The Omega Book Club #5

A Pack of Leather

Rate this book
#1 Bestselling Author Veronica Samek

Winnie never expected forever to bite back.

She’s watched all her friends bond with their mates. She’s happy for them, but if she’s being honest, a little lonely. A weekend bachelorette trip for her sister’s wedding only makes that loneliness harder to ignore.

During a terrifying moment at a nightclub, an alpha steps in to protect her. He’s tall, forbidding, covered in tattoos and leather. His scent crashes into hers like fate. He’s the match she never thought she’d find.

But things get messy. Winnie is accidentally bitten. Panicked, she flees back to Lakeside Point, desperate to reclaim the life she had before. Instead, she finds herself consumed by a bond she never asked for.

As if that weren’t complicated enough, the town’s sheriff, her quiet and steady neighbor, was once the dominant alpha of the pack her biter belongs to.

Now he must summon his old pack and face a past he never healed. And Winnie must decide if she can forgive the sheriff, his pack, and the bond itself, or if it’s already too late.

A Pack of Leather is a cozy but spicy small-town omegaverse romance featuring accidental bites, biker alphas, and a sweet omega who refuses to stop believing in love. HEA guaranteed.

This standalone romance is part of the Omega Book Club series. Each book can be read on its own, but reading in order adds extra fun with recurring cameos and light spoilers.

Ugh this book was so cute. I loved seeing a broken pack find its way back together thanks to Winnie. She was so sweet and I've been looking forward to her book since the beginning. This book also made me cry at heartbreaking moments, wishing things could be different. I can't wait to read this author's future books.

okay the final (?) book of the omega book club and again, truly a masterpiece. since book ONE i was waiting for sweet winnie’s story and i actually loved that it was last- one of the best things about this series and is that it can be really easy to fall into the trap of omegaverse/RH tropes with the characters and plot lines but this series is always so inventive with each book and the characters and plot lines
i loved that the pack were all tattoo artists (minus corbin) and the underlying conflict was so devastating that when i found out i teared up a bit
truly a warm and cozy series full of hot men and boyfriends with heats, ruts, and lots of groveling always (by the men ofc) so what’s not to love??
veronica is a must read author for me and i love getting arcs bc i was truly impatient for every book in this series

*spoilers

can we talk about the accidental bite??? i don’t consider myself new to the omegaverse but how have i never read an accidental bite situation??? it was amazing

overall: 5/5
spice: 3.5/5

4.75 ⭐️ One of my favourites in the series!

This whole series has been such a amazing find, and I've been loving the stories and the writing.

At first, I will admit that seeing that cover, I thought I'd for sure forget at least 2 of the alphas exist lol. And now, here I am having only one complaint, and it's that I wanted Nick to be there too!! Seriously, that's mostly why I've taken down that .15 from the rating.

The grief aspect of this book was so unexpected and hard-hitting that I was having a hard time processing it. Me. I'm not in the book. But I kept thinking that there's no way Nick's just gone. WE NEVER EVEN MEET HIM ON THE PAGE!

I don't know, maybe I'm going through some things, and they're making me think things, but I thought we'd get maybe a nod from the beyond or something!!!

Overall, though, really enjoyable, cozy and veeeery omegaverse (aka spicy).

ARC Review

I really loved this book I literally read it in day. I enjoyed the controversial start with the accidental bond compared to the first books in the series.

I would’ve preferred if we could’ve learnt a bit more about Eli’s backstory about why he wears the mask and has issues with sound as well as a bit more detail into his and Rafe’s relationship.

I liked the complex relationship between Corbin and the rest of the pack, how they learnt to forgive each other. I would’ve enjoyed a bit more detail into how they rebuilt their relationship and learnt to trust each other again especially between Corbin and Gage; I would’ve also enjoyed more insight into Nick and his relationship with Rafe I feel like that was especially skipped over quite quickly, but I loved the tribute Winnie paid to him and how we still felt like he was a part of their story.

I will say I didn’t really enjoy some of the nicknames one MMC called her ‘softness’ there was no context provided as to why and it feels a bit random to me. Another called her ’Blossom’ which isn’t a favourite either but this series has a recurring theme with usual nicknames.

Overall I will say I loved this book although it felt a bit rushed at times however it was a perfect way to complete the series and is a great read.

I’m so excited to see what Veronica comes up with next! Thank you for the advanced copy!

