This was actually shorter and quicker than I was expecting but it was just what I needed for my Halloween TBR

Nothing like a little trauma to kick off Halloween night!
Tori is literally just trying to have some unwanted normalcy, but do the fuck boys want her too? Noooo because they suck ass. Then you have Liam being all broodie in the corner while carrying a big old secret. Yes there is trauma throughout this novella, but there is also cackling amounts of banter and spice. Did I much demon dick? 10/10

Tori and Liam!!! Tori is constantly used and abused while Liam sticks in the shadows caring for her without her knowledge. But then the truth comes out. Will the incubus be able to claim Tori. This was a fast burn and amazing! Although I’m hoping to get a part two. I need to know what happens to the boys on their journey

Man this book was a little rough. The feelings Tori feels and goes through I know them so well. But there is always a light at the end of the rode that's what this book gives survivors of whatever they are feeling. Liam is such a sweetie too. It's like he's there but doesn't know what's going on till he does then BAM!!! Give it a read!

Tori hasn't had the easiest of lives. Her parents don't really care about her or her well being, Tori's had to pretty much raise herself and do what ever she could just so she could to survive. Tori's been enduring immense trauma since she was a young child, her parents neglected her, verbally and physically abused her and for Tori it seemed like it was going to be her never-ending nightmare.
It's been that way her entire life though for Tori, she's always been the victim. Once she got to college she hoped that it was going to get better. But, sadly Tori quickly learned that liquor was her own worst enemy. She would quickly get black out drunk and from there that she would be repeatedly roped throughout her entire college years. Tori quickly learned how to turn off her emotions and let her bullies Tylor, Jacob, and Jason just have their way with her. She had decided to just stop fighting them.
Halloween night Tori decides that she's going to go to a party but this time she's not going to drink, this time she is going to remain sober in the hopes that staying sober will keep her bullies from touching her or doing anything to her for a change.
Things don't go Tori's way though. Even sober Tyler, Jacob, and Jason manage to trap her in a room and have their way with her. Even though Tori yells and screams for help, no one hears her or pays attention to her. After they are done, they walk out and leave her curled up on the bed.
Then Liam walks in and while at first Tori shinks away from him, she quickly realizes that not only does she feel safe with Liam she also feels like he's familiar.
For years, ever since he first saw Tori, Liam has been watching Tori, trying to protect her. It's been hard for him though as he doesn't know exactly what all she has been through, not only what Tyler, Jacob, and Jason have done to her but also what her parents and family have done to her. This time though when Liam steps in, he admits to her that it's not the first time. The difference he tells her is that this time, he isn't going to let her go.
As Liam is trying to get Tori out of the party and away from her three bullies, things go to h*ll and they end up in Liam's truck with Tyler, Jacob, and Jason. Tori and Liam end up being dumped in the middle of nowhere and as they start walking back, Liam reveals his secrets to Tori that he's sure she's not going to believe. Tori to his shock, she accepts it and takes it all a lot better than Liam expected she would.
Tori quickly realizes that Liam was being serious when he said that he was not going to let her go this time, that he's not going to let her get hurt again and that he's going to do everything he can to protect her.
Everyone knows that on Halloween all the monsters and demons come out to play. And this Halloween Tori learns more about her self and more about her true self than she ever thought she would. And in that single night Tori realizes just how much her and Liam truly can be.

This is a quick read but it's really good. Emily Klepp did not disappoint. And of course as you should know but if you don't make sure you read the trigger warnings. Mental Health matters.

She doesn't like to drink but when she gets hurt worse but people. She's teased and bullied by people at her school. She's an outcast but she's learned to live with it.

