A single dad romance like no other!

When Ronnie meets Francesca, its love at first sight. The biker from the wrong side of the tracks is stunned to hear this little girl ask her to be her mommy. Her? A mom?

Byron is a great dad. And when his little girl is depressed and the one thing thats perked her up is the grumpy woman? He's going to get that grumpy woman. (And boy does he)

I've never come across a story with such a reluctant nanny. One that puts the dad (Byron) on such an edge. She's definitely a black cat. And to see her melt for Ronnie?? Melt my heart as well. She becomes so gone for Ronnie!

Everything isnt roses though. There are definitely heads and decisions that keep these two circling each other. It causes such friction (i loved it!) Between the two of them.

Ronnie is such a sweetheart. You're gonna melt when you read her antics. The romance is a small burn (in the romance department) but its worth it!

When your tiny but mighty little girl chooses her own nanny, nothing else matters. Not the fact that potential nanny, Frankie Keller, is an ex-con in survival mode with nary a maternal instinct. Nor the fact that Frankie knows she has no business being around children.

Ronnie Benson is the apple of her father's eye, and Ronnie has decided that Frankie must be a superhero and is the only one who can make them a family. Slightly problematic, especially with the friction and sparks flying between Frankie and her father, Byron.

Oh, my heart y’all, this crafty storyteller is at the top of my list for kids in romance. Move over Ollie, because Ronnie has cozied her way right next to you in my heart. There's no way not to love this kid, and she’s large and in charge throughout this romance, stealing readers hearts everywhere.

And the romance itself? Buckle in and hold on to your hat, because it's a wild, tempestuous, heartfelt ride. Just when I think I’ve read her best, this gifted wordsmith raises the bar and then leaps gracefully over it. The perfect mix of humor, heat, and heart, you won’t want to miss this spectacular read!

I received an ARC of this book, all thoughts are my own.

Harloe has done it again. She's made me fall in love with another cowboy. I didn't even care much for cowboys until Cloverleaf Meadows. *grumbles under breath*

Byron hasn’t had an easy road. Between a troubled past, a difficult father and the loss of his wife, he’s carrying a lot of extra baggage. Still, everything he does is for his daughter, Ronnie. She’s his world, and he’ll go to any length to make her happy, even if that means hiring the one person he absolutely should avoid… all because Ronnie insists Frankie is the perfect nanny.

And Frankie? Let’s just say “responsible childcare provider” isn’t exactly a label you could smack on her forehead. But Ronnie is determined, and before long Frankie is in Byron’s home, bringing her chaos and charm with her. What starts as reluctant tolerance quickly shifts as the tension between Frankie and her brooding boss turns into something much harder to ignore.

Their chemistry is immediate and undeniable, even as they both try to fight it. And they fight it hard. Frankie is convinced she'd not cut out for a life with a family. She spends a lot of time trying to talk herself out of having a serious relationship with Byron. But when they finally give in? The sparks are undeniable. The real question is whether Frankie can leave her old life behind and whether she and Byron can bridge the differences that might ultimately tear them apart.

If you love a laugh-out-loud, high-heat enemies-to-lovers romance with heart, this one is definitely worth the read. I chuckled, I swooned and let's face it, I smiled because this world is just too good.

Byron's daughter Ronnie takes one look at Frankie and declares she's the one. So now Byron has to convince (tell) Frankie she's going to be their new nanny. Sounds like a good thing, except Frankie's not one for kids, or anything resembling a family. She's from a very different world than Byron and Ronnie, and in no way thinks she should be around them, definitely not be a nanny to one. But with lots of persuasion (ahem, coercion) on Byron's part, and pure warmth and love from Ronnie, Frankie's starting to come around to this new way of living. She's basking their warmth, while sassing Byron the way she does, and falling in love with this precious, adorable little girl. But will her past take away all the good she's found for herself?

