This volume collects the last six issues of Cody Ziglar's Miles Morales series, which form two three-part stories.

The opening story has Miles teaming with Misty Knight and the Black Cat to foil two new thieves, White Cat and Inari. There's nothing majorly surprising here, but it's fun at least. White Cat and Inari are enjoyable enough that I'd like to see them again, so that's a plus, and this is the first time I've seen Luigi Zagaria's art and not felt like he's trying to imitate somebody else's style.

The final three issues then bring Miles face to face with Rabble once more to close down that storyline for now, as well as the most memorable villain from Saladin Ahmed's Miles run, the Assessor, with some help from the OG Spider-Man, freshly back from space.

I did enjoy this volume, probably more than the last few. It felt complete, and a nice endcap to everything Ziglar had introduced to Miles's world so far, as well as tying in to the Ultimate Incursion mini-series to act as a springboard for Miles's next adventures.

I will say that the same problem I've had with pretty much this entire run persists here - Miles feels secondary in his own story most of the time, except for when things focus in on just he and Rabble in the last issue or so. While I like the guest stars, it's always felt like Ziglar doesn't have the faith in Miles to let him run the show, instead having to prop him up with all these extras.

While this final volume of Cody Ziglar's Miles Morales series has the same problem as most of the other volumes, it's at least a satisfying conclusion to his run overall.

Good ending to this run of Miles even if it felt a bit drawn out. I have a feeling that one of the great eras of this character is about to happen.

Highlights/Summary:
- Small time criminals Inari and White Cat are ramping up their crime and Miles and Misty Knight grab Black Cat to help track them down. Turns out they are working for Black Obsidian and they join with the heroes to take him down.
- Raneem (also known as Rabble) has been going to see the same therapist as Miles. When they cross paths at the office, their hatred reignites and they begin to battle. Suddenly, an AI that Rabble was working on known as Assessor attacks them both. Temporarily forming an alliance to defeat him, they still have trouble.
- As Miles begins to blackout from losing, he cries out for help and receives it in a favor from Anansi (who has a soft spot for him now) who sends Peter to help (freshly back from space, though I need to read that adventure!) and together they are able to stop Assessor. Rabble has vanished.

Good read, and good run by Ziglar.

If anything, Ziglar's ENTIRE run was about Rabble...

Miles is learning how to be present and have a healthy superhero/home life. It isn't easy, but he's getting to use the tools 'Powerlift' has helped him aquire. No global threats or gods to team up with. It's back to the basics of school, relationships, and superheroing.

More therapy for Miles. Glimpses of therapy for Rabble...
'You meet people where they are, not where you want them to be'.

I like that the non hero bits are incredibly grounded for a lead character. Kind of knocks the stigma of therapy down a few pegs if heroes are seen as needing someone to talk to too.

It looks like Ziglar was saving the best for last. A couple of three-issue stories that focus more on Miles and how he's dealing with things in his everyday life. In the first three, we've got a couple of thieves, the White Cat and Inari, trying to pay off a debt to a small-time crime lord. And in the final issues, Miles comes face-to-face with Raneem/Rabble and the return of the Assessor. In both cases, the focus is on how Miles is processing his feelings and learning to deal with being Spider-Man and having a life away from super-heroics. The Rabble/Assessor story was probably the stronger of the two, but I enjoyed the White Cat/Inari story just as much, as we get to see Miles help some people, which is largely his reason for being (plus Peter Parker shows up for a stretch, too, to really hammer that home). The art is strong throughout, too. I hope it won't be too long before the mantle is picked up again and Miles is back on the streets of Brooklyn.

At least this final volume of Miles goes out on kind of a high note because for once I didn't feel disappointed. It begins with a teamup with Misty Knight and Black Cat going after some new thieves. Then Rabble returns for the final 3 issues. This series has revolved around her and Commander Gao (who is the worst character). Rabble can't get over herself and ends up reviving the Accessor. He returns but isn't nearly as threatening this go around even though he's leveled up. Anyway, not bad but it was time for this series and it's nonstop interruptions for crossovers to end.

Pretty fun though Miles will still take some time to grow on me maybe?
Cetainly this was not bare on interesting characters I haven't met before and on the whole I enjoyed the art too.
