The Mansion On Beach Street

Rate this book
When Holly Donnelly discovers a dead body at the foot of the staircase inside her apartment building, she finds herself pulled into a mystery she can’t walk away from.

Holly's housesitting gig at a grand old mansion soon becomes complicated. The house is haunted, the mail brings more oil paintings than anyone could ever hang, and the unsettling owner seems to have secrets of his own. Meanwhile, Detective Cooper Honeycutt believes the body Holly found is only one in a string of serial murders—and he needs her sharp instincts to help unravel the case.

As their partnership grows into something deeper, Holly uncovers evidence that ties the quirky residence to multiple crimes. With a hurricane bearing down, she must decide who she can trust—and whether she’s finally ready for love.

Suspenseful and delightfully offbeat, THE MANSION ON BEACH STREET is the fourth book in the Daytona Beach Mysteries series by Janie Owens.

Holly is going to be a house-sitter at a mansion in Daytona. It’s only supposed to be a couple of weeks, but it turns into months. She falls in love with a detective who was investigating her friend, Mia’s, death. She gets mad at him when he doesn’t believe she sees and hears ghosts. She gets over it and loves him again. She mentions her red hair and Cooper’s beautiful blue eyes at least seven thousand times.
