Fantastic
To say that I enjoyed this book is an understatement. Mafia romances are one of my favorite storylines and this one has deliciously crafted characters that make for a great read, Dominic Caruso is a Dom who can be charming, possessive one minute then on the same token buried a few bodies of his enemies, he is also direct which gets him the any woman he wants. Dr. Amara Lewis is a renown top trauma surgeon who is very caring and professional with her patients and their families she is doesn't have time for a relationship until Dominic Caruso burst into her life.The fact that she is a beautiful mature black woman is quite refreshing. What emotional experience that I really enjoyed. This book will easily keep you on a emotional rollercoaster of romance. There's quality smut but its so Delicious. I cannot emphasize how good this is! If you like mafia romance, a awesome female and some hot guys..this is everything you can enjoy it's simply amazing, one omy new favorite series. I was totally hooked from the get-go and couldn't put it down. The chemistry is off the charts hot with the steam level that's perfect and will make your toes curl. However, the story stole my heart and forgot to give it back. The characters are absolutely not what I expected, Dominic wasn’t the robotic and rude person and Amara wasn’t a ditsy little girl, They are intriguing, multi-dimensional characters and the chemistry between them was incredibly captivating. I just loved every moment of this book which is why I highly recommend this book. It's totally brilliant!!

Pleasantly Surprised!
I love Avery Grey’s writing style so let me clarify why I was surprised. I don’t normally read anything mafia, but because it was Ms. Grey I decided to give it a read and I am so glad that I did. I was truly pleasantly surprised to find that I thoroughly enjoyed it. From beginning to end the drama never stopped. The development of Dominic and Amara’s relationship was so relatable and believable not fairytaleish. It makes you understand that sometimes, most times you can’t help who you fall in love with, no matter how hard and valiant you fight it, true love wins in the end and a beautiful story begins. Well done Ms. Grey!

This series is really romance worthy, it makes you clutch invisible pearls. Make you take a deep breathe and release it slowly while thinking what is coming next. Every woman wants a man that’s part thug but most of all every woman wants a man that’s caters to her unconditionally. This story you fall in love with Amara & Dominic.