Winnie's story is a sweet as I expected 💗

This was absolutely adorable with a twinge of heartbreak thrown in 🥹
A Pack of Pumpkins pulled on my heartstrings but this one yanked them a bit harder 😩
Clara at least got to know and experience her long gone mate. Poor Winnie never got the chance and you can feel all the pack's sorrow over that 🥺
I really enjoyed that Winnie ended up with a pack that no one would have expected. I also really like that they were written to be more than even the most readers would have expected.
It's a classic, don't judge a book by its cover, situation and I can dig it 💗
I'm also REALLY happy that Veronica wrote a FMC who isn't just a POC but a black POC!
It's so rare that I see that from a lot of OV writers.
She also did it WONDERFULLY. There were no typical stereotypes places on the character. But there was also thought into little things like hair care! That alone made this worth the read for me 💗
Winnie wasn't this sass mouthed, aggressive, or alpha-like character that a lot of people write black POC women as.
She's soft and sweet and only wants the people around her to be happy 💗
Absolutely amazing
Seriously, one of her alphas actually calls her "Softness" 🥹
Sooooo dang cute!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 📚 overall story

This is the sixth and final installment of “The Omega Book Club” series. (I am so sad this series is over, I loved it so much!)

This book follows Winnie who lives in Lakeside Point (a small cozy town) and she has seen all her friends find their own pack. Winnie is a bit of a hopeless romantic and has been flirting with the town’s sheriff who also seems to be flirting back but is very reserved.

One night she goes to another town for her sisters bachelorette party and bonds with an unknown Alpha. The two of them exchange bites and Winnie freaks out and heads back home. It turns out that the pack this mysterious Alpha belonged to was actually the Sheriff’s old pack and he was their dominant Alpha.

I absolutely loved everything about this book! The angst was perfectly written but it still felt cozy. I loved how all the hero’s had very distinct personalities and they all complimented our heroine perfectly. This entire series was so much fun to read and I loved seeing all the side characters in this book as well.

I am so sad this series is over! I will say this one was one of my favorites.

Ok, how cute was that?!?! I’m a huge fan of this series, so when the ARC came I was so excited. I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for Winnie’s story. This series is just the right blend of character development, world building, spice, and humor that I’m looking for in my omegaverse books. If you are looking for a closed door/fade to black series, this does have quite a bit of spice. But, it’s healthy, consensual relationships where the characters respect each other. This was a quick read, but so much fun. Extra props goes to the development of Eli and how the pack supports him.

。˚. 🌺I was kindly sent an ARC Copy 🌺。˚.

Another great addition to the Omega Book Club series! I wanted to savour every single moment with this book so took my time reading it. I fell in love with Eli, I adored seeing how everyone interacted with him and was there when he needed them. That one moment with Winnie’s mum at a family dinner had me smiling so much, it was such a beautiful and sweet moment of understanding and acceptance.

And the scene in the woods with helmets omg I was hooked, stayed up way too late enjoying it! Winnie had a spicy side which I didn’t expect! Neither did her men which was very fun to see!

Deputy is adorable and again the support he gave Eli from the get go was so sweet and I just loved seeing them together. Any moment with that dog had me smiling like an idiot!
Overall I am once again in love with this series and I can’t get enough of these characters! There was so much growth and love in this and I adored every second of it!

Oh my goodness each one kept getting better and better. I love that each pack is perfect for the omega, and Winnie’s pack is no difference. But the first meal together had me laughing on the support from the book club 😂. And cried happy tears for the nest, that was perfect. Oh and the spider 😂😂😂😂😂. I am really sad that this was the last of the girls from the book club packing up, but excited to see what else Veronica Samek has next! Fingers crossed more omegaverse… (life of Stella, right? 😉😂)

Thank you to Veronica for giving me an ARC for my honestly review. I need to go reread the whole series now again to see if any Easter eggs come up that I overlooked.

The Best One Yet

Winnie has always been my favorite omega in this series, and being able to finally read her story really solidified that!

All of Winnie’s alfas are lovable in their own way (I have a soft spot for Eli) and really love the representation of ages, race, and ability. I also feel represented in this book in the form of Eli, Samek did a wonderful job explaining Eli’s sensory issues without delving into his mental health or diagnosis.

The passage of time in this book isn’t super overwhelming like it can be in some omegaverse books where you can never tell if it’s weeks or months, it flows well and you don’t have to go back and forth trying to figure out where in a timeline they are.

This is a quick read of you are like me and constantly think about what’s next when you put the book down. I believe I finished it in 4.5hours!

