Milly soon finds herself bound by another contract to three men.... Sean loves virgins! So her offers one million dollars for Millie to allow him to take her virginity! Both Tito (Tristan) and Marc are happy when Millie signs the contract in exchange for TPE. Millie agrees to a no feelings sexual partnership with the three men. But keeping feelings out of the equation is not as easy as she once thought. Child abuse and sexual abuse all her life with the demeaning of her self esteem leave Millie wanting more! Millie comes across as a strong character and all three men do eventually fall for their little damaged doll. A story with plenty of plot twists to keep it interesting with lots of power play and plenty of smut! Her boys know how to keep their little doll happy!
4. Protecting Peace: This is Shayla and Lance's story: Lance is Shayla's boss, but feels so much more for her than that. Shayla has just got out of an abusive relationship and Joe continues to terrorise her. Jennifer, by arranged marriage by their parents, is Lance's fiancee. The arranged marriage is something he is determined not to happen. This is a very dark and twisted story as both Shayla and Lance admit their feelings for each other, but Lance still has to find a way to get out of his arranged marriage. When Trevor, Lance's best friend is found f*cking Jennifer, then he knows the arrangement has been voided. He is finally free to make Shayla his! ABut with all great stories there has to be the big twist, and this leads you down the path with Shayla and Lance fighting to keep what is theirs safe. Loved it, darkness, triggers and all!
5. The Price of Freedom: This is Sasha and Desmond's story Running from her best friend Desmond was the worst decision of Sasha's life. But she saw the betrayal of one of his partners and was told to run or they all die. Grant, Grayson, Desmond and Harrison started a company together. The trouble started when Sasha caught one of the partners stealing from the company. So she ran, and ended up being a sex slave for more cruel men. Going to an Auction with Grayson and Grant for his birthday, Desmond could not believe his eyes when he saw Sasha on the stage ready for auction. He, of course bought her and then proceeded to find out why she ran and what had happened to her over the years that she had been gone. This is a very dark romance with many triggers throughout the story. I loved the intensity and the fast pace of this story. A quick witted sassy MFC, Sasha has a lot a trauma to overcome but her three men are there for her every step of the way.
6. Brutal Bliss: This is Talia, Sean and Maxim's story Talia is abducted by her mother at the age of 10. She meets her soon to be step father, Brian and the sexual abuse starts soon after. Her mother and Brian sell her off to Presley. She is supposedly going to be married to him, but he allows his fellow work associates rape her repeatedly. She has never had an orgasm or been kissed. When Presley shoots his father and Talia witnesses it, she runs....straight to her Step Brothers, Sean and Maxim. She signs their contract, knowing she has bound herself to them for the next five years. She doesn't care as she feels safer in their company than she has for many years. Trauma reaction is different for everybody and Talia is no different. She still seeks to be f*cked savagely and Sean and Maxim are happy to comply! When Sean and Maxim hear what she has put up with for years, they decide to avenge her. But Talia wants her own revenge and so the three of them set out to destroy what had incapacitated Talia for so long. She is one bad*ss bitch that they should not have crossed! Another great dark, taboo read that has you on the edge of your seats. For a quick fast paced read it has everything that you could possibly want in a short story, Talia, Sean and Maxim seek their own Brutal Bliss!
7. Falling in Ashes This is Coraline and Dawson's story And once again, on the edge of your seat drama as Coraline fights to stay safe from a psychotic ex whilst letting her heart fall for another. Dawson is Cora's boss and has worked closely with her for 6 years. As time has passed his feelings had increased, but he knew she had a past and was waiting for her to realise he was there waiting for her. When she needs his help, he is there, and let me tell you he went over and beyond to assist her after Austin caught up with her once he was released from prison. Fighting once again against his sexual abuse, she rings Dawson to help her. Which he does. He makes her feel safe and as many rape victims deal with their trauma differently, Cora decides that Dawson is a man she can trust. The plot twists in this story had me reeling, literally! It was butt clenching good as I was definitely Cora's ride or die girlfriend......as Dawson cheats on her with her best friend Bailey...or did he? As Austin causes havoc within Dawson's company, only to disappear with Bailey in tow! How does Cora forgive Dawson? How does the company survive their CEO hitting the tabloids with cheating allegations against Cora. It is one big swamp fest that had me vested in our strong FMC, Cora from the beginning to the end...as she was I finally understands that love isn’t about being untouched by fire— it’s about finding the one person willing to walk through the smoke with you!