What a sweet, witty story. I adored Frankie from the first time she opened her mouth and sass flew out. She was hiding a lot with that snark, but in her core, she was a survivor and came by all that sass genuinely. The way Ronnie and Byron helped bring down her walls, and claimed her heart made me so happy! While I didn't like Byron's domineering, bossy methods at convincing Frankie, I do love that he became her rock and brought Ronnie to her. If anyone deserved all that love, it was Ronnie, Frankie and Byron.

I really enjoyed reading Tangled in Trouble. The plot, main and secondary characters were great and I loved the animals! Byron and Frankie’s chemistry was off the charts from their first interaction, you could feel the push and pull of them wanting each other but not wanting to give in. Frankie was such a badass and I thought she was an awesome character. Her relationship with little Ronnie melted your heart with their interactions. You could see the barriers coming down with Frankie throughout this book and I loved seeing her stay the same fierce woman she was whilst also opening herself to love and belonging. Byron was an amazing dad and the relationship he and Ronnie had was built on so much love, he did everything to be the best dad for her. He was really patient with Frankie but also seemed to know when she needed a little push, he let her be free but also enfolded her in love. I adored the animals in this book. I loved seeing some of my favourite secondary characters from the other books in this series and am super intrigued by someone’s story and hope to see more of him. I can’t wait for book 4 of this series.

Tangled in Trouble is book 3 in the Cloverleaf Meadows series and can be read as a standalone. And this was such a fun small town romance with a little bit of some morally gray characters!

𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑵𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒔: Byron Benson & Frankie Keller + Ronnie
𝑺𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈: Cloverleaf Meadows

Frankie is the feisty FMC with a troubled past who is now working (not willingly) as the nanny for Byron’s daughter Ronnie. Ronnie was actually drawn to Frankie since she first met her. I loved this special relationship. Ronnie lost her mother so it was really important for her to real this connection to someone. Byron and Frankie on the other hand really couldn’t be more opposite. Frankie being a total black cat and Byron being a broody cowboy.

Harloe does an amazing job writing and developing these characters. I loved getting to know them and seeing their growth. There is so much chemistry between Frankie and Byron.

This was a fun, easy read. I really liked the spitfire FMC, and the MMC did a great job keeping up with her sharp wit. The story is low angst and focuses on a heated, quick romance. Single dad Byron finding love after loss, and Frankie working to get her life back on track. This is book 3 in the series and while I read it as a standalone there was a little in the beginning where I felt I was missing something, honestly it didn’t affect the readability but knowing there’s a backstory with some of the characters makes me want to go back and read the others.

Thank you to the author for the ARC opportunity!

Tangled In Trouble ( Cloverleaf Meadows series book 3 ) ⭐️Grumpy Single Dad ⭐️Black Cat Reluctant Nanny ⭐️opposites attract ⭐️Enemies to lovers ⭐️Cowboy x Biker / Age Gap ⭐️Small Town and all the feels . Well Harloe has done it again!! What you ask ? wrecked me , just wrecked me once again and somehow by the end !!! All those shattered pieces of my heart ❤️ we’re somehow glued right back together again . These two are officially my new favorite couple . Both so likable and relatable, both filled with so many layers, so many complexities as well as flaws . Neither was perfect, their lives were not without struggles or obstacles and that simple fact is something that just made them that much more relatable for me . I loved just absolutely loved the connection and the chemistry between them , I loved how even with their differences they just fit so perfectly together. I loved all the angst and the humor and the witty banter , the family and friendships and the moments that touched my heart in ways I most definitely was not expecting. Byron and Frankie were everything together, just everything. The chemistry between them was so insane you could literally feel the steam and the sparks 🔥 coming right off the pages . But it was so much more than that . I loved the progression of their relationship, i loved how different they were yet how they just complimented each other so well . Neither had it easy by any means. Byron has been through so much the loss of his wife , adjusting to be a single dad and dealing with demons from a troubled past . My heart truly went out to him . But oh was he the most wonderful dad . Their isn’t anything he won’t or wouldn’t do to ensure his little girls happiness. Our heroine Frankie comes into their life in the most unexpected of ways . I loved everything about her - her she’s strong , she’s sassy , she’s fiercely independent , a little bit unhinged. The last thing she is a caregiver well not at first , because Byron’s daughter becomes completely smitten with her and insists she has to become her new nanny . The relationship between Frankie and his little girl was just the sweetest and the feelings that start to arise between her and Byron was just so fun to watch . Smiling, laughing out loud , crying and yelling all while rooting so freaking hard . Those are only a few emotions I went through while reading what was one of the best books I’ve read this year

