A Sapphic, erotic thriller with a masc in a Ghostface mask? YES! I wish this was longer! Definitely need more F/F masked stalky chasing, dark, primal wlw books in my life and thankfully, there’s 4 in this series! So excited to read the rest.
It’s a quick and dirty read with a focus on fear and spice over plot depth. For me, I’d have preferred it to be a bit longer and have more backstory and depth, but it’s fun, fast paced, dark and spicy, and definitely scratches that itch for a big strong masc in a mask to come rough you up a bit.
Whilst it’s pretty obvious roughly what’s going to happen, not knowing WHO the person in the Ghostface mask is was pretty fun, especially the reveal. The revenge at the end was very fun too!

Plot Summary:
Nessa tried to prove herself to her uni ‘friends’ by accepting a dare to spend the night in an abandoned/haunted warehouse. However, it turns out she isn’t alone and a certain masc in a mask is about to have some fun…

Cirrus Rae first popped up on my TikTok during a time when I was looking for darker romance books. Just dipping my toes in a bit, trying to see what I did and didn't like.

It was a simple post "I heard you were tired of reading about masked men and pretending they were women..."

Nice and simple, but enough to grab my attention. As time went by I learned more about the Masked Mascs series as well as Little Lamb in particular. So when ARC applications opened, I jumped at the chance.

And I'm very happy that I did. I blew through this story and loved every moment of it.

Little Lamb is a novella, just barely longer than 100 pages. Nessa takes on a dare from her friends and has to spend the night in an abandoned warehouse. But she's not alone.

The chase scenes in this book were thrilling with a touch of brutality to them. It's not just running away from someone in a field of daisies. I really enjoyed how Nessa's panic, and later attraction, were described in the book. it felt like seeing into a Final Girls head.

The sex scenes...yeah they had me in a chokehold. I was way too into them. They blended fear and attraction well, allowing both characters to be into the action.

I really enjoyed Little Lamb and I am just as excited for Into the Fire and Till Death. I cannot wait to read more!

Lemme me tell you...the wait was well worth it. Holy shit.

Quick Simple Read

Little Lamb was a quick, cute, smutty novella that perfectly set the tone for Halloween — especially with the ghost mask feature. It was straight to the point, delivering exactly what you’d expect from a spicy seasonal read. There weren’t any plot holes (in the little bit of plot we had), and it hit that fun, eerie vibe just right. A solid 3-star read for a quick, Halloween-themed smutty fix.

This was such a sinfully fun, fast read. Um hello lesbian masked stalker trope anyone? Chasing her through a warehouse and strapping her to within an inch of her life? The tension and dynamics between Ez and Nessa definitely changed something in my brain chemistry. Recommend for anybody wanting a dark, unhinged, and smutty sapphic erotica.

The tension between fear and desire really drives this, and the dynamic is deliberately unbalanced in a way that gives it bite. The spice fits the tone, and there’s a surprising emotional edge underneath it all.