8. Twisted Ties: This is Celeste, Atlas, Reid and Cassian's story Once again, men of dubious character are smitten with a woman that his beyond broken. Celeste has fought for all her life from a young age. Born to drug addled parents that ended up in so much debt to the wrong man, she witnessed their murder, only to be taken by him and repeatedly abused and raped for years. Enter Cassian, Reid and Atlas! New owners to the company that Celeste was stealing from to pay Alexander (her parents murderer)! They find her deception and instead of firing her they make a deal with her. But she becomes so overwhelmed that the only way out of her miserable life is to end it all. Suicidal thoughts had been playing on a loop in her head for a while...so she OD's. Cassian, Reid and Atlas soon find that the deal made with Celeste means more to them than just a contract for money earned. She was their F*ck toy...until feelings became involved. Celeste is not the strongest of MFC that are included in this Anthology, but her character definitely evolves once her three men connect with her. They help her build her self up to make her feel she is someone important and has a lot to offer. Loved her character development and how Cassian, Reid and Atlas help her when she is at her lowest.
9. Riding Freedom: This is Zoey, Zach and Gavin's (Blaze) story With a rough start to life once her mother passed away, Zoey could not leave her father quick enough. Moving to New York she dated John, who was a narcissist. After one too many beatings for not doing as he liked, she left and went back home but refusing to move bath with her father. Working at the local saloon, she soon befriends Zach from the local MC club, The Night Watchers. Zach introduces her to Gavin, but soon realises that her father was involved in the murder of Gavin's sister, Greta. Kidnapped by the MC club, Gavin decides that he is going to take out his revenge on Zoey, to hurt her father like he was hurt when Zoey was murdered. Zoey has her own trauma to heal from, as her father had sexually assaulted for years. Not full penetration but she did have to take him orally! Gavin decides he has a better plan and that is to marry Zoey! Parade her around town as his old lady so the sheriff (Zoey's father) can see that she is with the MC club now. Zach and Gavin look after Zoey well. Another story with the big twist in the middle and Zoey having to do what is needed to survive. Once feelings are involved, it is a lot harder to let go, as Gavin and Zach decide that Zoey is theirs forever and a day!
10. Ghost of Us: This is Nadia, Desmond and Chases story Nadia leaves Boston and her stalker, Desmond behind. Going back to New York to be with her Brother, Dean and his best friend, Chase, she feels safe. Being banned from Social media so Desmond cannot find her, she is bored....so so bored!! So she opens a new Insta account and connects with Phantom. He promises her that he will find her and she is excited to meet her unknown masked stranger. Only he isn't a stranger at all! What a great story this is. Two broken people that find themselves together. Healing each other. But Phantom hides his true self behind a mask. He has watched and looked after Nadia since she was 18. So when she connects the dots and realises she knows who is behind the mask, she knows she needs to make him feel safe enough to reveal his true self. I loved this story so much. It is quite possibly my most favourite one in this anthology. There are more broken people around you than you realise, as Nadia finds herself face to face once again, with her stalker from Boston, Desmond! She soon realises that he has the look in his eyes that shows trauma, and both Chase and herself help him to survive. Then there were three. Desmond had suffered just as Chase had and Nadia realises that her love for him is just as strong as for Chase. Desmond was under the care of Psychiatrist, Aaron. As a year passes whilst Desmond is in care, Aaron soon finds that he has also developed feelings for Nadia! Ah What is not to love about a why choose romance with a few damaged trauma driven characters to keep things spicy! Then there were Four!! Yikes!! Loved Nadia and her harem of men as they all help heal each of of their trauma, and Survive!
In Where the Broken Bloom, ten stories trace the jagged paths of women who find their strength through submission and rise from the ashes, despite the anchors weighing them down. Here, the men, mafia kings, billionaires, bikers, bullies, and beasts are not destroyers but brutal knights in shining armor. Their strength is wrapped in obsession and devotion is forged in dominance; all are willing to bend the world to see their women rise.