There’s something about a grumpy single dad who insists he doesn’t need anyone and then hires the exact woman he shouldn’t want anywhere near his life. Tangled in Trouble absolutely delivered on that tension.

Frankie is such a standout heroine. She’s tough, guarded, and unapologetically herself—an ex-con who’s spent her entire life surviving, not belonging. Being thrown into a nanny role is almost laughable at first, and she knows it. But beneath all that edge, there’s this quiet vulnerability, especially when it comes to feeling wanted and cared for. Watching her try to make sense of those emotions was one of my favorite parts of the story.

Byron is the definition of closed-off. He’s been celibate since losing his wife, fully devoted to his daughter, and determined to keep his life controlled and uncomplicated. But his love language? Acts of service, through and through. He shows up in the smallest, most meaningful ways, even when he’s fighting what he feels for Frankie. And once that restraint starts to crack, you see a completely different side of him.

Their dynamic is built on tension from the start. They clash, they test each other, and neither of them wants to give in, but the pull between them is constant. The chemistry feels immediate, but the emotional progression takes its time, which made their connection feel earned.

Ronnie completely steals the show in the best way. She sees something in Frankie that no one else does and refuses to back down. Her determination is what brings Frankie into their lives, but it’s also what holds them together. Watching Frankie soften for her, despite believing she’s not meant for that kind of role, added so much heart to the story.

This really is a story about second chances—about learning how to be part of a family when you’ve never had one, and about letting someone in when it feels easier to keep your distance. Frankie doesn’t lose who she is, but she learns it’s okay to let her walls come down for the right people.

There’s a touch of suspense woven in, but the emotional core is what carries this book. Seeing these three slowly become a family, always putting Ronnie first, made the payoff feel that much more satisfying.

Harloe Rae did such a great job balancing the tension, the emotion, and the growth in this one. If you love opposites attract, strong-willed heroines, and single dad romances with a lot of heart, this one is definitely worth picking up.

It's back to Cloverleaf Meadows where single dad Byron Benson finds himself making questionable decisions when it comes to Frankie Keller and making his daughter Ronnie happy.

Tangled in Trouble is the third book in this interconnected series- so while it of course can be enjoyed as a stand alone, it is definitely enjoyed better when read in order.

There were a couple glimpses of Frankie Keller and her questionable life choices in Saddled in Secrets- but we also caught the first moments of Ronnie's utter infatuation with the red haired woman in leather that she dubbed her new mommy. So now Frankie, Byron and Ronnie are the main stars and we get them in all their complicated glory.

As always, Harloe does an amazing job of writing these characters with so much amazing chemistry. Byron is a single dad whose sole focus is creating the best life for his daughter after his wife passed during childbirth and proving that he isn't the same kind of man that his father is. He's steady, loyal and fiercely protective- so while he has some reservations about the menace that his daughter is obsessed with, he's willing to go to some extreme measures in getting her to stick around. Frankie is an absolute spitfire- she's sassy, fiercely independent and yeah, a bit unhinged. She has never really felt what it meant to have a family before but that doesn't stop her from almost instantly falling for a certain little girl with hearts in her eyes. Byron on the other hand- well aside from finding him insanely attractive, his overbearing presence and controlling personality just brought out a petty side of her.

