The Mark is a coming of age story that follows Gary through his time at the Naval Academy. I enjoyed the found family aspect of this story and seeing how Gary connected with Darnell, Peter (Newbs), and Brenna. Gary intended to use invisibility throughout his time at the Academy, but he did learn that there’s a difference between doing what’s right and standing to the side. I loved seeing his character growth throughout the book. This book kept me involved, and I flew through it pretty quickly. Thank you so much to Anne Keene for providing me with a copy of this book to review!