- I really enjoy these omega book club stories. They are sweet and spicy, and so easy to read.
- If you like why choose (MMFMMM), accidental bonding, forced proximity, masked primal play and heat care.
- I love that this has a unique twist on a pack finding their omega trope. It warmed my heart to see Winnie heal the Blackline pack.
- The men are very different from one another. I particularly enjoyed learning about Eli and his sensory sensitivities.

- I think the men stole the show! Winnie is very sweet and she has a big loving family, but unfortunately she is a bit forgettable for me.
- I kept waiting for a little excitement with the sketchy puppy mill owner, but alas this is a fluffy and low angst story.

The final book of “omegas book club”. Takes place on the west coast or northern Michigan, south of Traverse City. Winnie is our final omega to find her pack, which she does when she accidentally bites her scent match at her sisters bachelorette party. The remainder of the book is of Winnie getting to know each of her mates and helping them heal past trauma. It is a sweet ending to this series.

Lots of “getting to know you” smeggsy time, ending with a heat and bonding the remainder of the pack.

Loved it

Was a perfect addition to the series, Winnie took her broken men & made them as whole as possible again. Some omegas are fierce, and while thats usually my cup of tea, something about Winnies peace just felt right. Also adored the ND representation & easy acceptance of his needs, as someone ND myself it was great to see

Accidental mating bites end up being the catalyst to bringing a broken pack back together. All because of one very special omega. I loved everything about this book. I would totally reread it again because of all the different levels of emotional that are unraveled. This very well may be my favorite book of the series.

⭐️ 4.5/5 (rounded up)
🌶️ 4/5

- This is my first Samek read, I tried reading the first one of the series but couldn’t get into it (pretty sure because of a slump so I’ll try again in the near future). But I’m so glad I gave this one a try. I loved it! The characters are well-written, the grief grips your heart, and I love how inclusive the author is with diversity in her characters.
- I loved all of the alphas but Eli is definitely my favorite. I think it might be mostly because I relate the most with him. I have high social anxiety and get overwhelmed really easily, and idk, his character made me feel seen (in a positive way).
- I actually really liked the FMC. There was maybe two ehh moments where I was like “girl what..” but they were minor and I enjoyed her character overall.
- I won’t lie, I was iffy on the spice at first because it seemed like it would start and end too soon, but I actually really enjoyed the spice from chapter 19 and on.
- Tattoo artist alpha pack who rides motorcycles, hellloooo what’s not to like??😍😍
- The spider shenanigans had me cackling (with a tooth abscess so that’s a feat in its own!) Super hilarious and loved every minute of it.🤣
- Overall a low angst book. It’s cozy and refreshing.🥰

- Some inconsistencies. Zeke has green eyes and is stated so a few times and then during one scene it states he has blue eyes. In chapter 39 Gage asks “why’re you sorry, dulzura?” But Gage calls her princess and Rafe calls her dulzara. This doesn’t really bother me. I more so wanted to add just in case the author is checking reviews for possible errors.

🏍️ A Pack of Leather 🏍️

The final book in the Omegas Book Club series has arrived, A Pack of Leather features out girl Winnie and her Pack. As always, I recommend reading a series in order but each book can be read as a standalone in the interconnected world. This is a cozy omegaverse romance set in a small-town in northern Michigan where Omega’s find that small-town life isn’t as small-town as it seems when you have the right people around you.

Winnie is the last member of the Omega Book Club to find her pack, she sees what her friends have and loves it for them, but she wants it for herself as well. The small-town of Lakeside Point is her home, she has family and friends here, but Winnie isn’t sure her pack is there, or at least not all of them. Her long time crush on the Sheriff, Corbin is clearly not going anywhere, Winnie isn’t even sure if he likes her or not, but she is drawn to him. During her sister’s bachelorette party, at a nightclub no less, Winnie finds herself just wanting to go home. This isn't her scene, she prefers the comforts of home over the loud noise of the club, but for her sister she tries her best to enjoy herself. But bad goes to worse when an alpha she doesn't know man-handles her and starts to harass her. When another alpha steps in to help her, his scent crashes into her, sending them both into a frenzy and they end up biting and bonding one another. Winnie does the one thing her body does remember, she runs. When she returns home she is frightened and scared, she doesn’t know who the alpha is or even if wants her, and she definitely isn't ready for the bond sickness when it kicks in. When Corbin comes to check on her, he finds her in a state, but with one smell he knows who the alpha is, who the Pack is. His Pack, the one he abandoned. Gage, Rafe, Zeke and Eli make up Blackline Pack, a pack that Corbin used to be the dominant alpha of, now there is nothing but bad memories. But maybe, just maybe, Winnie can be the band-aid that starts to heal them.