I had so much fun reading as Frankie and Byron traded barbs with one another while also playing this elaborate game of who can one up the other the best. There's this electricity that runs through their interactions that teeters between irritation and a little something more that I loved. But mostly I adored how Ronnie's unconditional love for Frankie softened her edges while Byron also proved that he cared and accepted her exactly for who she was- and for who she wanted to be.

Trouble never looked so good with Bryon and Frankie’s undeniable chemistry. “Tangled in Trouble” is a steamy, heartfelt and banter filled grumpy single Dad, small town romance that was so much fun to read.

Bryon is a single Dad to an adorable little girl named Ronnie who lost her mother shortly after she was born. Bryon is grumpy towards everyone except his daughter and when Frankie comes blowing into town like a tornado, Ronnie knows that Frankie is supposed to be her nanny despite not having a maternal bone in her body. Ronnie also has a secret motive, she also knows Frankie is meant to be her new mom. Bryon and Frankie butt heads from the beginning but even with all the banter, they both feel the undeniable chemistry between them.

From the moment this hit my kindle, I was hooked on Bryon and Frankie. Byron is grumpy perfection and I love how sweet he is with Ronnie. That little girl is his whole world and he’s always been there for her. He is also grumpy perfection and I loved how he never backed down from Frankie. Frankie is a force to be reckoned with and she is such a baddie and my new girl crush. She has an interesting past that shaped her who she is today and she never backs down from a challenge and that includes being a nanny. Frankie and Ronnie have the sweetest relationship and I loved when Frankie went mama bear on a bully. The banter between Bryon and Frankie had me cracking up more than once and it was the perfect tease until they gave into the sizzling hot chemistry. Bryon is deliciously dirty and Frankie is his perfect match. They both had some things to work through but are an amazing couple with they both get over their stubbornness. The ending was so sweet and I can’t wait for more from Harloe Rae.

Tangled in Trouble, the third instalment in the Cloverleaf Meadows series, delivers a charming, character-driven romance with a playful edge. First, there’s widower Byron Benson, who is totally devoted to his daughter but happily single. Then there’s Francesca ‘Frankie’ Keller, a tough, leather-clad, ex-con and reluctant prospective nanny who’s about as far from Mary Poppins as you can get. But the real wildcard is Ronnie Benson, arguably the cutest six-year-old in fiction, who has decided she wants Frankie to be her new mommy. It quickly becomes clear that Ronnie is the one to watch, and if you had to bet, you’d probably put your money on her getting exactly what she wants.

This is a low-angst read with no cheating, making it an easy pick for readers who prefer lighter, feel-good romances. The grumpy meets grumpier dynamic works well, adding humour and tension without tipping into unnecessary drama. Frankie comes from a troubled past and has run out of options, so when Byron needs a nanny, she takes the job despite clearly feeling out of her depth, what does she know about kids, anyway? But her initial discomfort around children makes her gradual attachment to Ronnie all the more heartfelt and endearing. The chemistry between Frankie and Byron is immediate, but it’s given room to develop naturally. While Ronnie remains his top priority, he’s supportive of Frankie, encouraging her to step outside her comfort zone and showing her she’s worth more than she believes. Their banter, along with the push and pull dynamic between them, is a highlight, and their chemistry builds naturally throughout.

Set against a charming small-town backdrop and filled with engaging characters, this is an easy story to get swept up in.

Bryon and Frankie (aka Frannie – to Ronnie that is) is either a match made in hell or heaven. It is tough at the beginning to determine which but by the end, you know the answer 100%! The push/pull between these two will have you turning the pages until the end.

Brought up in a life where you must do what needs to be done to not only have your family want you around, not appreciate or love you, but to serve your purpose, Frankie has led the life of a criminal. That is until her own brother betrays their cousin and almost kills him. She no longer wants to lead that kind of life and wants to start new. But when a little girl sees Frankie as a superhero in black leather, and wants her to be her new mommy, Frankie is ready to run from Cloverleaf Meadows! That is until the rough and rugged cowboy forces her into an opportunity she never wanted, or thought she ever deserved, in the first place.

