Wild Darling by Alexandra Moody was another super cute YA romance that pulled me in straight away. Just like the other books in the series, it was such a fun and easy read, and I found myself hooked from the very beginning.
While I didn’t connect with the romance quite as much as I did in the other two books, it was still incredibly sweet and enjoyable. The story had that same light, addictive vibe that makes these books so easy to fly through, and I loved spending more time in this world.
Overall, this was a really fun read and a great addition to the series. If you enjoy cute, fast-paced YA romances that you can get lost in for a few hours, this one is definitely worth picking up.

Parker forcing the team to make friendship bracelets to work better together, having team parties, and BEING A MAN WHO NEVER DOUBTED A GIRL PLAYING ON HIS TEAM!!!!
Mackenzie being a supportive sister, amazing rival, beautiful girl, fighter, INSPIRATION!! All while being a girl??? Perfect.
Having Reed and Greyson make appearances with PAIGE and VIOLET??? Loved literally I screamed!
Also did Alexandra Moody reference that mayyyybe we would get a CAMMIE book??? Because I hope so I feel like that all this series is needing.

black cat fmc x golden retriever mmc is definitely one of my fave tropes, throw in the enemies to lovers vibes and their constant bickering & banter, I LOVED it🥹
I enjoyed the story of this one, we love some women in sports rep & although I hated Mackenzie’s dad to begin with, he redeemed himself in the end⛸️
Loved the Darling Devils cameos❤️🔥
Overall really enjoyed this! Such an easy read with not too much depth to the plot but perfect for a YA read!

The Darling Devils did it AGAIN!! This book probably had the wittiest banter I have ever read. Their slow burn and tension will have you genuinely giggling and kicking your feet (seriously). Wild Darling truly encapsulates a rom-com. Parker and Mackenzie will make you laugh out loud! Alexandra does a perfect job at mixing their swoon with sass and attitude. And if you know Parker from the previous books, that is so fitting for him.
Mackenzie: She is such an inspiring female lead! She took charge in a male dominated sport and the book talked a lot about what that was like for her, which I enjoyed. I’ve seen a lot of book recs for strong fmc’s on booksta lately, and Wild Darling needs to be added to that list asap. I can guarantee you will love Kenzie’s character. Like I said if you know Parker from Grumpy Darling and Rival Darling, you are going to love how perfect this fmc is for him.
Parker: We all know Parker as the younger brother playboy, so I was extra excited to see where his story went with this book. And it did not disappoint. Fans of the darling devils will love getting to see his character bloom into a team leader andddd reformed playboy. Alexandra did an outstanding job at writing Parker to become strong and independent, while still keeping his sass and wild side. (As mentioned in the book title 😅) And when I tell y’all this boy yearns. HE YEARNS. And falls first!
Fans of Rival Darling and Grumpy Darling will be very pleased to know that Reed and Grayson make some appearances along with their girlfriends in this book! I really hope the next book in the series is Cammie’s book! And I’m hoping it might be with a certain someone. But don’t take my word for it. I do feel like Wild Darling’s ending was a tad bit rushed, but the witty banter and yearning 100% makes up for it.

parker has been my favorite darling since the very first book, so I had a feeling this was going to be my book, and it ended up being even better than I expected.
honestly, I avoided reading the last two chapters because I didn’t want it to end. I was in that horrible moment where you need to know how everything ends, but at the same time you know that once you read those pages… there’s nothing left after that (my friends can confirm)
WHAT. A. BOOK.
the tension between them from the very beginning was everything to me. I loved that it was a real slow burn, that their relationship built slowly instead of everything happening out of nowhere.
there were so many moments where I caught myself smiling while reading, and that’s always everything.
and now I’m just hoping that one day we’ll get the story of the youngest darling, because I feel like she still has a lot to say 💋

Oh how I loved this book.
The tension, the romance, the plot, the characters, just everything was so beautiful.

Parker - Absolutely awesome, as to be expected. He was everything I wanted from him and more. The way he didn’t know what to do because he was so in love with Kenzie when he knew he shouldn’t be? Genuinely the guy was the definition of down bad and I loved it so much.
“You drive me crazy too.”
Mackenzie - she was a total icon. After everything that happened the girl deserved a happy ending. She handled everything with her dad like a pro and I felt so bad for her. Her dynamic with Parker and her relationship with her brother was amazing and I want to be her. (Jk, but not really)
I love every single thing about the darling devils, and this book did not disappoint. And the Grayson and Reed appearances made my day. I think the next book should be about Cammie and a relationship with her skating partner but he should also be a hockey player. I feel like that would be amazing.
Overall I will never stop recommending these books and hope Alexandra Moody never stops writing them.

I was really looking forward to Parker's story. All the elements I liked were in the book; enemies to lovers trope, a female protagonist on equal level as the male counterpart, in that she is also a hockey player and sassy to boot, except I didn't feel the chemistry between Parker and Mackenzie.
And the writing was not in the same level as the first two books in the series, which makes me wonder, should I re-read this book just in case when I read it I was compromised in some way...I was getting over my flu...
Subjectively, Parker always came across from the two books like a much younger brother, even though he is only one year younger, who at times felt like a brat. In this book, he is a senior and feels the pressures to win, but to me, I didn't feel the maturity of his age. Though the author tried. I think this is because there was no development of his character in the first two books.
Plus, now Reed and Grayson are away at collage, there was less parts with the Darling family and their dynamic, which was one of the best thing about the series.
Nonetheless, I'm hoping we get Cammie Darling's story. Seth?

This book just came out a week ago on KU, and I was amazed by how much I LOVED wild darling

The characters are so different from the previous two instalments - Parker is his brothers’ shadow, trying to find his way and prove he’s worthy of become Captain in his senior year. And Mackenzie, I loved her, and I think she really inspires female readers about ice hockey that we know is a male-dominated sport, as so many are, but she’s so strong and resilient that she easily becomes your favourite Darling female protagonist.
I loved everything, even if it were a little cringy, but hey, it makes up for it with its humour and how easy it was to read! I finished it in two days!

I love myself a good enemies to lovers and forbidden romance book and this one hit the spot with The perfect amount of banter!
This is officially my favourite in the series, and I love how women are finally getting recognition in men’s sports lately in books😍
Both Parker and kenzie have something to prove, not only to themselves but to everyone around them and after an unfortunate incident a few years prior that they find themselves together once again.
This is the perfect YA hockey book and if you have read the previous books you will absolutely love this. It was such an easy read and I finished it in a few hours!

Omg this book! DEVOURED. INHALED. NEED IT INJECTED IN MY VEINS. I knew the obsession Parker’s book would bring would rival all other books but omg Parker Darling the man you are. I’ve fallen in love w another fictional character. Alert your book boyfriend lists, Booktok! Parker Darling has arrived.
This was enemies to lovers at its finest and Mackenzie and Parker are absolute perfection. I loved Mackenzie and what she represented as a woman in a male dominated field refusing to back down. I adored the cameos from characters from the previous books and I need Cammie and Seth’s book rn pls! (yes, ik it was a joke but i’m not kidding about how much they would change my life)

okey that book was just mindbloing , it's just so god dam good . i loved every chapter of it , every action , every word that was writed . alexandra just made this book in a way i can never discribe , the way it maked me on my toes full of excitment and joy and a big smile on my face all the time . i finished the book on one day it's just that good . the only thin that maked him a 4.8 stars not 5 stars is just felt like it's missing something in the end , just another chapter that shows the bonding of the darling family and the foster one , also a little time with the darling devils ( aahh i will miss that nickname so much ) and their girlfriends . this is my favourite book of the serie i loved the 2 others but this one is unique .