I love this series! While I’m sad to see it come to an end, I know that the author has more in store for us. Winnie and her Pack have a bumpy beginning, but slowly they learn to forgive and learn from the mistakes of the past. Each member of the pack has differences that fuel the others and at the center of all of it is their Omega, Winnie. There were of course times that were confusing and overwhelming, but this author has an amazing capacity to infuse emotions into all of her books. Eli is my favorite, his quiet nature and soulful words, Gage was a harder sell because he warmed up last, but they do save, save the best for last. The acceptance from Winnie’s family to the Pack spoke volumes and was really what landed her choice for her I think. Overall, loved the book and can’t wait to see what this author gives us next.

My heart is so sad that this series is over now! I’m happy that Winnie finally got her story because our soft girl deserves the whole world. It feels bittersweet to leave these characters and this little cosy town but I’m super excited to see what Veronica comes up with next!

˚❀ . ˚ ✦ ✿ . ˚ .   ˚ ✿. ˚ ❀
. ˚✦ .  ✿ ˚ ❀ * ˚ ❀ ✦ ˚ .

❁ I feel bad for having any kind of criticisms for this book, because this series does have a special place in my heart and it always will. That being said, I just kind of wanted more? There was amazing set up for angst that I didn’t feel lasted long enough. The devastating event that let to this pack fissuring into different pieces fell a bit flat. We had the tension between Gage and Corbin. Gage had been forced to step up in Corbin’s absence. You can see the pain of holding what was left of their pack together etched deep into his bones. He fit himself into a position that harmed him for so long just to accept Corbin’s apology so swiftly. I believe Corbin is definitely deserving of forgiveness, because we all deal with traumatic events differently. But their interpersonal issues melted away pretty quickly, as if years of trauma hadn’t even happened.

❁ If you like sweet Omegaverse books with low angst then you will absolutely have no issues with this. It’s just a personal thing for me. My favourites in the series: A Pack of Honey and A Pack of Pumpkins had just the right amount of angst. So it’s not that this was bad, not in any stretch of the imagination, it was more that this book didn’t work as well for me personally than others in this series.

❁ The positives outweigh the negatives massively! The humour in this book was great. I highlighted so many lines of dialogue and the spider scene genuinely had me laughing. Winnie is my girl and all I ever wanted for her was for her to find happiness! The MMC’s were great, Eli has my heart and soul. I felt his pain deep in my bones. As an autistic person I related a lot to him. Whilst he may not be named as an autistic character, he’s very much neurodivergent coded and that representation free from bias and prejudice was refreshing.

❁ My heart warmed the most when we had all the packs spending time together, it felt like seeing old friends. When the characters have lives outside of the books it makes them feel so much more alive. Cole is my all time favourite and I will not apologise! I know he’s Sunny’s but he always has me giggling and kicking my feet any time he makes an appearance.

❁ I would hands-down recommend this series to anyone who enjoys Omegaverse, especially those maybe newer to it, like I was when I first started this series. It’s easy to understand and doesn’t feel overwhelming. Beware though it’s a slippery slope and you will end up consuming more like you need them to survive 😂

Y’all. I don’t know how not to make this review a whole freaking book report (NO SPOILERS I promise! I don’t want River Song coming after me!)

First of all, Pack of Leather is steamier than the previous books and I am here for it! Some of the scenes were so hot they kicked off a hot flash, so if you’re in that stage of life, grab your fan and your ice tea and buckle up. I need to be vague to avoid a spoiler, but one scene had the safety conscious part of me screaming in my mind “what are you thinking?!” while a whole other part of me was thinking “ooh girl, get it!”

Now let’s get the thing that had me on tenterhooks out of the way: how do you ACCIDENTALLY BITE SOMEONE?!?!?!? There is an answer, and it’s a good one. Now that that’s out of the way…

Although the oops bite is admittedly Not The Way, I love how the alpha uses the bond to advocate for Winnie, but not to spy on her (I’m curious how he feels being on the other end of the bond during some activities.) And despite the inauspicious beginning, this is one part instalove, one part slow burn, one part he falls first, one part forced proximity and ALL hot, sweet, and steamy. The relationships develop largely organically, with some relationships developing more quickly than others, but that feels natural with a pack of five, and one that has recently experienced trauma.

