Lylah is a speech pathologist unable to secure a job because of her alternative look, even though she’s more than qualified. She comes across an ad for a nanny with speech pathology background as the child has issues related to that. She applies - she’s desperate for any job at this point.
Enter Tatum and her infant daughter, Josie. Tatum is thrilled by Lylah’s application - everyone she had interviewed prior was nowhere near equipped to handle her daughter’s needs. She asks Lylah to come for an interview ASAP, and she does.

The writing is top-notch, making it easy to get lost in the passion and love between the two leads. Yes, yes, and YES. This was everything! Such a sweet and spicy quick read. The only thing I wanted was for it to be longer! I’m a sucker for a nanny x boss romance, but have never read an FF, spicy novella version of the trope, and this did not disappoint in any way. I couldn’t put it down!

Ooooh this book yall!! 🥵🥵🥵 If you want a quick super spicy sapphic romance look no further! This book was definitely spice over plot heavy but I ate it up! It’s got nanny and boss, she’s a cam girl, lactation kink and so much more in this little novella! I definitely could have read more of Tatum and Lylah! Definitely recommend!

I've always been a sucker for a single mom trope, but sapphic? Sapphic? I haven't found any and then by happenstance this came up as a recommendation.
Lylah and Tatum have very good chemistry, and I'm sad the story ended. The kinks are fun, all the spice is like ghost pepper hot so dive in.

Holy smokes, I don’t even know where to begin with this one. Shoutout to the discord for mentioning it. I didn’t know what to expect going into it, except for the long laundry list of kinks. Which suddenly, I’m finding new things about myself after reading it.
Ctrl Me is very much so a steamy shotgun love story (nothing wrong with quick romances) that will leave you with your jaw on the ground. But besides the spiciest scenes, I’ve read recently, this novella is also incredibly witty and funny. I was laughing at so many lines.
Anyway, you should give this a try if you’re looking for a quick, spicy as hell, kink filled, age gap, single mom and nanny read. Definitely worth exploring new kinks.

It's fast paced and SO HOT! The spice jumps off the pages! I ate this novella up in no time and I will definitely be recommending it to my fellow sapphic readers 🥵
The chemistry between Tatum and Lylah was off the charts and when that connection mixes with wine... It's explosive! Without giving too much away, if you like instant chemistry with spicy scenes that will run on repeat on your head, this is definitely a must read!

truly.. this story touched something deep inside me. and i don't mean the magic special spot got ur filthy mind out the gutter😛
but categorically this is my highest rating sapphic read ever. sapphic is quickly becoming a favourite for me to read and this has proven that in every single page. i have never highlighted a book as much as i have with this one. would you believe me if i told you i was hesitant due to the content? not the kink content,we live for the kink content but i rarely read romance that has a child anywhere in it but this one is different.. this is a beautiful contemporary sapphic love story and holy heck i am a mess.. ive cried so much,it literally feels like my heart has been made whole.
i cant even explain it, a novella,a single mum x nanny.. not the usual for me and she is unique and the lactation kink has me swooning.. in books and in real life. it's not even one i'm ashamed of hehe x

