The Saint's Bloodeater
The Ice Breaking Ceremony has started, and that means the Wind Hound will soon set sail—with Dante’s target and entire world on board.
Although he is now Terahime’s Blood Champion, Dante is still persona non grata. When he finds out that Marquis is on the Wind Hound, he makes it his mission to convince the captain to allow him on board, despite the crew's insistence that bloodeaters are not welcome.
When a deckhand volunteers to be his food source, Dante’s guilt threatens to eat him alive. Still, he agrees to be confined to the galley as the ship’s cook, accepting the price of constant surveillance.
John can’t help but sense Dante’s restlessness. His shield has been throwing himself into dangerous fights, talking to his sword, and even participating in Guild missions. A lot of blood, both his and their enemies’, has been spilled during his recovery. As his own guilt takes hold, he stalks Dante, following him to an adventure on the high seas. Showing Dante he can hold his own may prove difficult, but under these confined conditions, they finally have the opportunity to at last let go of guilt and start working together.

Review of advance copy
Dante and John the MEN you are!!! OMG since the very beginning I've always been #TeamDante and over the course of the series I have bragged about Dante nonstop and while I'm still gonna be doing that, Saint John stood on business in this book!!
Not that John was ever lacking but reading book 4 made me realize he is severely underrated and I love him because like I said HE STOOD ON BUSINESS John did not come to play he proved to be more than just a priest, Dante's lover, the greatest Knight's grandson, the Saint .... Nope....John showed he IS more than fit in being Dante's equal, his partner!
Moving on because I will ramble about these two nonstop!
Fallen Arbor has been the bane of our lives since the start of the journey and they've ALWAYS been steps ahead of us, but like a famous Jamaican proverb: "yuh nose affi run if yuh waan good" and it loosely translates that you go through bad to get to the good and man did my beloved boys go through it.
FINALLY, our side is, dare I say, now on equal standing!! Dante has powerful allies, his love, talent, family, and the three most powerful weapons in his arsenal: the knowledge, his never-ending evolution, and the one and only * hehe yeah I'm not gonna spoil it.
Not to mention the shocking discovery of a returning villain maybe even two who never truly left when you really think about it.
Whew so much to talk about with this book, THIS SERIES! And I for one am looking forward to more of it because the world-building, the system, the politics, and the characters are all phenomenal.

This is a steamy, mm, high fantasy, vampire, forbidden romance so yeah it hits all the boxes. The characters are done well and the plot is great.

Officially the only Fantasy Romance to make my cry after reading almost 70 books in the last 8 months. I am so aggravated that i now have to wait until more books come out to finish the boy's story.

Just when I think it's going to end you keep us wanting. I really enjoyed how Dante evolved in this book. I'm really looking forward to the next one.
