After being involved in a terrible accident I was left in a wheelchair, with the only modern treatment costing more than I could ever imagine. The society I live in is a segregated one, where it may not spoken aloud but everyone knows their place.
In my turmoil, I turned to virtual reality, a brand new virtual reality MMO game called 'End Online' where I could once again walk. Perhaps in this second world I will get another chance.
This is like Sword art online and log horizon, but better. There is no getting trapped in a virtual reality. It is much more plausible, with a 19 year old's journey through a virtual reality roleplaying game.
Hollie. He is just plain awesome with a good story. And loved Shari and Joelle too. Amazing story.
I read many LitRPG books and most of them try to explain why we end in such a word but...
Come on! The plot challenges intelligence " you lost your parents and you don't get any help"... ok " shop do not sell to those from given areas of the city" " the house of your manager falls on you and you're too stupid to take a lawyer and to defend yourself so you just do not say anything". Come on!!!! Who can believe that. "so you get a VR device that remained unused"....
the guy got issues and should try to think harder. when some random dude comes along to rip your family apart, would you just do nothing? I get that he is injured but he didnt talk about it, he didnt look it up and the idea to hide his face in shame *blablabla*...
well i tried to forget about all that and the story went up till the rogue showed up, but she is a total bitch and stole his stuff. He doesnt know that so lets invite her to party. The companion (the maybe best part of the book) aint having that and tries to scare her away but *blablabla* I dropped the series after the second book started with the main caracter invited her to travel together into another city *blablabla*

Truly enjoyed the book. I understand the author's thoughts behind having a faster publishing cycle, especially this being a web novel.
The book could have better editing, since some typos and weird phrasing are present but ultimately can be forgiven since the pacing moves along quite nicely. One of the better LitRPG's around and since it's written in English, no need to wait for translations.
Very well done. This is the second edition, after it was proofread. Still a few errors here and there, but for the most part, it's pretty clean. The story is a good one, and I enjoyed the story. It is kind of short, and the price is a bit high for it's length, but it's a decent enough tale, so if you can swing it, don't hesitate to add this one to your to read list, it's worth the read.
An enjoyable read, and a good addition to the genre. looking forward to the next book. it follows the usual plot lines of LMS and Ark, but I find I actually prefer that. if you can't beat them, join them.
Story line was interesting to me, as it reminded me of an online MMORPG game I'd played several years ago. But there were a lot of typos - and they got worse as the book went along, so much so that I wondered if anyone proof read it. Even with all the typos, I managed to read through to the end, only when it ended, I didn't know it was the end of the book, until I got to the page to rate it. Sadly, I wasn't excited after finishing this to move on to the next book.
MC gets hurt and cannot walk anymore - He takes car of his sisters but they are taken away from him and he tries to make a living by selling stuff in a virtual world.
the story starts slowly but i like it when an author takes time for the setting. The real world beginning lets some questions open but overall the books shows a nice progression of a character. not too much super equipment super fast and the way the MC goes is believable.
Was fun to read.

Forgot to review this one back when I finished it some time April or May. Luckily I left myself some critique notes including the score. Overall, I found this one to be very fun, creative, heartwarming, and badass. There were several moments where my my eyes popped out of my skull from some of the action on the page.
Hollis was a likeable MC, one I was able to cheer for throughout. I liked his creative solutions to many of the problems he faced in the game. Outside the game, he had a lot of insurmountable odds that he faced as well. I liked his close relationship with his little sisters and his desire to protect and provide for them at all costs. It was great seeing them all work hard to keep their little family together.
The game world itself proved to be pretty fun. We only got to see a small part of it, but it was an enjoyable part. I like how the game works overall and these class skills are no exception. Really creative stuff that uses the player's actual skill set in an organic way. The epic showdowns between Lost and Fen made for some of the most badass moments in the book
Some parts of the plot felt a little forced, but that's a small gripe.
So overall I'd give the book high marks for creativity, but average marks for writing style. The short length was only somewhat offputting and though it ended abruptly, it did somehow feel like a complete arc, so overall the length didn't bother me much.
I admit that I entered the volume without high expectations. I was pleasantly surprised. The author fails to fall into the same trap as many authors of this young novel genre before - to let reality become so much more important that the game itself is only an addition. No. In end online we follow a young man who plays as means of an income, but also because inside the game he can walk and finds (slowly) friends. Before too long the reader if following his exploits, his stats and his his hopes.
I am not saying that the novel is perfect. At some points it becomes obvious that this is a webnovel, at others the stats might not mean anything to non-games and some details are not exactly necessary. Still, highly enjoyable.
This book starts off with a pretty good story about a normal person and his life before a life changing accident. This book is a litrpg set in a really cool universe which has loads of potential. The main characters stats aren't a burden, and help to give a feel of progress. Not much in this book, but later in the series, there comes more romance and even a little nudity that doesn't contribute to the plot. Not much, but if you aren't into litrpgs with this, then you might want to not start this cause if you are like me, you'll get hooked into the story. I read the currently available five books in two days, which goes to show how addicting it is. Overall, this book series is pretty good and I have so far enjoyed most of it.
A surprising find! While the description of the book seems a bit lacking itself, it is quite a good read.
Join the new hero as he joins a recently released, and quite enigmatic, virtual reality game called End Online! It was released with no official information other that players would find it out as they played. Sadly, he has bad some bad fortune and an NPC hits him over the head, assigns the character name Lost along with a truly horrible Skill, and kicks him down some stairs. Yeah, that should tell you how awesome this book is going to be. :D
Did you ever have someone ramble on about a game they played--especially one you do not play--ad nauseum and go into way too much detail? Then you will get an idea of what reading this book is like. Where I appreciate the attention to detail and the concept the delivery falls very flat. To be honest the "real" world the protagonist functions in is almost more interesting than this fictional one. I will give his others volumes a try and see if things improve.
Don't get me wrong, this story as well as the 4 sequels are great but way too short. All 5 books took me the same amount of time to read as one normal novel. If I could do it again would I still be willing to buy the books? Yes, but at this price for such small content, 4 star rating is being generous.
While there's nothing especially unique about this novel, it makes a good read when you're commuting, with interesting banters among the characters. Too bad the exposition isn't strong enough to make you ask what's going on in this world
I liked the book well enough however it costed more than it should have considering how short it is. It seemed as if the book ended halfway through the story.
Really good book, the story is hard at first to read but then it turns fun. Both are good so the spreading of emotions along the path of the story line really works well.
Started reading this book before bed and ended up staying awake all night to finish it. Such a gripping story and can't wait to crack on with the rest of the volumes
