Reclaim: Self-Love and Sacred Truth for Revolutionary Black Women

Rate this book
Reclaim is an invitation for Black women to return to themselves—without guilt, without performance, and without apology. This book is for women who are outwardly strong but inwardly tired, successful yet longing for deeper peace, clarity, and alignment.

Reclaim offers culturally grounded affirmations, reflections, and grounding practices designed to support healing, self-worth, boundaries, and rest—especially in seasons of transition, reinvention, or burnout.

Inside this book, you’ll

Culturally rooted affirmations
Affirmations written specifically for Black women that acknowledge lived experience, emotional labor, and resilience.
They feel honest, affirming, and grounded—not generic or performative.

Guided reflections for self-love and healing
Short, thoughtful prompts that help you reconnect with yourself and release internalized expectations.
Designed for daily use or quiet moments of reflection.

Boundary-setting without guilt
Supportive language and reminders that help you say no, protect your energy, and choose yourself.
Especially helpful for women who have been conditioned to overgive.

Rest as a sacred practice
Encouragement to slow down and honor rest as necessary, not something you must earn.
Grounding practices that support emotional and spiritual well-being.

Support through transition and reinvention
A steady companion for seasons of change, grief, growth, or becoming.
Offers reassurance, clarity, and self-trust when life feels uncertain.

A nurturing, culturally affirming tone
Written with warmth, care, and cultural understanding.
Feels like guidance from a wise sister—not a lecture or a quick-fix solution.

This book was perfect to learn about my culture. It was helpful and made me proud of my heritage. I bought it for my daughter so we can learn about our culture as well.