Byron, Byron, Byron. The handsome window dad who wants nothing more than to see his little girl happy. He will do anything; I mean anything to see that smile on her face again. Well… almost anything. Bryon doesn’t know what his little girl sees in the low life criminal but is willing to take a chance on her, just to make his daughter happy once again. When he forces Frankie to be Ronnie’s new nanny, NOT her mommy, he will do whatever it takes to keep her around. Even fighting his physical attraction that turns into an emotional attraction from her.

We finally got to see Byron get his HEA, with the person you least expected it from! But to see the sexy single dad who is running Benson Farms find love again will make your broken heart complete again!

I received this book as an ARC and provided a review willingly.

Yee Haw! This book has just became my all time favorite! Harloe stepped up her game and crossed boundaries that I'm loving!! Tangled in Trouble is a great addition to the amazing series of Cloverleaf Meadows. This author knows how to capture the reader's attention, pull them in and keep them engaged in the story. The characters are realistic, enjoyable and you'll fall in love with them long before you reach the end. Ronnie is the star of the show, but the birthday party was hilarious, and the knife play scene is scorching hot.

TW: Death of a spouse (off page), childhood trauma (off page), Drug use (not MCs), Use of knives, Light violence, Strong & graphic language, Explicit sex scenes with knife play.

I would like to sincerely Thank Harloe Rae for my ARC and in return I voluntarily promised an honest review.

Bryon Benson, 34, lost his wife and his little girl, Ronnie, has become his whole world. He gives her anything she wants, but when she sets her sights on Trouble and wants her for her Mama, he will do what he must to get her in their lives.

Frankie Keller, 24, loves her motorcycle and her knives so, when an adorable little girl wraps her arms around her and asks her to be her Mama, she high tails it outta there.

Bryon looks high and low for the menace and when he finds her he coerces her into a Nanny position that she can't turn down.

Frankie knows nothing about children and will bide her time until the Stud fires her. She may be a superhero to the little girl but Frankie knows nothing about love.

Can Bryon and Ronnie work there way into her heart and convince her to stay and become the family that they all need and want?

This is the first book in the series I read, and the beginning had me a little confused by who all the characters were and the relationships between them and the two main characters. Francesca/Frankie Keller was raised on the grifter side of life by her uncle and his crew of misfits, which included her brother and cousin. Something happens which causes the crew to dissolve and Frankie finds herself alone and tasked with helping to plan her cousin, Colton's wedding to ranch princess, Bianca Benson (book 2 Saddled in Secrets). It's at the wedding when Bianca's precocious niece, Ronnie, is convinced Frankie is a "super-hero who will become her mommy". Byron Benson's normally vivacious five-year-old had been withdrawn lately until she saw Frankie. Wanting to bring the sparkle back into his daughter's eyes, Byron takes a risk to convince ex-con, Frankie, to be Ronnie's nanny. Frankie knows absolutely nothing about kids, but Byron's "job offer" represents a lifeline when she's at her lowest. Ronnie's feistiness, resilience and curiosity overcomes Frankie's hesitancy to do everything she can to protect this little girl's heart. I loved how Frankie started to enjoy the luxuries of life through Ronnie's eyes. Byron also took notice of the seamless effort and patience Frankie showed whenever she interacted with Ronnie. I also loved the push and pull of the zinging attraction between Byron and Frankie whenever she had a chance to tease him!
I enjoyed this slightly different spin on the single dad and the "less than perfect" nanny who finally felt what it's like to have someone choose you to love.

