Harmony Glen

Satyrday Night Fever

Rate this book
Marigold Bloom has always preferred quiet corners to center stage, but when her flighty mother abandons her latest project, Marigold is left to pick up the pieces. Running Bloom & Vine in a small town full of nosy neighbors and magical residents is challenging enough—until Harmony Glen’s town council insists she co-chair the Summer Solstice Festival with the town’s most notorious bachelor.

Thallos likes his life good wine, good music, and no entanglements. But the pretty new florist is different. Quiet, stubborn, and unexpectedly fascinating, Marigold isn’t swayed by his charm. The more time they spend together in the enchanted grove, the more he finds himself wanting to unravel her secrets instead of hiding behind his own.

Between mischievous town gossip, meddling matchmakers, and the grove’s sensual enchantments, Marigold and Thallos find themselves tangled in more than just festival lights. But is what they’re feeling true desire—or just the magic of Satyrday Night Fever?

* * * *
Though they once lived in secret, “monsters” have inhabited the earth as long as humans. As technology advanced by leaps and bounds, the ability to remain hidden dwindled. Earth’s nonhuman creatures faced a allow themselves to be discovered, or step forward and introduce themselves. Either option could have ended badly for monsters and humans alike—and in some places, it did.

But not in Harmony Glen.

After The Great Revelation, Harmony Glen welcomed monsters with open arms. This small, lakeside town in Upstate New York is now home to humans and nonhumans! Integration has been so successful in Harmony Glen, the town even changed its motto to “Come for the harmony, stay for the happily ever after.”

Welcome to Harmony Glen. We know you’re going to love it here.

Each book in the Harmony Glen multi-author series is a standalone cozy romance with a happily ever after! The books can be enjoyed in any order.

It was a sweet, emotional story about two lonely person who had been hurt in the past and thus had built walls around their heart. But who eventually learned to trust each other with their hearts.

Marigold Bloom was the owner of the flower shop Bloom & Vine in the small town of Harmony Glen. A beautiful, magical town where everyone knew each other and where humans, satyrs, pixies, centaurs and many other magical creatures lived together peacefully. Marigold loves her new life. She had grown up with a mother who fell in love with people and things very quickly, but also lost interest just as fast, causing them to move often. Something that Marigold didn’t like. It therefore made her very happy to stay in one place and build something for herself. Marigold wasn’t looking for love, but the inhabitants of her small town thought she was. To her great surprise, Marigold was chosen to organize the Summer Dance Festival together with the charming satyr Thallos, the owner of Thallos Fine Wine & Vineyard.

Thallos was intrigued by the shy Marigold from the very first moment, but the same couldn’t be said for Marigold. Marigold wasn’t charmed by him, on the contrary, she’s very suspicious. Something that intrigued Thallos all the more. Although Marigold tried to maintain her distance, that’s difficult when you had to organize a festival together. But Marigold soon discovered another side to Thallos’s personality. He showed her that he’s more than a charming satyr, he’s also a man who had been hurt in the past, someone who could be patient and understood her quirks and fears.
And when Thallos needed support and acceptance, Marigold was there to support him.

Marigold and Thallos were both wonderful characters. Although they were very different, they also had things in common. Both were passionate about their work, loved nature and loved life in the small town of Harmony Glen. Both were lonely and hurt by love. It was great to see how they found friendship and love with each other, how they blossomed and become braver and more themselves. The story was told in both POV’s. The secondary characters were also very interesting. The inhabitants were curious, helpful (in their own way), welcoming and supportive (also in their own way). They brought a smile to my face every now and then. Marigold’s mother also made an appearance. She wasn’t the best mother and I was glad that Thallos stood up for Marigold. Thanks to him, Marigold also learned to stand up for herself. After that, Marigold’s mother did her best to be become a better mother, which I liked. The same applied to Thallos’s brother. He wasn’t the best brother either, but in the end, he did his best too.

I really liked this story. It was a sweet, emotional and steamy story.

I absolutely loved this book! It is rare to find a story that takes such a well-worn trope and manages to make it feel entirely new and exciting. Honey Phillips did a fantastic job with the world-building, and I was completely taken with the unique choice of monster protagonist. Seeing a different type of creature featured in this setting was a breath of fresh air; the author played with the expected beats of the genre while maintaining that essential chemistry and charm. The character dynamics were top-tier, and the execution was, quite frankly, exceptional. If you enjoy monster romance but are looking for something that breaks the mold, this is a must-read.

