Cash Ransome is a rock star with a bad reputation.

When his hard partying lifestyle finally catches up with him, his brothers and band-mates convince him it’s time to get out of the spotlight. A few weeks in the middle of nowhere sounds like the worst kind of punishment to Cash—until he meets Sam.

Samantha Warner is looking for something to distract her from the complications of her messy life.

When Cash Ransome shows up at her favorite bar, she figures she’s hit the jackpot. His reputation proceeds him, and Cash’s no-strings-attached lifestyle is just what Sam is looking for.

Spending time with Sam has Cash confused—if they’re just supposed to be friends, why can’t he stop thinking about her? And if he’s not made for commitment, why is he dreading the day he has to walk away?

Cash is the wild child chasing his rockstar status right to the bottom of a tequila bottle. He can't seem to find the peace and happiness he expected to have with ultimate stardom.

"...I've been screwing around with girls pretty much since I was old enough to understand that I wanted to. So it really is saying something to admit that Samantha Warner, a girl I'd known for a few hours had just completely and entirely blown my mind."

That is until Sam. She sweeps him off his feet but the problem is she doesn't want to be swept off hers.

"If you think I'm the kind of girl that expects all her drinks to be paid for, you're sorely mistaken."

Their stories are very different but they both have "scars" to overcome before they can be happy. She also has Wyatt, her son, who has to be her first priority.

It's heartbreaking and sweet and when Cash is being romantic you will swoon. And every time these brothers (and Daisy) come together to help each other get through the hard times I just melt. They are the most awesome set of guys. Never perfect...but perfect if you know what I mean.

This HEA might just be a little harder to get but so worth it.

To me this is the hardest read in the series. Being a mother is what I am most proud of and I would do anything for my children. The fact that Sam our heroine lost herself so much that it affected her ability to parent. Ugh. HEARTBREAKING!

Cash his is probably the biggest a hole out of all the brothers in the band. He also takes on the roll of rockstar the most. Having said that he also had some of the deepest wounds and trust issues.

I will say I probably struggled with this story the most. I am not sure someone struggling with sobriety should make some of the final choices at the end of this book. It was a bit of a hard sell for me I don’t care how much therapy you have had.

Overall this book is good but it left me with a tight chest and near tears for a good portion of the story.

Eek. Happy Reading.

This series just keeps getting better and better!! I love this book because it is different than the others. Cash and Sam both start out really struggling, and end up holding each other in a way neither of them knew was possible. Also, I LOVE WYATT!! He is such a sweetheart and I love him. (His book is one of my favs on the next gen series ngl!)
All in all, this is a fantastic read and will be on my recommendation list forever.
Happy reading!! 💕✨

Wonderful Series

The Ransom boys all have demons in their past and fortunately find true happiness with strong women. Cash finally gets his act together and falls in love with Sam, who has her own demons to conquer. So pleased they both get a HEA. Looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

This was a hard one to start and get into. The author had a hard time with the transition of Cash from a womanizer to someone who wants a committed relationship. The middle of the book was really good, and the ending was perfect for Cash and Sam. I'm happy I stayed with it.

I gave this book 4 stars because I liked the story line but if you are looking for steamy rock star romance there is really not much steam. More angst than anything. Not saying it is not well written but lacking in actual curl your toes moments.... they are few and far between.

4.5 stars - this series is a gem!

Book 3 - a little something from Cash - yay!

Cash is in a dark place following revelations of his playboy & partying lifestyle. Whilst Ransom remain big they whether this latest storm by going to a quiet Seattle town to write & record the new album.

Cash is despondent from the music & his brothers but the intervention of going to Seattle set him on a different journey - he meets Sam.

Sam joins her cousin on a night out following a day spent with her young son Wyatt, who we learn does not live with her but with his grandparents. It soon becomes clear why this is and what happened to Wyatt's dad and also Sam.

Sam is reluctant for more than one night as her son is her priority but Cash has other ideas and decides to go after what he wants.