This anthology feels like walking through ten different versions of heartbreak, obsession, devotion, and emotional ruin where every story explores women trying to survive the weight of trauma, grief, control, and self-destruction while finding connection in relationships that are anything but soft or traditional. Where the Broken Bloom leans fully into dark romance territory without trying to sanitize the possessiveness, dominance, or emotional dependency that defines so many of these relationships, and honestly, that’s what makes the collection feel so emotionally immersive.
What stood out to me most is how every story carries this underlying feeling of women trying to reclaim pieces of themselves after life has already taken so much from them. Even though the settings and tropes shift between mafia, bikers, billionaires, bullies, and darker obsessive dynamics, there’s still this emotional thread connecting all of them. The heroines feel emotionally fractured in different ways, but the stories consistently focus on survival, vulnerability, and the complicated process of allowing themselves to be wanted, protected, or loved after experiencing pain.
And the men in these stories are very much written for readers who love possessive, morally gray, obsessive MMCs who would absolutely burn the world down for the women they love. None of them are gentle in a traditional sense. Their devotion comes wrapped in control, dominance, violence, and intensity, but the anthology understands exactly how to make that emotional obsession feel consuming in the way dark romance readers look for. These aren’t relationships built on healthy communication and balance. They’re built on desperation, emotional need, loyalty, protection, and the overwhelming fear of losing the one person who makes the chaos feel survivable.
I also really appreciated how emotionally atmospheric the anthology feels as a whole. Even when the stories are shorter, there’s still this lingering heaviness underneath them that keeps the collection feeling cohesive instead of disconnected. A lot of the stories have this raw emotional ache running through them where the characters aren’t just fighting external threats, they’re battling shame, trauma, loneliness, grief, self-worth, and the parts of themselves they’ve buried to survive.
The obsession and devotion throughout the anthology honestly feel like two sides of the same coin. That’s something the collection handles really well. The men are often overwhelming in the way they love, protective to unhealthy extremes, emotionally consuming, and fully willing to cross lines for the women they choose. But underneath all of that intensity is this recurring idea that these women are finally being seen completely, including the broken parts they thought made them unlovable.
Because it’s an anthology, some stories will naturally hit harder than others depending on the kind of dark romance dynamics you personally gravitate toward, but overall the emotional tone stays incredibly consistent. If you enjoy darker romance that leans heavily into obsession, possessive devotion, damaged characters, emotionally heavy dynamics, and relationships that blur the line between salvation and destruction, there’s a very good chance this collection will work for you.
Overall, Where the Broken Bloom feels like a love letter to emotionally wrecked characters finding connection in the middle of chaos and darkness. It’s intense, emotionally messy, deeply obsessive, and full of characters who love in ways that are consuming rather than careful. If you enjoy dark romance anthologies packed with morally gray men, vulnerable heroines, emotional healing through possessive love, and stories that fully embrace the darker side of devotion, this is absolutely worth diving into.
As always be mindful of any trigger warnings, what I like you may not. Happy Reading! ✨📚
I love Millie! What a baddie add to it that she stoop up for herself and her men? I absolutely adored the baddie and the way Mak melted for her? 🫠 Even I became a puddle for him. Add Aiden and Oden to the mix and HOT damn! 🔥

Forever Yours
Tori and Orlando's story is rough! Tori only wants freedom and her family promised her to someone else when she was born so she runs away. Little does she know, they have kept tabs on her. When its time to tie the knot, Orlando goes to get her. This one had so many unexpected twists but one thing is certain, Tori is FOREVER his!

Broken Dolls
Sean is mean. Didn't like him much but he redeemed himself. Tito and Marc were sweet and amazing to Millie. I love how they looked after her and took care of her and the way they all stepped up to save the kids had me all melty.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶🌶.5
Protecting Peace
This one started off promising, Shayla and her boss, Lance end up together and it is truly a beautiful story, but I was disappointed by the ending. I felt it was incomplete. It could use an epilogue with a little info on how they are maybe 2 or 3 months in the future. I have questions on how they are after everything transpired. Is their little family okay?

The Price of Freedom
Damn! Sasha started her own poly harem with those men and they would do anything for her... curious if Rob and his wife ended up joining their group in the end or not? Super hot when they all got together.

