Mallory wants to get to the bottom of why Sasha showed up at her parents house. After Sasha goes through her story of how she ended up at her father's house, Callie and David drop the bomb that they haven't been married for years, keeping it a secret from their children so it made visits easier. Mallory of all the kids goes off the deep end and leaves the house walking into town and running into her boyfriend James. He sees her almost going to fall, holding onto a building as she walks along. He takes her to the library so she can get her bearings. They sit awhile then James goes to get his car and they go somewhere to talk. Mallory kisses him and he admits that he has had a crush on her since high school, and she has felt the same way too. He takes her back to her parents house and she sorts things out with her mom. Sasha's baby cries and Mallory goes into the den to get her, figuring that she needs to get to know her as Sasha is her half sister now. She apologizes to Sasha and they mend fences. Everything works out for the family, Callie and her vegetable guy Joshua are an item now, David has his gf from years before, Sia, Mallory moves in with James after his aunt passes away. There is a family bbq at their house and David shows Callie the ring he is going to give to Sia when he asks her to marry him! Callie is happy for them. Taylor and Erica get a call while at the bbq and find out from the social worker that they have been accepted for a foster child and they are over the moon! A great story but not sure why but I thought that there would have been a dna test between Sasha and David, he just took it her word that he was the father.

What a tangled web we weave when we first set out to deceive. And deceive is just what Callie and David did. Thinking they were doing what was best for the children, Callie and David set a whirlwind in motion. The well kept secrets are out now… well, they never were secrets to townsfolk but somehow, someway, the children were totally blind to what was happening.
Sasha opens up and tells her own story. This causes a chain reaction of confession, of hurt, of strong emotion — especially for Mallory. She had built her dreams of a future spouse based upon her parents’ marriage. And now she knows it was all a lie.
Remember James, the man who earned Mallory’s attraction? Can he be that one and only love she’s imagined and dreamed about for years? She may be 40, but Mallory realizes she has a lot to learn and it starts with admitting her faults. She’s come to realize she has her own life to live, that she can’t control others nor their choices.
🤔 OBSERVATIONS:
…This book covers many things but the one that stood out to me was how choices can cause collateral damage and affect many.
…Mallory may come across flippant but it’s hard to judge her when everything she’s been taught, learned and believed all her life is based on lies.
…David and Callie made BAD choices…. ‘nuff said.

I have never read a series quite like this one. You never know what turn is was going to take. There are so many surprises, changes & family time. I had no idea it would end up, usually I can figure out some of the mystery most of it the time, but this time it was just a mystery that could go anywhere & anyway. I was disappointed because I wanted David & Callie to get back together. After all the secrets starting coming out they were not stopping & no looking back. When they finally got Sasha to talk & tell her true story, then things started to make sense. That was the shocker for everyone? Some you already knew about David & Callie, but when their kids found out what was going on with their parents they were not happy, especially Mallory! I was disappointed the way the story turned out, but everybody seemed to accept everything the way it turned out. All involved were planning their happy ever after. I wished she had included a little more detail to the lending of the story. I didn’t think she gave enough information to the ending. To me it was too blunt & needed more information, but that might just be me. I like a solid ending.
This book was given to me by Booksprout to review & I have given my honest review inmy own words. I think you will enjoy this series of books.
Since the bombshell secret dropped in book 5, everything has started to kinda settle down somewhat, for the family, in this last book of the series. David and Callie finally told everyone that they had been divorced but still living together for quite a while and they all find out that Sasha is actually David’s daughter. Callie and David move on into new relationships. Callie with her friend Joshua and David with his friend Sia. Also, Mallory finally has found the love of her life, James, and they are renovating his aunt’s house for their future. Taylor and Erica are taking steps to foster a child and hopefully adopt one day. Chris and Ariel have switched roles and Chris is working from home and taking care of their growing children while Ariel is pursuing her dream job. Last but not least Callie and Sasha have developed a mother/daughter type bond and Callie takes care of Dot while Sasha works and attends the community college. They are all working to ultimately become one big happy family.

I'll admit that I took my time reading this one. Part of me wanted to fly through it to get to the end. But another part wanted to savor all the different pieces.
The family Sage Parker built in this series is so realistic. You can't deny that you might see familiar traits and situations in your own life. I know I sure did.
As for the story itself, we get all the answers we need in this one. I don't feel like any mystery was left open. We know about the parents, the siblings, and our main POV character, Mallory.
As far as epilogues go, this one is so well rounded I couldn't do anything but sigh. This is truly a happily ever after for everyone.
Definitely pick this one up if you're looking for a feel good series with a touch of drama.