Tangled in Trouble

✨ARC Review✨
♥️Tangled in Trouble by Harloe Rae
🔪Frankie + Byron

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you Harloe Rae for the ARC for Tangled in Trouble. We literally don’t know what to write other than we absolutely loved this book! The characters were some of our favorites. Of course we loved sweet Ronnie. This little girl ran up to Frankie, who was dressed in leather and looking intimidating, and knew immediately she was going to be her mommy. Their bond was inevitable. This was one of those books where the nanny fell for the kid before the MMC. Even with her trauma and distaste for emotions, Frankie was all in where Ronnie was concerned. She was her only exception, her little loophole 🥹Usually we leave a book wanting more of the scenes with the nanny and kid but this one had them together so much. We honestly think their immediate connection made Byron fall that much quicker. And boy did he fall. He was obsessed and knew she was going to be his. But he also was very aware of her boundaries while still being possessive. And the way this man loved to spoil her and she allowed it…from a horse to knives if she wanted it she got it, including a family. Frankie was brought into their family no questions asked. What we loved so much about her was that for how much of a baddie independent women she is, we got to see her feminine and emotional side. It was also sweet how she didn’t have a maternal instinct and yet she did with Ronnie. She opened herself up for both of them and didn’t try to fight it. We loved their story and can’t wait for what’s next.

More reviews posted at Tales of Love, Life, and Murder

This book starts with a bang, jumping right to love at first site but not between our couple. Nope, it’s his five year old daughter who first sees Frankie and stakes her claim. Ronnie knows without question that Frankie is going to complete their family, that she belongs with them, but Byron isn’t buying it, he knows Frankie’s trouble. But he also knows his daughter is obsessed with the woman and it’s been a long time since Ronnie was so happy about anything, so he’s willing to give Frankie a shot at being their nanny, if she’ll agree.

Spoiler alert: she does not. Frankie doesn’t have a maternal instinct, she’s sure of it. After all, she wouldn’t have learned it from her jerk of a brother or the thieves they considered family and that’s all she knows. Frankie can’t understand why on earth Byron wants to leave her alone with his child, let alone pay her a generous salary but the guy won’t take no for an answer, because he’s determined to give his daughter what she wants and that is Frankie. This is funny and sweet with lots of heart and heat.

Tangled in Trouble is single dad Bryon and Frankie’s entertaining and heartwarming story. It’s book three in the Cloverleaf Meadows Series and I loved it. From the moment I picked this book up there was no putting down and even when I had read the last line I wanted more.
The only lady in Bryon’s life is his adorable little girl, Ronnie. He lost the love of his life and Ronnie’s mum shortly after she was born so whatever Ronnie wants he will do his best to get for her, except now she has her heart set on Frankie the woman who has just arrived in town and a woman without a maternal bone in her body becoming her mum…..
Bryon decides to convince Frankie to become the nanny in the hope she disappears as fast as she arrived but Ronnie has other ideas.
Frankie and Ronnie may have a bond but Bryon and Frankie have some seriously hot chemistry going on and it’s not long before they decide to scratch an itch and that’s when things get real interesting.
This book touched me on so many levels, I fell hard and fast for grumpy Bryon and I adored sassy Frankie but it was Ronnie who stole the show and my heart. This a a well written, steamy, heartfelt romance with lots of witty banter and a few twists I didn’t see coming.

𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 is the 3rd book in the Cloverleaf Meadows series by Harloe Rae, featuring an unputdownable opposites attract single dad/nanny romance for Byron and Frankie. He’s the grumpy, widower cowboy focused solely on his precocious little girl, and Frankie is the stand-offish ex-con with definite black cat vibes who gets roped into a nanny job in a very unique way! I was immediately hooked by these compelling characters and their endless banter, fiery chemistry, emotional moments, and fun enemies to lovers feel. Five year-old Ronnie was kind of the star of the show, though, as she ruled the roost with a quick wit, a huge heart, and a bright spirit! I couldn’t get enough of her! The way she bonded with Frankie and turned her gruff Daddy to putty melted my heart and kept a smile on my face! It was also fun to see the characters from the previous books. I especially enjoyed the dynamic with Frankie, Paisley, and Bianca. While much of the book felt like a rom-com, there was an interesting suspenseful edge creeping in that surprised me, and also left me with questions. I can’t wait for more from this series!!

I received an ARC for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.