Brutal Bliss
Talia is strong and feisty. I love how she calls Sean out for his behavior and I love how Maxim is a marshmallow for her. Her mom deserved to die, so did the rest of them.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶
Falling in Ashes
I loved Cora and Dawson's story. I hate what happened to both of them but my heart hurt for Dawson most but their story is so heartwarming and beautiful.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶🌶
Twisted Ties
Twisted story. I am a fan of the MMC's in this one. Reid is a douche but makes up for it. Cass was brutal but fair and Atlas whimpered. Enough said 😂 These men fell apart for her and it was so good to see.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶🌶🌶
Riding Freedom
Poor Greta didn't deserve to go out like that. Gavin is an ass who it turns out is a softie for his woman. Zach gives off such golden energy. Love his character and Zoey did what she had to in order to survive.

Ghost of Us
This one is my favorite favorite out of this whole anthology! Masked men, stalkers, heck yeah! I love how Nadia interacted with everyone. Her relationship with her brother is so sweet and the fact that he sees her as his bestie is amazing! Her relationship with Chase is so sweet, and how she helps Desmond makes her a strong FMC. Add in Dr Aaron and damn 🔥🔥🔥 she set shit on fire!
This entire book is fucking amazing. There are quite a few stories, so here is make take on some.
Falling in ashes
Read your trigger warnings! Let me start off by saying that Austin is a fucking idiot and not everything is as it seems. Nothing like having Methany as a mother. Coraline would have been better off as an orphan instead of being with her shit mom. I definitely wanted to scream at some points in this book, because like…WTF?? Rude. Anyway, Dawson is perfect. Always being there for Cora since day 1. Another friendly reminder, they say keep your enemies close, but…do with that what you will. 10/10
Protecting peace
Read your trigger warnings Dear Joe, you can suck on a cactus. Poor Shayla has had enough trauma caused that at this point she’s numb to it. Lance is who she needs to be able to see the light of day and her worth. Jennifer is utterly annoying and well, a cunt. Trevor can get fuckeddddd. I love how naturally Shay and Lance’s relationship blossoms and how dirty Lance can talk. Well paced story filled with trauma, spice, and a HEA. 10/10
The beast and his savage queen
Read your trigger warnings This one starts off in straight panick mode with a flashback to when everything truly went to shit for Millie. Uncle Leo utterly disgust me and makes me hella angry. Like the fuck is wrong with you dude? When Oden enters the chat, I thought to myself “ Hercules 😍” why Hercules? Beats me, but he’s out here saving hoes. Mak is zaddy and zaddy is Mak. He was quite the dickhead but as we know dicks can be soft too. Ha. Puns. Aiden reminds me of Mighty Mouse and I don’t know why lol aside from him being a short king. He’s the emotion that Millie and Mak especially needs to keep them grounded. Some moments in the book are rough so be prepared, but know it’s a HEA so you won’t cry the whole time 😂 10/10
Where the Broken Bloom by Emily Klepp is hands down one of the most emotionally gripping anthologies I have read in a long time. With ten full length stories packed into one collection, every single one delivered intensity, emotion, passion, and characters that completely pulled me into their worlds.
What stood out the most to me was the emotional depth woven into every story. These characters are broken in different ways, but none of them are weak. The women are fierce, resilient, and beautifully complex, while the men are written with just as much vulnerability and emotional weight. Emily Klepp continues to prove that strength and softness can coexist, and she does an incredible job showing healing through love, patience, loyalty, and devotion.
The variety throughout the anthology kept everything feeling fresh and addictive. Every story brought its own unique dynamic and atmosphere, yet they all carried the same emotionally consuming energy that made it impossible to stop reading. I constantly found myself saying “just one more chapter” and suddenly hours had passed.
I also really appreciated how Emily Klepp continues to push beyond common stereotypes within romance. The emotional struggles are not limited to the female characters, and the way trauma, anxiety, and healing are explored across both men and women adds so much depth to these stories. It made the relationships feel more authentic and impactful.
To read nearly 1500 pages in such a short amount of time says everything about how captivating this anthology truly is. Emily Klepp’s writing continues to get stronger and more memorable with every release, and this collection is absolutely one to remember. Her creativity, emotional storytelling, and ability to create unforgettable characters deserve so much praise.
Overall, this was a phenomenal read from beginning to end and an easy 5 star rating. An unforgettable anthology that completely deserves the recognition it is getting and SO MUCH MORE!
