Tiny Invaders: The Search is the second book in the Tiny Invaders series. This whimsical sci-fi comic book features vibrant illustrations and a playful spirit, just like the first book. The talented Eric Walbrecht delivers an imaginative and entertaining narrative that captivates readers of all ages.
In Tiny Invaders: The Search, you will be drawn into an unusual universe filled with delightful chaos brought on by these fantastical beings. The hilarious antics of the charming and quirky cryptids, who have unleashed madness and mayhem on Earth, along with Number 2's quest to find them, had me laughing at their adventures and wincing at some of the chaos.
This delightful madness is a must-experience for anyone fascinated by comic books, sci-fi, and eccentric characters. This light-hearted adventure, filled with laughter and imagination, should be at the top of your reading list.
Strap in for adventures with No.2 and 427 as they travel around trying to trap the specimens that No.2 lost when his ship crashed. Shenanigans ensue as they travel in Bessy (through the magic of horsepower) to track down cryptids who have got themselves into all sorts of outrageous situations.
This was genuinely absolutely hilarious. This comic had me laughing out loud, and I was genuinely gutted when it ended. The characters were cute and fun, and the scenarios they found themselves in were outrageous in the best way. No.2 and 427 are just the best; I adored them so much. I loved, loved, loved every second, and I recommend it for both kids and adults to read. I feel there's something here for both to enjoy. The drawings are fab and cute, and I cannot praise Walbrecht enough. Think my favourite bit was Lochness, I was giggling like a mad woman at that. This is well worth the read, just for some genuine fun. It's the second book in a series, and I definitely recommend reading the first instalment - Tiny Invaders: The Crash. I’m definitely going to.
Tiny Invaders: The Search is the second instalment in the Tiny Invaders series by Eric James Walbrecht. It is a comic book style story that tells a fun and imaginative sci-fi tale. This book is set six years after the ‘Roswell’ crash, and continues on from the adventure we embarked on in the first edition. The story contains all the humor, adventure, mayhem, and chaos I expected to find - making it another enjoyable read for both younger audiences, as well as the young at heart. We follow a group of cryptids who find themselves in an unexpected predicament after a UFO crash landed - as Number 2 endeavours to recapture them. Mr. Walbrecht's writing is full of witty dialogue and vivid descriptions, bringing the quirky characters and their ‘world’ to life. The story stars - thunderbird, big foot, lochness, chupacabra, Jersey devil, yeti, and the mothman - bringing fun and intrigue to the overall storyline. Happy Reading…
Tiny Invaders The Search is book 2 of the Tiny Invaders series. With the comic book style of the book it’s better suited for kids in 3rd grade and up. The comic book style graphics were vibrant and eye catching and even made me giggle and laugh at them. Overall the storyline was fascinating and flowed decently together. I did have a moment of confusion in one part when it went from the character having a name then to being called by a number so I had to backtrack and reread that part again. I did enjoy that the book incorporated most of the “mythical, mystery” creatures of legends. Mothman, Yeti, Bigfoot, Lochness, etc. It was well written and structured throughout the entire story and even left a cliffhanger for the next one in the series. If you have an older grade school to middle schooler who enjoys comic books, definitely check this one out.
This is the second book in this series which is just as cute as the first. I highly suggest picking up the first one for your child as well, it is just as great. This is a story about Number 2 and his roadtrip with an old friend. Their journey finds them in increasingly disastrous and chaotic situations. Number 2 is just determined to go home. I enjoyed all the characters in this story. They are engaging, fun and full of life. I also enjoyed the learning aspects in this story and how they are presented in a fun way. The pages are colorful and the illustrations will keep your child asking questions. This is a great story that any child will enjoy reading. I highly recommend this book.
This book is such a fun and entertaining follow up to the first one. It picks back up with the same chaotic characters, guaranteeing madness and hilarity the whole way through. While, on the face of it, this book is aimed at a younger audience, the author has made it so engaging that it truly appeals to all age ranges. The graphic novel style approach, the characters, the story – they are all designed to pull you and keep you reading. It was so easy to reconnect with Number 2 as a character. Seeing him discover the mayhem left behind from the previous book was one of my favourite things about this one. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and I hope we get to see more from these characters in the future.
Tiny Invaders: The Search is book number two in the Tiny Invaders series. It is a playful, comic style middle grade graphic novel that continues the series six years after a Roswell style crash. The plot follows Number 2 and 427 as they road trip to recapture escaped cryptids, Thunderbird, Bigfoot, Loch Ness, Chupacabra, Jersey Devil, Yeti, and Mothman, delivering a fast, humorous adventure driven by witty dialogue and vivid illustrations. The story touches on topics of friendship and responsibility; chaos versus order; curiosity and discovery. It balances slapstick mayhem with warm character moments, making it appealing to both children and adults who enjoy lighthearted sci fi and comic storytelling. The vibrant artwork and strong comedic timing give it a broad family appeal.
