Breed 22 — Apache Blood: Series Finale

Rate this book
The final novel in the series ...

With his arm round one of the fancy whores from the Sporting House and a bottle of good whiskey in front of him, Captain Cyrus Cutter of the 14th Cavalry was feeling well pleased with himself. He'd just captured that wild Apache renegade, Bramido, and he'd gunned down the proud Indian's squaw, his son and three of his warriors into the bargain. Like shooting fish in a barrel, he was gleefully telling anyone who'd listen.
But there was one thing he hadn't reckoned with. Young Aguilito had miraculously survived the ambush that had snatched both his parents from him, and now he'd teamed up with a half-Chiricahua named Azul — better known to Cutter, perhaps, as Breed.
Together they were determined to free the captive Bramido — and to wreak their own brand of vengeance on the cold-blooded killer who'd put him behind bars.

That's the second time I've completed this series. I started reading it in the seventies and read each book as it was released. I only moved the complete series on to someone else about 10 years ago and regret it now, so it was great to read them all again.