Where the Broken Bloom, by Emily Klepp, is a dark romance anthology featuring multiple stories exploring the profound intersection of trauma, submission, and the reclamation of self. Through the interconnected lives of women tethered to the shadows of the underworld, the stories present the archetypal “monsters” mafia lords, bikers, billionaires, and bullies as instruments of protection and liberation.
Although each story is different, they all feature trauma that has pushed these women to their absolute limit. Rather than being broken further by these “monsters” they are challenged to surrender. By doing so, they gain vital resources, such as protection and sanctuary, to fight their own demons. The various men show traits like possessiveness, which is portrayed as a form of unwavering loyalty. Their obsession isn’t with the destruction of the women, but with their rise.
The process of healing is not linear, and it can be messy and sometimes even violent, but it is always emotional. There is no cut-and-dried happily ever after. This is no fairy tale. Here, the achievement of a stable, secure reality where she is finally allowed to dictate her own terms is true happiness.
This one is THICK, but completely worthwhile. There are many triggers, so please proceed with care. I would expect nothing less from Emily Klepp.
Thanks to Emily Klepp for gifting me an eARC of Where the Broken Bloom. I am leaving this review voluntarily. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This anthology is very dark and filled with heavy, triggering material so please take care and check the warnings before diving in.
Made up of twelve stories, this collection highlights the strength and resilience of women as they survive trauma and fight to reclaim their power. It’s brutal at times, but also incredibly satisfying to watch these women rise, take back control, and ultimately get their revenge and their HEAs.
Alongside them are a range of morally grey (and darker) men—mafia, billionaires, bikers, bullies, and beasts—who, despite their flaws, are fiercely loyal and protective. These are the kind of characters who would burn the world down to see the women they love come out on top.
There’s so much variety in this anthology, with a mix of dynamics including why choose, reverse harem, MF, MM, and more, there really is something for everyone.
While the focus is on women’s survival and strength, I also appreciated how some stories explored male trauma as well, highlighting that these experiences are not limited to one gender.
Where the Broken Bloom is not an easy read, but it is a powerful one. The structure of twelve separate stories also makes it easier to take breaks when needed, which I’d definitely recommend for some people given the intensity.
A tough, emotional, but ultimately empowering anthology.
This is an emotionally intense dark romance anthology that completely pulled me in from the first page. Every story felt unique while carrying the same addictive atmosphere filled with obsession, healing, devotion and resilience. The emotional depth of the characters, especially the women who fought through trauma, betrayal and heartbreak without losing their spirit stood out tremendously. Emily Klepp does an incredible job showing emotional vulnerability of her male characters as well, making the relationships feel raw, messy, and deeply real.
Although it was quite lengthy, I didn't want to stop reading. The pacing, chemistry, emotional tension, and high spice kept me fully invested through every story. This anthology is dark emotional, and absolutely unforgettable.
Please, please, PLEASE check the trigger warnings before you dive in. If you love emotionally charged dark romance with protective, obsessive heroes and strong heroines, this is a must read. Easy 5 star read for me.
⚠️ First of all, y’all know the drill. It’s an Emily book so y’all need to read and check those triggers before diving in
🖤 Emily, ma’am ‘ wtf!? 😂 One second you have me sobbing and angry, then the next hot and bothered, then giggling then back to hot and bothered, and that was all in the first book😭! I can’t imagine how the rest of it is going to be. I felt like I was a roller coaster that I couldn’t get off of but at the same time I was right where I wanted t be lmao. Ok and I’ve lost count of the amount of times I said “holy fucking shit” because holy fucking shit, the plot twists! The entire antho is a 5/5 I couldn’t put these stories down. In this antho you’ll get a mix of mafia, why choose, brothers best friend/s, arranged marriage and all the spice. You will not be disappointed, Emily did her thing with these and by far have to be some of my favorite stories. Also, don’t be intimidated by the length of the book, I promise you won’t even notice it while reading each story.
This collection is a compelling read, comprising ten engaging stories that are truly exceptional. Each narrative is captivating and a page-turner, making it an opportunity you wouldn't want to miss.
