What a sweet book. The characters kept you on an emotional roller coaster. I enjoyed the fact that the FMC was a math professor. What a unique idea. Very little spicy but lots of swoon 💗💞💞
4.25 ⭐️Wow, I loved this one.🥹Emory, a dedicated math professor ends up meeting Sam at a bookstore cafe and their connection starts to blossom. But what she doesn't know is Sam is a lead singer to a masked rock-band, so things start to get a little conflicted. Sam has a hard time juggling both parts of himself, the man with the mask, who people expect him to be and the man without the mask, his genuine self. And Emory is constantly trying to prove herself to the deans at her job. There was so much emotion written throughout the book and it was done beautifully. The longing, pining, and declarations...I got all the feels 🥰🤧. I loved Emory having a ride or d!e, firecracker bestie (she was my favorite character) and watching the group become a big family. This one is perfect for the girlies who love sleep token. ❤️
I enjoyed this story. I wish there were parts of it that had more information, especially about what was happening with Blake when he decided to get revenge. I noticed some errors in the writing. Sometimes that took away from what I was reading because I would have to reread. The ending felt out of place. I feel like the trip in March should have been mentioned prior to the ending. Overall, I hope there is a second book about what Blake has in store for them!
Really liked this one. The mix of a quiet math professor and a secret rock star made the story fun and different. The romance builds slowly and feels very natural. Sweet story with some nice emotional moments.