Reasons to Read:
* Unique Monster Representation: The author subverts typical expectations by utilizing a less common creature, providing a fresh perspective on a familiar dynamic.
* Exceptional Pacing: The narrative flows smoothly, balancing the romance with the intrigue of Harmony Glen perfectly.
* Creative World-Building: The setting feels immersive and adds a distinct flavor to the overall story.
* Strong Characterization: The chemistry between the leads feels earned and genuine, making their journey all the more engaging

⭐⭐⭐⭐💫

This is a cozy small-town monster romance. It’s part of the Harmony Glen multi-author series of standalones.

Human FMC Marigold has been cleaning up her mother’s mistakes all her life and has finally settled into her own life running a flower shop in Harmony Glen. Then the meddling elders nominate her to run the town festival, which would be bad enough on its own, but the job also comes with a charming satyr co-chair, MMC Thallos, who pushes against all her carefully built barriers.

I really enjoyed this book. The dynamic between the MCs was fantastic, with her being guarded and him being a charmer she refuses to be charmed by. The town is heavily featured, along with some returning characters from Phillips’s other contribution to the series, Horned to be Wild. There was just enough will-they-won’t-they tension mixed with some outsider drama, while still keeping the focus on the cozy romance and enchanting atmosphere.

Overall, a delightful read. I can’t wait to check out more in the Harmony Glen series.

Satyrday Night Fever takes place in the town of Harmony Glen a cozy magical town where humans and monsters coexist and romance is never far behind.
FMC Marigold Bloom has always kept a low profile in life and being the newbie in town wasn’t looking for the limelight until the day the town council nominates her to co-chair the upcoming Summer Solstice Festival with none other than the town bachelor.
MMC Thallos will soon become intrigued with the quiet new florist, and because his charm doesn’t seem to have any affect on her.
It doesn’t take long in this magical town though for a little feeling to start weaving its way into their time spent together on the festival planning.
I enjoyed their story that played out against a backdrop of interfering townies, growing passion, personal vulnerability, family dynamics, and lots of emotion.
Wonderful writing and characters made for a delightful read, and their opening festival dance together a true winner!
HEA.

Harmony Glen is becoming one of my favorite places. Full of Monsters and humans alike. Of course you have the Sanderman sisters and their interfering, in a delightful way.
I loved how Marigold blossoms under Thallos's attention. They each had their own challenges to conquer. Her with the Summer Dance Festival, her mother, and then there's Rachel. Thallos with his brother and past hurts.
I loved his patience or at least he tried to be patient with her and their blooming romance.
I loved the support of her best friend Lila. We read about her adventure with Torin in Horned to be Wild. She was there when Marigold needed her the most.
I loved the lesson of trust is a choice , not a surrender. That they both needed to learn that lesson. The worldbuilding was enchanting. Steam to the eventual romance. This can be read as a standalone with a blossoming HEA for them.

4.8⭐️ Love Breaks Down the Highest Walls

Another great read from Honey Phillips! Pushed together to plan a festival, Marigold & Thallos see behind the walls of each other. Both have baggage from the past that makes them both feel they are not good enough for the other person and make them both have trust issues. Learning to trust their feelings for each other and that they are going to choose each other daily takes time and patience. While they learn to trust their feelings for each other, we get lots of steam and a chance for both of them to confront their pasts. Eventually, they both realize they aren’t going anywhere and we get a HEA. This was an enjoyable read.

Fantastically Fun!
Marigold is a human florist in the town of Harmony Glen. She was just volunteered to co-chair the annual the Summer Solstice Festival along with Thallos, a satyr who owns the vineyard in that same town. She is not falling for his charming ways and that intrigues him. But she has lived her life dealing with her mother who also puts on the charm to get what she wants so she isn’t falling for him, or is she? Plus, Thallos has a few family issues of his own to work on and will that get in the way of what might be going on between them?
It was a fantastic and fun story!

“Satyrday Night Fever: Harmony Glen” by Honey Phillips

-A cozy monster romance is charming, heartwarming, and full of small-town magic. I was fortunate to receive a free copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts.

