This Book Had Me Stressing-Reading Until 3AM and I Have No Regrets
I’m really here for Sutton - she’s got her priorities straight with her daughter, she’s talented, and doesn’t let anyone treat her like she’s less than. Even when Marai was being petty, Sutton kept her cool and didn’t back down.
Tripp caught me off guard. I expected another cocky rich boy, but he’s got layers. The way he talks to Sutton and deals with his family pressure feels real plus he actually sees Sutton for who she is.
But Marai, girl is you cool?! She needs to get together with this fake pregnancy stunt. Knowing Tripp can’t have kids naturally, so she really lying to the whole internet is WILD!
And Jaylin had me seeing red for putting his hands on Sutton with no regard for his baby being present. Clearly still holding onto that connection to Tripp from Jersey and now he’s going to be a serious problem.
That cliffhanger has me invested - I need to know what happens when Tripp confronts Marai, but honestly I’m more worried about what Jaylin is planning.

The Vibe and Energy was 🔥🔥🔥
Sometime life throws you lemons and you have to make lemonade! Life circumstance can change what you thought you may want in life. Living off the beat of your own drum is necessary. Let chat!!
William aka Tripp, was that guy for me🥰! He move on the beat of his own drum or so he thought! Being hit with need to build a LEGACY by his pops changed a lot for him. Knowing his challenges had him slightly bothered but not the way his thought it should 🫣! The way he ignored what was needed of him had me slightly worried. Not just that, his family talking down on his career path didn’t sit well with me😔. Like why my guy wait until the close to the last minute. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t want to build with just anyone so I get it cause Marai was not it 🤣! I’ll chat about her later, but when a favor by Demarco is asked, ya boy was left slightly speechless and smitten when Sutton walked in the room. The way he was in aww behind her had his antenna up 🥰! Not only her voice but her energy to me had him in a chokehold but in a good way! With his antennas already up, he sees a future with Sut and possible a legacy. What I enjoyed the most is that is not just a legacy for him but for her as well, however, only time will tell and I am here for it🥹.
Sutton, love her energy and vibe down. Think she may be one of my favorite FMC’s🥰. She was just that around the way girl who pen game was no joke and not to be played with. Things bothered her but one thing she wasn’t doing was wearing her feelings on her sleeve🤏🏾! She backed down from no one. What she wasn’t expecting was to assist one of the top artist in the game - Tripp. Once she assisted add didn’t expect anything more, but the pressure Tripp was applying she wasn’t ready for nor expected🥹. She definitely wasn’t ready for her walls to fall and when they did baby I was here for it. Contemplating what was asked for her weighed heavy, but everything that Tripp was presenting to her had her thinking of her daughter and their future🥰. The issue I have is her baby daddy - Jaylin. This man here is going to cause issues and she’s not wanting to deal with it😔. Can’t wait to know the outcome cause it’s about to get messy.
Marai, is just a hot mess and the games she’s playing is only going to back fire🤣. She may have been First Lady of Platinum, but how she acting she won’t be for long. Like she’s letting her jealousy show and causing her to act out. See what ya girl but knowing is Ty, Tripp or those affiliated with Platinum plays no games and she will get cancelled 🤣! Honestly hope she does 🫣!
Listen I’m all in with this read. I’m loving Tripp and Sut. It’s their vibe for me! Just hope not too much interfere with them or their plans. I feel that he’s going to get want he wants in the way he didn’t think was possible! Ready for book 2

AMAZING BOOK!
I loved this book so much, Tripp didn’t come to play with Sutton. I love the way Tripp and Sutton connect with each other. There was the perfect ratio of Trauma/Drama/Spice. Suttons vibe just reminds me of everyone’s favorite Homegurl, Always brings great energy and fun. While I though Tripp was going to come off more abrasive he actually has a very calm and gentle spirt also. I can’t wait to see how they navigate the drama in Book 2!

I can't believe how this story ended. It was good from the beginning to the end.
I just hope Marai get what's coming to her manipulative self.
So many pieces of this story got to be exposed for us to get the big picture.
I'm on pins and needles waiting for the next installment.

Fire
Tripp and Sutton story was beautiful.
I love how the author showed what happens in the studio with artists. The fame goes to people's heads.
They are a cute couple. I know that they are going to work out after mess.
There is always one girl because she isn't a woman who wants to be in charge.
I cant wait to the next book.

Tripp definitely gives BDE!! I liked that him & Sutton got along so well with each other. I just hope certain people don’t cause too much discord in the next book. I most definitely cannot wait for part 2