One of the things I love about Veronica Samek’s books is the balance between enough conflict for an interesting story but not so much that it imbues its anxieties into the reader, and another is – they’re funny. There are so many amusing moments that made me laugh out loud (much to the annoyance of the teenager sitting on the couch), but The Spider was possibly my loudest laugh (okay, I snorted like a pig digging for truffles)

Other things I love:
♥ Winnie’s family’s family boundaries and the bride not being a B
♥ that these books don’t follow the kind of formula that gets repetitive and makes every book feel like the same thing with different names.
♥ there is always an Alpha with “golden retriever” energy, there’s always a cinnamon roll, there’s always caretakers, and there’s always… well, this pack is actually missing something the others have, but as River would say “spoilers.”
♥ this book gives us more insight into the mate bond, even though it’s an incomplete one
♥ a good balance between the trauma that needs to be healed, and not having insta-reconciliation, but not dragging it out to ridiculous lengths
♥ Eli’s tattoo (the first one described). I have some things in common with him, and the tattoo design deeply resonated with me like this.
♥ Last but definitely not least - The Omega Book Club are ride or dies, they’re their own pack – or as Winnie called them… (spoiler)

I’m really hoping that some of the other omegas mentioned means that there’s another Lakeside Point Omegas series coming, because as excited as I am to get all the book club omegas’ stories, I will go into withdrawal without another Veronica Samek Cozy Omega book. Well, not withdrawal per se because I have the entire series, and even though I’m reading this as an ARC (because did you catch that I’m not a patient person?) I will also be buying the book once it’s released, but there’s a special excitement of reading someone’s story for the first time that I also want to experience. And does anyone else think about how you’d decorate a nest if you were an omega in the cozyverse?

The only negative in this book was that there was no discussion in this book about whether or not to use condoms, whether Winnie’s on BC, etc. Maybe I’m not remembering correctly, but I could swear all the previous packs used condoms when they had sex pre-bonding.

Okay, now to decide whether to go back to Pack of Cozy and work my way through the series in order or reread Pack of Leather immediately (I’m leaning toward the latter).

Happy, happy reading y’all.

I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review

The final book in the Omega’s Book Club series has unfortunately (or fortunately) cause I was dying for Winnie’s book, let’s be honest , has arrived. A Pack of Leather features our amazing FMC Winnie and her pack! She is the last in her friend group to find her pack, but again, the best is always saved for last!

I love, love, loved her story. It might be my favorite out of the series, to be honest. Don’t get me wrong, I loved them all, but this one has such a special place in my heart. Starting, seeing her relationship with Corbin, the Sheriff already had me giggling and kicking my feet. They’re both unsure of whether the other likes them.

We meet our second MMC at the nightclub, where our accidental bonding takes place. She’s exhausted, over it, and just wants to go home, and when another Alpha she doesn’t know starts to harass her, our MMC pops in, and with emotions running high, they both accidentally bond with each other.

Corbin is the first she turns to when she gets home, and is scared and sick with bond sickness. When he finds her and scents her, he knows exactly who it was. We then meet our other MMCs, Zeke, Eli, Gage, and Rafe. They make up the Blackline Pack. We then received the lore on what went down between Corbin and the guys and why they’re connected.

This whole book was amazing. Deputy was the best pup ever, helping Eli. And I mean, who doesn’t love a Masked Main Male Character? I know I do. Everything about this book grabbed me and didn’t let go. I am so sad to see this series end, and I really, really hope she does more Omegaverses in the future. I definitely recommend it if you want a book that grabs you, refuses to let go, and makes you giggle and kick your feet. It’s so worth it.

The Lovely: This was adorably cute with cozy but spring vibes. I loved how the FMC took responsibility for her part in the accidental bonding, and how she adapted to the needs of the neurodivergent pack member. She had unique relationships with each of the pack members, although the one with the dominant pack alpha might be my favorite. And the spider scene had me cackling. IYKYK.

Recommendation: As a standalone, the characters did get their (very sweet) HEA. We do see a fair amount of the omegas we met in prior books so their stories are a bit spoiled if you read this book first. If you’re in the mood for a cozy spring, small town omegaverse romance where the omega tries to bring the pack together, I think you would like this book.

Cute. Extremely cute, in fact.

This book kept showing up in my feed as recommended, even though I hadn't read the other 5 books in the series, and I have no complaints. I think it satisfied the void after reading Kathryn Moon's Sweetverse series, Baby and the Late Night Howlers and Lola and the Millionaires. If you have not already read them, and this book calls to you, I would highly recommend them to be your next (more intense) read!