Marigold and Thallos have a wonderful opposites-attract dynamic, with her guarded nature perfectly balancing his patient, flirtatious charm. The enchanting world of Harmony Glen, along with its lovable side characters, makes the story feel warm and immersive from beginning to end. Sweet, steamy, and full of humor and heart, this is a delightful standalone with a satisfying ending.

An intriguing story!
Marigold has some serious skills in managing chaos, but has relationship barriers. I love the way they melt away as Thallos slowly gains her trust. It is fascinating to see them bring out the best in each other.
A very intriguing story. It’s well written, showing the struggles new relationships go through, the helpfulness of some locals, while a few others throw roadblocks. I am sure this relationship is meant to be, as those roadblocks are quickly surmounted. Good reading - I recommend!

The saying “Once bitten, twice shy” comes to mind when I think of the FMC. Meanwhile, the MMC impresses me with his incredible patience—it's genuinely saint-like. I guess you need that level of patience when you’re falling for someone. That satyr truly deserves a medal; he's managed to help Marigold Bloom bloom😆. And I can see why she fell in love with him. Truth be told, I guess their love healed each other.

Oh my God, I loved it too much!😍😍😍

Thallos was such a wonderful character. I loved learning more of his history with his brother, and the whole dynamic of how each one felt about each other. Marigold has spent her life cleaning up after her flighty Mother's many marriages, and business failures. When her BFF and pretty much half the town scheme to get these two together. Such a delicate balance between them both fighting for someone to see their real self, and someone who is willing to stay. Just a beautiful courtship, and HEA ending. Trish. A

Dancing into Forever

Another enjoyable "Harmony Glen" read. I suggest you start with the first book as some characters show up in other books. This was a wonderful tale of an introvert girl and a charismatic satyr. Sparks fly when they are volunteered tho be co-chairs of a festival. I liked that as their time spent planning also made them both see the real person underneath the facades and walls built up by both of them. Once those walls come down, they get their chance at a HEA.

First off, let me tell you that Thallos is swoonworthy!! Man his character is delectable.

Of course with any story it always helps that you have outside interference 🤣but, this is a sweet sweet read and everyone has for the most part good intentions. A story that delves deep into, well, everything.

Dancing and romance. Who could ask for more?
Amazing read as always Honey.

This is such a perfect small town romance series, I have read others in this series. Honey Phillips is great at combining character depth with humor and romance and townies all in the business. Both characters are guarded but feeling that immediate connection that keeps your face in the book just waiting for them to finally give in. Wine and dancing and romance who could ask for more.

I love this town, all the people, the atmosphere, and the monsters. Thallos and Marigold are a super cute couple, even though Marigold fights against him the majority of the time. This is a feel good read, and you catch yourself smiling from time to time. Good breather book, low stress, sweet and spicy!! Great read!.

This was a really enjoyable standalone story set in the small town of Harmony Glen that focuses on Thallos (Satyr) & Marigold (Human Florist). Both characters have complicated emotional issues from their pasts that they help each other work through and I enjoyed seeing how they developed as individuals as well as how they developed as a couple. This story also features characters from previous books in this series but it isn't necessary to have read them to enjoy this story. The epilogue at the end was a lot of fun and I look forward to reading many more books by Honey Phillips in the future.

Steam Rating: Explicit and Plentiful 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Thallos is used to his charm working on everyone, but Marigold is entirely unfazed by it. She is quiet, stubborn, and likes to fade into the background, but the more time they spend together, the more he is fascinated. I loved watching them learn to truly see each other and become the person they each need to find their own inner strength and grow stronger together.

Satyrday Night Fever by Honey Phillips is the story of sweet, somewhat shy Marigold, the human Harmony Glen florist, and Thallos, a very social and handsome satyr, who work together to create this year's Summer Dance Festival. She learns to trust again. He teaches her to dance. Love blooms.

I love a patient male main character and Thallos fits the bill perfectly. He falls hard for Marigold, who struggles to believe he is there for more than a good time. In spite of his own fears, Thallos works to show her Mari he can be trusted.

Well worth the read!!!

Cozy and sweet

For once it's the creature being patient with the tortured human. Not that Thallos doesn't have his own baggage. Just that Marigold has a carryon, two checked bags and a crazy mother. Highly recommend!