So we get to see how everything in the family works out. Now that all the secrets are out in the open we can move ahead. The siblings are all working together and they all enjoy having their new baby sister and niece. Mom has moved on with her boyfriend and they will see what the relationship brings, if nothing else then good veggies. Dad and his significant other are traveling together and enjoying their time together. Mallory is in a relationship and happy and all the others are satisfied and happy too. Thank you to Sage for another wonderful story and having such good cliff hangers to make us anxious for the next segment.

Wow, that is a lot of drama to unfold in one sitting. Callie and David were truly wrong for keeping their kids in the dark about their relationship, but it is understandable. Their friendship after marriage is truly honorable and I love how much they love each other even after marriage in a platonic way. Sasha and Dot finally found a home and love. I was so heartbroken for her loss. This was so good and had me on pins and needles. I think it is one of Sage Parker's best cozy mystery series yet, but I am a bit bias as I've loved them all!.

Well, the truth has finally been revealed and while the children are all in shock, they all finally realise that their parents are happy and have already moved on with their lives and they need to do the same. Mallory seems to have finally found love with James and she is getting her own disaster of a life together. Everything is falling into place nicely for everyone and even Callie and David are able to move forward with their respective partners. This has been a fabulous series and I am always eager to read more of Sage Parker’s books.

This is book #6 in the Ferndale Secrets series by Sage Parker.
Wow! Sasha comes clean with her story and how she ended up at Callie and David’s home. Then Callie and David’s hands are forced and they have to come clean with the secret they’ve been keeping. Let the fireworks begin. I don’t know if it’s realistic for things to wrap up the way they did after the big announcements, but I’d like to believe it is. Jumping forward a year for an update on everyone was a wonderful way to close the story. This was another heartwarming series by Sage Parker.

This was a good series and a lot of emotions, secrets and resolutions. There was a lot of secrets that came out in this book and full of different emotions from all the different family members. Sasha revealed her secret about David which in turn led Callie and David to reveal their long held secret. Their children did not initially take it well but it was all resolved. I did think it was resolved a bit quickly for such a long held secret of such magnitude. I highly recommend this book to all women's fiction readers.

Coming Home For Fall book 6 ends the Ferndale Secrets series. This was a series that was full secrets. Sasha, coming to live with David and Callie opened the box and as the story progressed more secrets were revealed. I highly recommend this series be read in order so everything will make sense as you read. Sage Parker again has given her readers a wonderful story and there is a lot to be revealed by each and every member in the book.

When Sasha is done with her story, but Mallory is not sure she is telling the truth, she goes for a walk, which she ends with James finding her and helping her see both sides. Can the sublish come together and welcome her and Dot, or not? Can Mallory find that love is standing in front of her? So many questions asked and answered, read, and found the end.

-A whirlwind of long-held secrets finally comes to light in this concluding installment. I received a free copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts.
The drama wraps up with satisfying closure after a series that truly tested reader patience. Emotions run high, revelations shock, and long-awaited truths are finally delivered.
A fitting end to a journey filled with suspense, resilience, and heartfelt moments.
Sasha finally told the story as to why she came to Ferndale, and to Callie and David’s house. Everyone was speechless. Mallory didn’t believe her. That would mean her father was unfaithful! Either way Sasha and Dot had been thru a hard life. What would happen? Would the two of them be welcome by the rest of the family and would Mallory come to except them? Or would Sasha have to look for another home? I received a free book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Wow! This series is my favorite yet. It has been filled with action and secrets. All secrets have now been revealed, but I was not prepared for the outcome. This book is filled with love: finding it, recognizing it and showing it. I do not want to spoil this for any reader, but I assure you this is a complete series you will love and fully enjoy. Get it now !.

This has been a gripping story filled with secrets, deception and twists and turns. It’s been an emotional rollercoaster as we have woven our way through the lies and the drama. Once the revelations start, they keep on rolling one after the other, some I saw coming, others I didnt. Family relationships, romance, it’s realistic and true to life and I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know this family.
This is the final book in the series. It’s been an interesting journey. Mallory coming home early for Thanksgiving and finding love unexpectedly. David & Callie tell everyone their secret they’ve been keeping for 20 years. Sasha comes clean and tells her story.
A fascinating ending to a great series as secrets are unraveled and an interesting situation in the family is revealed. The parents' relationship with each other and with their children is now in the open and emotions are high. I highly recommend this book and series.

Coming Home For Fall, Book 6, concludes the story of the Ward family. Each family member is able to obtain what makes them happy in their life even though there were some chaotic and highly emotional moments on their journey toward happiness. This was an excellent series which I recommend.