Tangled in Trouble is a heartwarming, feel-good story about love finding you when you least expect it.

Bryon is a widowed single dad doing his best to raise his smart, energetic five year old daughter while running the family’s horse auction business. His life is already full, and adding anything more feels impossible. Frankie, on the other hand, is a loner trying to rebuild her life after escaping a dangerous past tied to a disbanded biker family.

Their worlds collide in the most unexpected way when Ronnie, Bryon’s adorable and determined daughter decides on the spot that Frankie is meant to be her new mom. When Bryon needs a nanny and Frankie needs a fresh start, he leans into his daughter’s instant attachment and offers her the job.

Once Frankie is in their orbit, all bets are off. Ronnie steals the show, and neither Bryon nor Frankie can say no to her, creating a natural, heartfelt bond between the three of them. What starts as convenience quickly turns into something deeper, as walls come down and a beautiful, unexpected family begins to take shape.

This story is full of warmth, healing, and second chances proving that sometimes the life you didn’t plan becomes the one you were always meant to have.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is the story of Frankie and Bryson. Both of these characters have not had an easy life. Frankie is a girl from a rough town and even rougher neighborhood. This has made her the fierce, a little nutty, and wild woman that she is now. Bryson has a troubled past, a father who was, shall we say horrible, and a wife that he lost leaving him a single dad to his daughter Ronnie. When these two meet, the sparks are flying but so are the attitudes. They are not really fans of each other. He needs a nanny for Ronnie and Ronnie has taken it upon herself to choose her nanny and her choice is Ronnie. Frankie accepts but boy oh boy does she fight it. She tells herself she is not cut out for the life of being a member of a family. But seeing her and Ronnie will melt your heart and crack you up. There a something special about the chaos she brings to this family. When these two give in though man on man. This is an amazing book. One that you will not be able to lay down. I loved every single second of it.

Cue all the swooning when it comes to the single broody dad, Byron Benson! He's in need of a nanny for his little girl. It wasn't in his plans to hire an ex con, but his daughter, Ronnie, is adamant that only Frankie will do, and Byron will do whatever it takes to make his little girl happy. Besides, she is ready on the series, too. Frankie is fierce and badass. She has a sordid past and a tough exterior, but with a lot of patience and love, a sexy cowboy and his adorable daughter might just be the ones who can make Frankie's walls come crumbling down.

This book was everything! It is well-written, perfectly paced, and an intriguing plot that renders you unable to put it down. There's witty banter that's sexy and entertaining. The emotions are intense, and you feel it all! The sexual tension is off the charts. The passion is sizzling hot. The characters are amazing. I loved them! They both have complicated posts that have left them a little jaded and broken and leary of letting someone into their hearts, but together, they may be able to mend and heal. This was such a pleasure to read! It is a beautiful love story with a HEA. I recommend reading it. You won't be sorry!

Harloe Rae has this special talent of making you love each book in the series more than the one before. I didn’t think anyone could top Colton, but then Byron and Frankie come along and now I’m having a hard time choosing favorites. These two are like fire and ice. They loved to hate each other and hated to love each other. Byron is grumpy, broody, sexy as all hell, a wonderful father who would do anything for his daughter including hiring an ex con as a nanny, overprotective and possessive af. He put a no touch rule on Frankie in their town and the towns around them!!! Frankie was not happy with that or with him in general. She is such a badass! I love her and want to be her. She’s tough on the outside but such a softie on the inside. I love how she loved Ronnie. She tried her best and stood up for her. She was jaded but Ronnie and Byron showed her she can be loved and deserved to be loved. The way Ronnie and Byron accepted her and made her part of their family was so sweet. Byron spoiled her so much and not just with sex 😉. Their banter was wrapped in banter, even during spicy times. I devoured this book and I wanted way more. I could read about these two forever.

