This volume was worth the wait, even though it really felt like it took forverrrrrrr to release!!
I really loved the change in setting in this volume and absolutely adore how overprotective Felix is of Aurora! It makes my heart swoon, especially when we had that tryst!! BE STILL MY SHOUJO-LOVING HEART!!
However, I also really loved the growth we see in Aurora. I did a quick skim of the previous volume and forgot how much my heart broke for her in how unworthy she felt to be loved by Felix or even stand by his side! Seeing her make a proactive change where she will remember and treasure her value and Felix’s love, therefore, gives her confidence that she is enough. The big step she made, showcasing that new idea and truth she is living out in a new journey of her life, was heartfelt and fun!
Though I’m not a fan of how someone is playing “tricks” on our sweet Aurora. I really pity the person when Felix finds out because he is not going to let that slide, especially since we can just see from her knight that he was none too happy from what a certain someone said to her alone.
On an unrelated note, I’m so glad we got to meet the princess because she is so wonderful!
I’m already desperate for the next volume because this one was wonderful! It was fun and had that super sweet romance I’m so fond of! Definitely continuing to recommend!!

Oh my gosh! It took so long for the next volume to come out I had to reread the first six volumes just to remember exactly what was going on and understand the beginning of this volume lol. I think that's my only complaint about this series, it's very slow to come out.
Moving on, I think the last time I read the series was on my Kindle and said in my phone so I didn't remember seeing any color pages the first time through. I was surprised by the colored pages and how pretty they were. Unfortunately, this series is not one of the beautiful full color all the way through series. But you do get some lovely few pages to start it off!
This volume neatly closes off the last arc while starting a new one. Looks like we're going to be getting some palace drama and we finally get to meet the crown princess. I'm looking forward to seeing the friendship develop between the two primordial witches lol. Felix continues to be the overprotective doting sweetie that he is. I can't decide if I were in a position like her if I would be annoyed or endeared by his almost clinginess. My guess would be that he'll settle down a little bit after what people call the honeymoon peeps passes.
Now I have to wait the long wait for the next volume, with great eagerness and anticipation! I thank the author for sparing me a devastating cliffhanger!

Aurora becomes a lady in waiting for the crown princess! There is schemes and pestering, there are sweet moments (oh my Felix), embroidery also happens (and I love seeing her get a big big chance), I loved the new characters we meet in this one (well, OK, not all of them, that one maid and some of the other maids can just go away), I loved how protective Felix is, and Aurora is such a fun character once again and I hope that she can make many friends and social contacts (which she needs to have, but we all know that Aurora just wants to embroider).

I enjoyed exploring a new area - the palace! It was fun to meet the prince's fiancée and see Aurora navigate life as a lady in waiting. She and Felix were lovey-dovey as usual, which was very satisfying. I'm sad to be caught up, since now I have to wait until next year for a new volume. 5 stars.
