I came into this not knowing anything about the series it is a prequel for. I though that it looked interesting and the the art really caught my eye. The story is a decent vampire tale but nothing earth shattering. It did pique my interest enough to look into the sereis on Audible.

Spies and vampires
A short and compelling story about Penelope's beginning in the world of vampires. She lived through a lot and I totally understand her revenge plan, I would have done the same if I was a woman in the 1940s.

Simply not long enough. But it was nice to learn more about Penelope. I can’t find any more of the comics. I’d love one about Whisper.