A Pack of Leather was a gift I did not know I needed. I cred. I croyd? I crieded. A completely unexpected reaction for a series that, just like many characters, reeked of sweetness with edged undertones that melded together into creating harmoniously flawed characters and a horrific beginning.

Some spoilers in this part, skip if you don't want it:
I have never read a book where an MMC had passed away (pre-story start). I was realizing, along with FMC the tragedy of what could have been. The complicated emotion of a lost love you have never met. The beautiful gift of his art on their pack space and over her heart. I am getting bleary-eyed just thinking about it.

Clara's book story, possible spoiler:
This was a beautiful journey. I plan on going back to the beginning and reading book 1 so I can get to know the rest of the book club. I am especially interested in the... alpha ghost apparently haunting Clara's story? Like... what's that about lol?

Winnie is a wonderful fmc. She is kind and patient and has her own wicked edge, the waterstone necessary to smooth out the dulled edges of the B-pack to connect them all back together.

There were parts of the book that felt incomplete or rushed. I think this book could have benefited more from some world-building that I am sure was established in books 1-5, but if it's marketed as a standalone, I think it should be able to stand on its own feet. The universe seems to surround the characters that were introduced in the last books and that's about it. Other than the initial uhhh "meet cute" of the accidental bite there was no real conflict. I kept anticipating it with the puppy mill owner, but it never came. Is this possibly the tone of the series or a setup for a book for the new deputy?

You ever start at book six in a series, then have to immediately go back to the beginning and read book one?! No, just me?! 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣 No, but really! This book was so good and is book six of The Omega Book Club series, but can be read as a complete standalone. Although, you may want to go read the other five books in the series once you’re done! 🙋🏼‍♀️ This one is about Winnie, a sunshine omega, who has watched all her friends find their packs, bond and live happily ever after. Although, happy for her friends, she is lonely. When away at her sister’s bachelorette party, she is cornered by an alpha who won’t take no for an answer, but is saved by another alpha, smelling like leather & covered in tattoos. Things get a bit messy and bites are exchanged. She panics, and runs back home to Lakeside Point. The town’s sheriff comes to check on Winnie, only to find that she is bonded, and to his old pack, no less. Now, he must summon his old pack and face the past that none of them have healed or moved on from. Things will get even more messy, before they begin to get better.

Thank you Veronica Samek for the ARC!

A Pack of Leather is the last book in the Omega Bookclub series, and follows Winnie in finding her fated mates. While it can be easily read as a standalone, reading the other books in the series will give you a lot of context in side characters and the whole small town setting.

This OV starts out if order, with an accidental mating bite before the characters have even time to talk. It was super interesting to see how the relationship evolves from complete distrust to acceptance, to love.

The cast of characters is pretty diverse, with complex inter pack relationships that make the HEA like a really earned conclusion rather than an obvious one.

With five alphas, some of them get a bit less page time, but still, each one is well characterized and it's always clear who is talking, or who we are dealing with.

Contrary to previous books in the series, here the plot heavily revolves around the romance, and the acceptance of others as they are, forgiving each other for previous mistakes and learning to move on from the past.

There's plenty of spice in this one, but it works well with the building relationship, and gives some more insights into the different characters' personalities and their relationships.

Overall, this was a great ending to the series, giving us some more insight into the other omega's lives and delivering a super sweet conclusion to the series.

The last unbonded lady in the OBC is up and Winnie's path is...not exactly easy. While she was definitely ready for a pack, the fact her bite was unplanned throws her for a loop. (And for the record, Zeke was just as wrecked by the unplanned bite as Winnie was. It was a surprise all around!)

So, a bachelorette trip Winnie isn't exactly thrilled with (because while she loves her sister, she's not big on clubbing and the other things her sis and crew are into) leads to the aforementioned unplanned bite. Which went both ways, by the way. Zeke bit her and she bit him and BOOM bonded. Except, Winnie takes off and the guys don't know who she is or how to find her. Which is problematic since Zeke and Winnie both need one another after the bite.

Yeah, things are complicated. They get a little better when Sheriff Corbin realizes what Winnie's going through AND recognizes the scent of the alpha who bit her. Now he's dealing with some heavy baggage as he reconnects with his old pack. Because, you know, taking care of his omega is more important that nursing old hurts. Honestly, those hurts did run deep. For all the men in the pack. They all have to deal with the thing that divided them if they hope to have a future with Winnie.

Five alphas, one omega, and a whole lot of meeting in the middle. *thumbs up* all around.
