December 28, 2025DNF @ 22%. Love the tropes (adopted brother, dual virgins, small age gap, forbidden love) but I wasn’t a fan of the writing. Also, too many chapters were focused on them as kids with not much relevance to whatever their current ages are for the rest of the book.

So I finished reading Craving The Sin and I am absolutely in love with this book 😭🤍
The story is so heartbreaking and yet so beautiful at the same time. I was not expecting to feel this much. Like I went in thinking okay dark romance whatever… but no. This was different.
Zoan is my absolute favorite MMC. I do not care. He owns my heart. The stepbrother trope? Obsessed. And the way it was written here? So beautiful. It did not feel cheap or forced. It felt real. It felt slow. It felt like something that was always meant to happen but they were scared of it.
Their forbidden romance was done so beautifully. You can feel the tension growing as they grow up. It is not random. It is not sudden. It builds from childhood. From small moments. From protection. From comfort.
And Zoan… his childhood literally broke me.
I was so sad for him while reading. Like genuinely sad. Imagine being a child and living like that. Being treated like you are the reason everything went wrong. And on top of that he cannot even feel physical pain. That just makes it worse because he learned to survive everything without reacting. He became cold because that is how he stayed alive.
When he got adopted and met Avira, that is when everything slowly started changing. She was the only person who could reach him. The only person he allowed close. He hates being touched but not by her. That says everything.
The way he protects her is not loud. It is constant. It is natural to him. Even when he tries to act like just a brother, you can see it is more. The jealousy. The tension. The way he watches her. It is all there.
And when they finally start accepting their feelings, it feels intense because they both know it is wrong in other people’s eyes. That is what makes it even stronger. The forbidden part makes it hurt more but also makes it more beautiful.
There is this line where he says, “I don’t feel pain when I get injured. But when I see you in pain, I feel it in my body.” And I swear that line stayed with me. Because it shows how deeply connected he is to her. She is the only thing that makes him feel.
Even when he tries to push her away and call things a mistake, you can tell he is lying to himself. He has loved her for so long. He just thinks he does not deserve her.
And when he gets hurt later and still keeps going because he cannot feel pain… but breaks when he sees her crying? 😭😭 man in love.
This book is intense. It is emotional. It is protective. It is messy in the best way. But most of all, it is about two people who grew up together and slowly realized they were never meant to just be stepbrother and stepsister.
Zoan will stay in my head for a long time. He is dark, protective, jealous, obsessed, but at the same time so broken and soft only for her.

Also, the microcosm of secondary characters is incredible, I felt compelled and addicted to every page and every exchange. This was an amazing book and I can’t wait to read more from the author!

Le cose che si dicono, poi… un amore bellissimo. Come bellissimi sono tutti i personaggi secondari, una vera e propria famiglia allargata. Davvero una bella scoperta, leggerò sicuramente altro dell’autrice!

I loveeeee it 😭 I was hoping to get a book on Zloban and Avira from the epilogue of Obsession He Craves and then it drops and my god it is everything. I’m still in awe of how much I’ve read in such a short book.
The forbidden tension was so thick like damn 😩 they both loved each other so much yet can’t get together 💔 and by love i mean love here not some high degree of lust. this thing was so fresh to read we don’t get many books like that anymore and it’s a slow burn filled with pure chemistry 🔥
Apart from the main couple, the side characters were so interesting too and like every other book of hers, Noyar has shown such amazing family dynamics 💖 I used to think Mikhailov brothers were the best but no Leo and Zo just broke that record for me. Avi and Wen are so amazing omg now i want a sister 😭
Got a glimpse of Matleon and Iselyn’s story and now i can’t wait to read them and let’s not forget Elowen and her kidnapper. This series is going to be absolutely insane 🔥🖤 and I’m here for it❤️

I enjoy taboo stories of sibling love so I was excited to read this one.
It started out strong, though I initially did get confused with all the family connections since I haven't read the author's other books. I liked Zoan's backstory and his introduction to Avi. The progression from their childhood up to the main part of the story was done well.
However, I felt that Avi was really immature. Granted she was 18/19 but I felt that immaturity was just her psersonality, you know? And I also don't like how Zo was good at every single thing... nobody is that perfect.
There were also a few grammatical errors and some unnatural dialogues especially towards the end that pulled me out of the story.
Overall, it was okay.

Not skilfully written, and I would bet English is not this author’s native language because she has zero command on it and writes pretty cringely + there are grammatical errors galore! And yet, the book is oddly entertaining!! There is chemistry between the main characters, it’s not super slow and the spicy scenes, though less in number, are spicy enough. If you get over the fact that the author doesn’t write very well, and that some of the early years are problematic, and you suspend reality because bits of it are entirely over the top ridiculous, it’s worth a read. I will also read the next book from this author. Lastly, the cover art is horrendous - I hope she gets a better cover designer

The writing is not perfect sometimes I had the feeling it’s AI generated but still I loved the tope.
Adopted siblings forbidden love and the romance and love between this two characters was very realistic.
I loved how they both loved.
My absolutely fav part is were they play this game with the family and secretly whisper the ILY‘s in their ears ❤️that was so sweet written. And then a laught so much during this game and the banter between all of them it was so funny and you felt the connection between all of them.
So even it’s not perfect written still 5 stars for being a simple romance story with great characters no bullshit drama.

⭐️⭐️.5 The book was okay, not memorable in my opinion. The spice was subpar and the story was above average. This is my favorite trope, and the author almost did justice to the characters but, maybe I wanted more angst which was lacking somewhat in the book. It’s a good one time read, though.
