This was a cute Halloween read
We follow Claire the only single friend in her group. Who is peer pressured into what she thinks is a singles Halloween mixer, but when she arrives she finds herself as the contestant on a show like bachelorette but with real monsters!! Claire just good naturally goes along with it with little to no questions or fight.
Cozy, feel good vibes. It had me giggling in places and aww-ing at the ending!
No spice.

I read this book for Bookmark Baddies Tic-Tac-Toe game. Who knew it would be so hard to find a novella with a ghost on it that is not a children’s book. 😂
If you love watching the bachelor or dating shows, then this novella is for you.

Picture this, a speed dating game show with the classic horror monsters as the bachelors. I saw this and thought it sounded fun, and oh boy was it. It’s only a small read but it left me wanting more. I wanna know how things work out with the guy (monster) she chooses. This was such an enjoyable and quick read.

This was a really cute, quick read full of Halloween fun. I finished it in less than an hour, so it's a perfect little palate cleanser between darker/heavier books. It's also clean, with no spice which was refreshing.