Cash charms both her & her son and they steady each other's storms but their demons are never far away and Cash had me giving him virtual butt kicks at one stage. Cash & Sam both grow and end in a better happy place.

We have Lennon's story next..I'm thinking it's a sad one but hope I'm proved wrong.

I would love to follow the Ransom brothers. Each book gets better.

Sam and Cash each have their own demons to overcome. As Cash looks at his life and what it has become he realizes many things about himself. While he is trying to figure out why he is doing what he is doing, his brothers are trying to keep the band together with all the Ransom brothers. Each is trying to help the Cash but he refuses to open up to them. He doesn't want to admit to his brothers what is really happening.

Sam has her own demons to slay. Having a child that she wants to keep and a life that she is trying to overcome is a daily obstacle for her. Sam's son brings a new level into this story. Sam needs to learn that all the things she feels about herself are not true, that she is keeping herself down. She needs to forgive herself.

This book is about self forgiveness and finding the one that makes you realize that you aren't as horrible as you think you are.

I definitely didn't expect this story line but I really liked it. I loved the slow burn of it all and how they really focused on being a better "me" before they became a "we". These two are very similar in lot of ways when it comes to defense mechanisms so they have this great base to allow growth between them.

I love Cash. The Ransom brothers keep getting better with every book. Oh how I could crave to follow some hot rock stars for awhile lol. This book was really emotional. Not just for the new couple but for Sam and her past. Plus having a little 8 year old boy just makes the situation more vulnerable with her trying to make a future for the both of them. This book shows a lot of character growth in Cash, not only because he's moving past his "rock star bad boy" stage in his life, but he's also taking it upon himself to take care of Sam and her boy Wyatt. The maturity in that alone shows amazing strength in becoming a new man. All in all I'd say this book is really good and I reccomend it to others. But of course you need to read the first 2 books in the series first! lol. Can't wait for Lennon's story!

Sam and Cash each have their own demons that seem to be winning the battle. Neither is looking for more complications, just a temporary distraction. They get drawn into something they can't make sense of, and have to figure out if they're willing to work for happiness.

I cannot believe it wasn't Cash and Karen, but this was even better! I liked the new characters, and now I'm bugging out waiting to see if Penny is for Lennon. Rachel Schurig does such a great job of using subjects that real people go through and teaching those of us who haven't experienced them what they must feel like for people who have. The Ransom series just keeps getting better and better.

When I read the first book in this series, I thought that would be my favorite. Then I read book 2 and it became my favorite. Now onto book 3 and it's my favorite. I always wanted to know more about Cash and I couldn't wait for this book. Rachel Schurig sure knows how to write books. When I think about these boys, I feel like they are here with me. It's something that Rachel does with her characters. I am so invested in the characters, I will be devastated when I have have finished all the books. Another 5 star my friend!

I loved this book, again this is not my first time reading it, but I was a bit lazy when it came to reviewing it.
I was pulled into this book right from the start, I laughed, I cried, I got frustrated, I got annoyed and I wanted to smack someone.
But I still could not put the book down until I had read the last word. Watching the story play out in my head while reading the words only adds to my enjoyment.
This series is one of my favourite rock band series and one i never. I never tire of reading.
Highly recommend it to all you rock band fans out there.

I enjoyed Redeem but not quite as much as the books before it. Cash has been changed by the rock star lifestyle a lot more than his brothers were, so I didn't connect to him as well as I did to his brothers and each book's heroine. I love the way the series tackles mental health issues and can't wait to read Lennon's book.

Great third addition to the series. Quite taken a back by the story at the start but really got into it and as always I couldn't put it down until I finished it at 2am this morning! Really hoping for Lennons version next. If you liked the Maddox brothers series then this will be a perfect read for you

I can't believe it wasn't Cash and Karen after the other books, but this was even better! Now we just need to bring Levi back so Karen and Penny both can have one of the boys. Can't wait until book 4!

Good.

I think the whole book was good. But, this was an actual but mistake. I meant to buy the second book, and I accidentally bought this one. However, I do not regret it at all! This story was amazing.