The narratives showcased a profoundly impactful exploration of each character's journey, throughly crafting a sense of hope and resilience in the face of trauma, and illuminating the powerful paths to healing and recovery, all while skillfully balancing intense emotional depth with spicy romance.
I'm deeply love Emily's books, which are masterfully crafted. This one's gripping narrative had me staying up late ,but the journey was so impactful, it was well worth every moment.
This book takes readers on a heartfelt journey, woven with a diverse array of narratives. It provides something for everyone, highlighting a rich variety of characters and captivating dynamics. While Broken Bloom may present some challenges, it is undeniably a powerful read. The twelve distinct stories are thoughtfully organized, offering convenient breaks for those who may find the intensity overwhelming something I highly recommend. Emily has skillfully crafted each tale, truly excelling in her storytelling! Just be sure to look for trigger warnings.
Whew!! This one is a chonker! At over 1400 pages, it was a long story. Not one story but multiple different stories but my goodness they were so good!!! My favorites are the beast and his savage queen, forever yours, protecting peace, and falling in ashes. There are many good moments. Not only how swoon worthy some of the guys were, but also how amazing these women were. Especially in His savage queen!! Lord she was perfection!!!! There are a lot of good stories but they arent all equal. Some imo were better than others. I enjoyed this anthology and again mind the tws.
A collection of delightfully dark stories, what more could one ask for?
If you love mafia and billionaire stories, then this book is highly recommended!
The best thing about these various stories is that the dangerous men aren't so dangerous when it comes to the one they love. Of course, they do things to their loved ones that aren't entirely above board, but fortunately, the FMCs are incredibly strong because of everything they have been through.
Please read the trigger warnings before reading this! There is a lot going on here.
I think this is my favorite of Emily Klepp's books so far. One story would end, and it was so easy to just fall into the next one. Twelve stories back to back kept me absorbed and coming back for more for days. These stories have everything and more, but absolutely amazing. High spice, high dark, so be careful, but please go get a copy of this.
Story after story Emily Klepp delivers an emotional, gripping work that weaves her signature ability to bring trauma, strong women, protective men, and a healing that gives hope to those who experience their own darkness. Emily put together an impressive anthology each story different in their emotional triggers and the ways they cope, and what caused their traumas. But yet one thing remains the same it was still a read I couldn't put down.
Where The Broken Bloom is a collection of eleven stories where women who have been broken and beaten down find strength and resilience along with a man or men to help them learn how to stand on their feet. I enjoyed all of the different stories, but I’m not sure I could pick any one to be a favorite. Be aware of triggers before you read this collection, as with any of Emily’s books they will push you.
This anthology is dark so please read the trigger warnings before starting. This whole anthology had me so hooked i couldnt focus on anything else because it kept playing on my mind if i had to put it down. The fmc in these stories is so so strong and the mmc are delicious but so devoted to their women too. This anthology is highly addictive so prepare to get nothing else done while your reading
Where the Broken Bloom is a bunch of short stories and each one has trauma, love and finding one self. I was hooked with the first one and knew that I couldn't stop reading and had to finish this one. Where the Broken Bloom really pulls at the heartstrings and Emily is amazing at what she does. This is not for the faint of heart, and is definitely dark. Read your trigger warnings.
Wow! This anthology was amazing! Each story was wonderful and a step closer to the authors ultimate goal:) To talk about each story I’d be here for a while let’s just say check your triggers. There are mafia, billionaire, reverse harem, mc, and stalker romances in this book. So have fun!
I received an advanced review copy for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
What an amazing anthology of stories!!! Definitely check your trigger warnings as each story has its own brand of trauma that our FMC's and MMC's deal with. Usually in anthologies there is 1 maybe 2 stories that are just chef's kiss, but in this...it's ALL of them.
This whole book was absolutely insane and on fire. Each story there was darkness, strength and a little bit of spice. Okay not a little bit of spice but A LOT of it. Hands down was an absolutely amazing read.
Spent the day reading this bad boy!!! My eyes are tired I will write more tomorrow I’m a fan of Emily’s and I feel she takes the horrible situation that happen to her FMC s and handles them with the utmost care and their healing is cathartic. No one does this better than her!
This book was such a great read. There are a few stories in this one so some time is needed to complete them but I promise you they are all worth the read. Each story is full of emotions and so much more that you are pulled into each one.