This book is the second installment in the Tiny Invaders series. I really enjoyed the first one and when I began the second one, I will say that since it had been a while since reading the first, I was momentarily confused with the beginning of the second installment- totally my fault and I went back to re-read the first book. It cleared up the confusion. I highly suggest making sure to get book one and read it first. The comic is about 2 and 427 who have crash landed and are on a mission to collect their lost monsters before their team rescues them. Along the way to collect them all, 2 and 427 have a few fun adventures. This is a very entertaining and fun comic to read!
5 Stars Tiny Invaders: The Search By Eric Walbrecht
Tiny Invaders: The Search is the second book in The Tiny Invaders Series. This is a cute sci-fi children’s comic that my son and I enjoyed reading. The colorful illustrations help bring the story to life. My son loved reading this story and played right along like he was on the journey with them. This story finds Number 2 and his friend on a journey but it’s not easy and there is plenty of chaotic situations for them to deal with. My son and I highly recommend reading this book and we look forward to reading more from this Author.
This playful graphic novel follows 2 and 427 on a journey to pick up specimens lost by number 2 when he crashed to earth 6 years ago. Earth has some strange things going on; Pigeons getting tips on stocks, a ball pit in the mayor’s office! There are funny antics that ensue and the artwork conveys that. I enjoyed these characters with their big adventure, and look forward to reading this to my grandchildren. Whether you are a child or a child at heart this graphic novel delights and entertains.
This book was so fun to read to my nieces; they both loved it! The characters were so full of life with the great illustrations, and the hilarity of the things they had to overcome was just out of this world. I cannot wait to read more to my nieces; they love a good alien story. Genius to use items kids can relate to, such as squeeze cheese in the story. We enjoyed munching on some with crackers while I read the story, lol. I highly recommend this for all ages, young and old alike; it will have you rolling with laughter. @Brandy Rymer 11/2025
It’s been 6 years since #2 crash landed somewhere in West Virgina, and in this second of Walbrecht’s comic offering, he is joined by #427. Together they set out on an adventure gathering specimens (think Nessie and Yeti) for what they hope is a return space trip. The comics are colorful and the antics crazy. This is the perfect book for the kid who enjoys bathroom humor. No profanity, just potty language. It’s a hoot!
Oh farts. Six years have passed since Number 2 crashed on Earth and lost all the specimens. But now he has found 427 and with his help they start to finally find them. Just in time for Number 2’s people to launch their own rescue for number 2. Love these books my boys laugh every time Oh Farts is read. I hope we get more in this series to see what Number 2 will face next, and if he will ever catch them all.
This is a fun book! Cryptids, aliens, old school comic style, yep! The characters are funny, bit sassy and perfect. I love this book! I still own graphic novels from my teens and this story was a trip to my past from front to back and I would recommend to any lover of old school comics and sassy humor.
This book is full of vivid illustrations as two aliens attempt to catch specimens on Earth. Children will love the humor, who can resist a character that says “ oh farts” or 427 drinking more and more milk even though it makes him puke. Specimens such as the Yeti, Bigfoot, the Jersey Devil and the Loch Ness monster will draw laughs from the adults in the crowd.
Six years after an alien spaceship crashes on Earth carrying some unusual passengers. Number 2 is determined to recapture all our passengers from the first book. This was a cute book with vibrant illustrations of the ‘passengers’ that included Yeti, Bigfoot and the Lochness, just to name a few. I recommend this story for all ages.
Once again, this wonderful vibrant delightful book had my kids hooked in from the beginning. The chaos brought on by this tiny invader brings a hilarious fun read enjoyable. They bring all of this mayhem to out very own planet earth. This was a quick fantastic fun read filled with adventure and laughter and of course imagination. this comic was amazingly well illustrated and it all fit together.
I’d read the first one, so this was a cute one to read next!
Loved seeing all the characters again and the adventures they get into.
My favorites are lochness and the chupacabra. Fun read for kiddos and even adults who like graphic novel stories like these, that are a fun and quick read.
Always enjoy reading these, so look forward to hopefully more of these to come.
I had a lot of fun watching number 2 and 427 try to locate and wrangle all the monsters. There are many mishaps along the way, but they seem to have caught them all, in time for the rest of number 2’s crew to arrive. Oh farts, what is in store for number 2 and the monsters next.
Tiny Invaders 2: The Search is a fast-paced, delightfully chaotic sci-fi romp that brings humor to ordinary encounters. The chaos, the friendship, the unexpected adventures… If you enjoy quirky road trips, oddball friends, or just need a cute little comic to brighten up your day, this is it.
This is such a cute story! Perfect for the kids. #2 and #427 have crashed, and need to find their cargo. What follows is a wonderful, chaotic adventure. Definitely need to read the first book before reading this one. I would definitely recommend.
What a super cute book ! My school aged kids at the daycare loved this one. Imagine if the Sunday cartoon page and Cartoon Network had a love child it would be this book! Very entertaining, full of great characters, full of color. Definitely a must buy if you enjoy comic books.
What a great sequel to book 1! My 9 year old had a blast reading through and following along with the illustrations (which are so cute by the way). He was laughing the whole way through.
This comic book is full of quick short stories about yeti, bigfoot, lochness monster, etc and their adventures. The font is a little hard to read for smaller kids but stories are on point.