So apparently I'm the outlier here, this was just ok to me. It a REALLY short novella length so the whole story feels like it's going at a break eclipse pace, theres a lot of info dumping and exposition, plus exploitation that seems like it's mostly done for shock value? like, terrible things happen to Tori and she's been abused since she was a child and she's written and constantly r*ped by those guys and she's just... emotionless? like we're told she's going through the worst of the worst and she cries a little and that's really it. we don't see any struggle or trauma and the trauma we do see is "retconned" at the end bc demon magic mate bonding makes everything better?.
Then there's the smut ... and all I have to say it was really disappointing. I've read erotica before and it's usually lengthy and written in a titillating engaging way... this was not. Like we got almost constant sex from the jump, but it was very "he slams into me, I orgasm" type of stuff and less than a paragraph each time. I was looking for detailed scenes and actual depth / feeling / connection etc. but it just wasn't there.
The whole story was engrossing, but I think it suffers from the last of detailed smut, it being so very short and the weird thing with his dad IMO. This could be amazing with a few tweaks but it was an ok quick smutty read.

Unknown to her, Liam was always there for her to get her home safe and look after her due to her blacking out. Maybe getting drunk off her arse was not the only thing going on! Bully's who could only rape her when she was unconscious soon find there is more to Liam and Tori.
As Tori and Liam are kidnapped and left out in the middle of bumf3ck nowhere to fend for themselves, Liam comes clean and explains that he has a close bond towards Tori and that they will survive. To keep her level headed he assures her that the 3 men that have tortured her throughout her years of college will have what is coming to them.
To say this was a thrilling ride for me is an understatement....and just a little dip into the paranormal side is a big turn on.
Take a chance and have a read and see just what Emily is capable of in a heartfelt story with a strong message can do!

That quote perfectly captures the raw intensity and dark beauty of this story. I really enjoyed All Hallows Mate — it’s moody, atmospheric, and filled with that addictive blend of danger and desire that keeps you hooked from the start.
While I did feel the plot jumped around a bit and some parts felt rushed, I think that’s more a reflection of my own wish that it wasn’t a short story. The world and characters had so much potential, I would’ve happily devoured a full-length version.
Overall, it’s a captivating, fast-paced read that leaves you wanting more — and I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for whatever Emily Klepp writes next.

When he reveals that he is part incubus and she is his mate, they will embark on a journey to solidify their bond and maybe get a little revenge along the way.
This is a dark All Hallow's Eve story, but it also has moments that made me laugh out loud. Tori just wants to feel normal and not have everyone talking about her, but some of the guys refuse to let that happen. Tori has endured immense trauma since childhood, facing neglect from her parents and various forms of abuse that seemed never-ending. Now in college, a drunken night leads her to give in to her three bullies. However, Liam appears as her unexpected hero, though he carries more monster-like qualities than those of a man. They find themselves isolated in a remote location, forced to rely on each other to navigate their circumstances. Liam reassures Tori that they are essentially locked in together, promising her that those men won't harm her again and that he has a plan to ensure they receive their just desserts. I really liked this one. It was a super quick read and it would be perfect for Halloween night.
Tori is know for getting off her face and hooking up with randoms, except she isn't willingly hooking up with them. She soon finds out it doesn't matter what state she is in they will use her anyway. But in a way it works because it leads her to find out that Liam has been there for her for the last 4 years even if she didn't know it.
I really like Liam and Tori, even with everything that has happened to her she is still a good person and Liam is really sweet even when other said and did bad things to her he still stood by her and I think that if he realised that she wasn't willing he would have stepped in sooner.
As always it's best to check triggers.

I really enjoyed this read, I hated what Tori went through, and I must admit I went through emotions reading it. But holy cow Liam? Now he was worth it! I loved the flow of the book. The setting for it, the premise. Everything. I have to say my favourite part is definitely the ending! Them getting called out, and caught. It was hilarious. I must admit I read the last few pages multiple times, while giggling and telling them that was the least they deserved 🤣

This was a short but good little Halloween novella. It follows Tori. She is the party girl but there is more to her than meets the eye. She is being treated poorly. Liam has always been there for her unknowing that she is not as much a party girl as she appears. He makes it his mission to care for her. They are fated mates. He is a half demon and she has some magic in her as well. They are forced into a situation that they have to rescue themselves. While doing so they form a mate bond and take care of the people that have wronged Tori. Check your triggers but enjoy this short and sweet Halloween read.