If you’re looking for a super quick, scorching sapphic novella to add to your collection, it’s here, this is it – the one you have been looking for. We start with Lylah who is our ‘nanny’ trope for this book but more specifically she is a speech pathologist, desperately on the hunt for a job, being knocked down left and right for her ‘alternative appearance’ than is until comes across a nanny advertisement from Tatum who is also in the trenches, struggling to find a nanny due to her non typical work life as a online sex worker. Tatum interviews Lylah and the pair click pretty instantly, mainly due to neither of them being petty and only caring about the others actual qualifications and priorities but it doesn’t really stop there.
I’m no stranger to a sapphic romance but there we’re so many moments in this book that we’re so niche in pouring over with feminine energy that I just loved. I honestly don’t know if I’m giving this justice in my explanation but for example thinking someone’s hot for using a coaster? The excitement for the little grocery shop haul? I just fucking loved all these little moments. This book somehow made me want to like red wine, I feel like I’m missing out on a key part of girlhood for despising it.
Tatum is a conundrum within herself. She is objectively the more laced up, responsible of the two., She has a child, she owns a house and has a steady career and she is the older one in the age gap. She is for the most part the Mommy but she has these moments, especially towards the beginning where she just can’t help herself and just lets her freak flag fly. I don’t think Lylah would have let her professional wall drop if it wasn’t for Tatum’s mad moments and the things that fly out her mouth.
The tension between the two is apparent from the moment they set eyes on each other. It’s almost like a line crackled out and connected them in that very moment the door opened. That is what makes this novella great. There isn’t just heat in the tension but there’s also this authentic chemistry that whips between every interactions they have. There is a surprising amount of character depth and emotion vulnerability packed into so few pages, The scenes feel authentic not rushed throughout.
Listen, this novella is quick and there is a lot packed in to the 100 or so pages and due to this we do loose a few things. We barely get to the point of the Layla stating her job as a nanny and so we don’t really get much of a sweet family vibe from this novella but there are a few moments of this and when they do appear they are adorable. The book pretty much takes place encompassed within the house, it’s similar to a ‘bottle episode’ of a tv show, characters come and go but for the most part we stay with the house. I’m not complaining about this at all, I’m just pointing out that I think this was a very specific choice that was made to get as much packed into to the 100 pages as possible and for the most part it was a success.
Overall, I just loved this novella and wanted more. Why couldn’t it be a full-length book, I do not know but the powers at be said it must. Ava and Tilly have hit it out of the park once again. I was already fully committed Tilly Ridge reader but now I am happy to bow down to both! I’m no stranger to a sapphic romance but there we’re so many moments in this book that we’re so niche in pouring over with feminine energy that I just loved. I honestly don’t know if I’m giving this justice in my explanation but for example thinking someone’s hot for using a coaster? The excitement for the little grocery shop haul? I just fucking loved all these little moments. This book somehow made me want to like red wine, I feel like I’m missing out on a key part of girlhood for despising it.
Tatum is a conundrum within herself. She is objectively the more laced up, responsible of the two., She has a child, she owns a house and has a steady career and she is the older one in the age gap. She is for the most part the Mommy but she has these moments, especially towards the beginning where she just can’t help herself and just lets her freak flag fly. I don’t think Lylah would have let her professional wall drop if it wasn’t for Tatum’s mad moments and the things that fly out her mouth.
The tension between the two is apparent from the moment they set eyes on each other. It’s almost like a line crackled out and connected them in that very moment the door opened. That is what makes this novella great. There isn’t just heat in the tension but there’s also this authentic chemistry that whips between every interactions they have. There is a surprising amount of character depth and emotion vulnerability packed into so few pages, The scenes feel authentic not rushed throughout.
Listen, this novella is quick and there is a lot packed in to the 100 or so pages and due to this we do loose a few things. We barely get to the point of the Layla stating her job as a nanny and so we don’t really get much of a sweet family vibe from this novella but there are a few moments of this and when they do appear they are adorable. The book pretty much takes place encompassed within the house, it’s similar to a ‘bottle episode’ of a tv show, characters come and go but for the most part we stay with the house. I’m not complaining about this at all, I’m just pointing out that I think this was a very specific choice that was made to get as much packed into to the 100 pages as possible and for the most part it was a success.
Overall, I just loved this novella and wanted more. Why couldn’t it be a full-length book, I do not know but the powers at be said it must. Ava and Tilly have hit it out of the park once again. I was already fully committed Tilly Ridge reader but now I am happy to bow down to both! I love the cover. I'll always appreciate a cover that especially for erotica, doesn't hint at the book being erotic.
Overall, I loved the outline of the story, not so much the execution. As always I could tell it was a dual author book because the tone of voice would change (how I'd describe it is one author writes more flowery than the other).

I didn't appreciate that you have to sign up at the author's website for the somnophilia epilogue. I found it very unrealistic (and risky) that Lylah+Tatum actually don't discuss anything related to their sexual history, instead it's just repetition of oh their chemistry this, the buzz they get off of each other that and the primary reason Lylah is actually there appears almost as a rare background character.
I actually love their first bathtub scene together despite it being heavily reliant on them having drunk wine and also the honorifics used especially for Tatum (lol).
Anyway, read it for the smut and suspend you disbelief/belief when it comes to proper sex safety and you'll probably rate this higher.

There is just something about Lylah that Tatum isn't sure what it is but she is attracted to her as well. I love the tension between Tatum and Lylah because it is so HOTTT!! I love ho w comfortable they feel with each other even if it is very fast paced.
