What happens when you pray? This book does not to tell you how to get answers to your prayers there are thousands of books like that. This a radically different book because it approaches prayer from God s perspective. Prayer is relationship with God. When you understand How God Answers Prayer, then you realize prayer is all about trusting your heavenly Father trusting Him to answer what is best for you, how it s best for you, and when it s best for you. Divided into three inspiring sections and bite-size chapters filled with full servings of biblical goodness, you will learn about the following...and much God answers when you wait in His presence for the answer. God can give you a vision of how the answer can come. God answers when you yield to His will. Use your faith supernaturally to move God s work forward. God may allow an obstacle to tell you No, it will not happen. When God answers your prayer differently from what you expected. God may say, No, I have a better plan for your life. Long, repetitive, and more experiential examples than scripture. The author has invented not only types of prayers but also a lengthy list of prayers that God won't answer from his own experiences rather than from actual scripture. He makes the privilege of prayer much more complicated than I believe God intended it to be for His children.
Most who write books on the subject of prayer, focus on the one who is praying. This book takes a different approach to the topic and looks at how God views our prayers. We've come across stories about great prayer warriors who seem to have a direct line to God. Like George Mueller for example. According to his autobiography, he had over 5000 requests answered on the day he prayed them. Can you imagine that? How we would love to have a prayer life on that level. How did he do that? Well first of all Mueller built a relationship with God that was so intimate that he knew God like a good Friend and he understood how God operates. When he asked God, he never asked for himself and he never asked God to do something that was outside of God's laws or character. To have the prayer life that George Mueller enjoyed we need to desire to have a relationship with God that is foremost in our lives and a faith in God that He is able to provide for us as long as we pray in His will. How can we know God's will? By getting to know Him on a very personal basis. This book might point you in the right direction.
I really enjoyed this book about the many ways God answers our prayers. It has many examples and Scripture references to illustrate each point. The author has experienced many of these answers during his lifetime of service to the Lord.
I highly recommend the this book and look forward to reading more by this author.
Loved this book. Formula for prayer? There are basic steps but God is infinite with infinite ways to answer our prayers. This covers some of the many ways God answers prayers.
Well written and informative. It's definitely life changing. I would recommend reading small bits at a time to truly learn the important teachings this book has
Prayer is a conversation between God and His people. He delights in sharing His love with us. God created us to worship Him and bring glory to His name. How amazing to know that an all-powerful God is so concerned about me, my worries and my cares. The Lord truly values each of us. This study should help us learn more about how to pray.
