I need more asap
I’m so mad at Dai!!! I knew she was going to do my bae dirty!!! Milly was too good to be treated like that. She messed with this man’s OPP and didn’t know it. I knew Fabian was Frost! I really thought Fabian knew it. It’s crazy how he perused her not knowing she was Milly’s woman. She wasted a lay. Dude gave off BDE and wasn’t working with nothing. Dai had the full package at home. I need Milly to get a real woman. I can’t wait for the next part. I feel like Dai isn’t gone. I was thinking Fabian or his ppl rescued her at first, but he’s coming at Milly sideways and spilling the beans. It’s good Dai is mia because they baby probably was Fabe (Frost). I need Mav to find real love. He’s a hot mess lol. I love it though! P Wise, you know you be writing these books!!!

WOW
This book had my attention from beginning to end. The author did a great job with the character development. It gives professional by day and gangster by night. Life as a mortician is not for the weak and I love how we get a glimpse of what really goes on as a mortician. Milan takes his job seriously in that element. Milan and Maverick are like yin and yang, but when it comes to business, things dont get done without the other knowing. Just as secrets are revealed and emotions run high, we are left with a cliffhanger that has you like NO WAY, CAN'T BE. Daija, where are you?. Looking forward to what happens in part 2

The Millionaire Mortician by P. Wise… baybeee this one was wild. Milan, a mortician by day but a straight menace by night. ⚰️🔥 Add in that twin energy with Maverick, and whew, the mess was built in. He’s cold, ruthless, and locked in with the streets.
Now Daija… she doesn’t have curves or flash😩, but she’s his peace. 🖤 And listen, that dynamic really worked for me. BUT lorddd this girl was big dumb at times 😩 the way she moved had me hollering at the book. Forever with a man like Milan? Yeah, that ain’t easy.
The vibe was dark, gritty, and addictive. Some parts had me side-eyeing 👀 like “why we here?” but it never lost my attention and I kept flipping pages to see how it would all play out.
If you love your street romance messy, dramatic, and full of chaos, this one’s for you. Sidenote, it is a to be continued read, but not really a cliffhanger, if that makes sense.

Really good plot. This one kept me on my toes toward the end, and I was locked in the whole way through. My only complaint is that the ending felt rushed, like everything started building perfectly and then the story suddenly hit fast-forward.
Daija, though… girl. She is really small-minded. That man set her up for success, supported her, believed in her, poured into her… and she fumbled it all for some mediocre peen. Chileee boo. The way she ruined her own blessings had me shaking my head. Anyway bye heaux!
Good story overall, but whew…that ending and Daija’s decisions had me wanting to scream into a pillow.

whew! 4.5 stars
Now that was a good book. One of the better ones that I have read in a long time. It started off a little bit slow and I was unsure if I even wanted to finish it but once it started going it really started going. I only feel slightly bad for Daija’s “ending”. I was in my head cursing her out something good! Like girllll your man just did what for you? And you repay him like that? I do hope to see her again just to find out how her situation will end up, bc I just know it can’t end like that!!!!

Milan really wasn’t a bad guy, he just didn’t know how to balance everything is his life including Daija. Daija put her life on hold on promises Milly made and unfortunately what he lacked she went looking elsewhere. I hate she even took that route with the opp, but she was searching for something Milly wasn’t providing her. Milly loved her though he was a protector-‘d provider, but it seems he was emotionally unavailable. Work came before anything. The cliffhanger though whewww I can’t wait for book 2.

This book took me through it and I ate up every second!😭 I need this next book Expeditiously, BY TOMORROW !! I went from soft girl era to hood 🥷🏾 as I got further in. I really did not think this book would have me ready to knock Dai in her head the way it did! Milan and his BDE really made this book for me. The way he was respectful until he got disrespected!! I ate this book up!! I can’t wait to see what’s next

Ms. P Wise, come to the front!!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 This book had me hooked from the first chapter!! I was rooting for Milly and Dai but Dai ain’t deserve that man at all 🙄 I like the topics that were explored in this book, and I most definitely appreciate the mortuary aspect of the book because it’s different, I have never read a book about a mortician, and a mix of that with street life?! just knew this would be a wild ride! Immediately started book 2, so I’ll see y’all in that review 😜

The plot twist was crazy!!
Okay so the beginning of the book would have never made me think that girl would fumble that good man for nooooo reason!! Like I was really trying to figure out what he did that would make her do what she did. I wanna see what Milan does in book 2. Cause my mouth dropped all the way lol.

I love how Milan loved Daija. He gave her everything she needed except more time. That could have been remedied with more communication. Frost has made an enemy with the wrong people. He has no idea what Milly & Mav are capable of. I can't wait for Mav's book he is hilarious