This book is so good! I read it in a day. First I have to say little Ronnie Bryon's daughter is so adorable. She stole the show for me. Frankie and Bryon are complete opposites and Frankie is from the other side of the tracks, but they have burning hot chemistry. Ronnie sees something in Frankie not everyone sees right away, but it's okay because everyone will even Byron. Frankie hasn't had the easiest of life and knows everything comes with strings, but Bryon's family is going to show they don't. Frankie deserves all the happiness. One of my favorite scenes is when Frankie defends Ronnie from a bully. Frankie might not be the typical nanny for the single dad, but she is the one they need. There are so many funny moments and banter mixed with all the heart and feels. Bryon and Frankie bring the heat with some things I didn't know I would be okay with in romance. This book also has some suspenseful moments as well. Well rounded book that had my attention right from the beginning and was sad to see it end. Great cast of characters that had me hooked!

Byron and his daughter Ronnie ran into Frankie at Cano Cloverleaf and the little girl can’t stop talking about her or asking where she is. After her brother is arrested, Frankie runs into Bryon again at a wedding and his daughter asks Frankie to come home with them as her nanny. Byron is persistent to get her to take them up on their offer, knowing that Frankie has no where to go. She tries to run but he pulls her right back in.

Byron calls her “menace” when she tries to annoy him a little but she really does want to be a good nanny to Ronnie. He buys her a horse when she says she wishes she had one- acts of service are his love language. She still pushes him away when she can’t control the situation or she starts to feel too much.

The heat and connection between the 2 main characters starts right from the beginning. There is a lot of banter between which makes for fun interactions. This isn’t a true enemies to lovers story but has a shift somewhere in the middle. I liked the ending of the story.

Byron and Frankie

FMC: Francesca “Frankie” Keller
MMC: Byron Benson, Ronnie (5)
Spice: 🌶️🌶️.5
Pages: 340
Tropes: Single Dad, Cowboy Romance, Small Town Romance, Ex-Con FMC, Nanny Romance, Close Proximity, He Falls First
Setting: Cloverleaf Meadows, MN

Thoughts: This was a quick and easy read. It was pretty light and a little on the cheesy side. The way Byron would do anything for his daughter was sweet and a little concerning. He basically invited a stranger into him home based on his 5-year old’s demands. It worked out in the end for him but was a bit touch and go along the way. Frankie didn’t know what to do with Ronnie’s belief that she should be her new mommy. She had never had anything resembling love before so it took a little while for her to warm up to the idea. Ronnie held steadfastly to her idea that Frankie would be the missing piece to her family. I liked the character and relationship growth between Frankie and Byron. In the end, the book was fun but a little too cheesy for my mood.

Harloe Rar you’ve done it again.
I was lucky enough to receive this book as an ARC to review. I absolutely love Harloe Rae’s writing and the story between Byron and Frankie is just a love hate love story.
If you love a single dad story than this is definitely one you should add to your list.
Byron is a single dad with a gorgeous little girl named Ronnie who is looking for a nanny. And his daughter took one look at Frankie and just had to have her.
Frankie is not your typical nanny. She is a feisty FMC with a shady past who is looking for a new start.
The chemistry between Byron and Frankie is there from the start and they are fighting it from the start. I loved that Frankie never lost her feistiness throughout the book but her walls still come down.
Definitely recommend adding this story to your TBR asap.

I love a good redemption arc and this one was fantastic! Harloe gave us a black cat, ex con heroine who finds her way with a single dad and his adorable daughter. Their story is filled with little girl sweetness, loads of steamy tension, and a touch of danger.

Frankie and Byron may be opposites, but these opposites attract in the best way. She tries so hard to fight feelings because she was never shown how to feel. My heart broke for Frankie. She truly has never had anyone love her. Then Ronnie showed up and decided that Frankie was going to be her new mommy. That little girl saw the best in her and I just loved it. Byron was such a good dad. He had been living for his daughter since his wife passed. Then enters Frankie and he starts to want things he didn't think he would again.

This was a fast paced read with so much heart, healing, and finding where you belong. I loved every minute of it!
