V for Vilified

Rate this book
My love life's always been a little bit complicated, but a sprouting romance with super villains might just prove to be my biggest challenge yet.

I was only getting back into my Hunter groove when the ancient super villain working for the Organization decided to play dirty. Kate's been kidnapped to the Fae realm, and only I can get her back. Except, it's not exactly going to plan. I'm now stuck in another realm with a hundred and one problems, and Cash is one.

My life has turned into a fated mates joke. 'Tis the Season and I've somehow bonded with three people, and one of them just so happens to be my enemy. This supposed god is willing to do whatever it takes to have me, and no one and nothing will stand in his way.

New enemies, new love problems, and new Fae blood discoveries might just mean that I never make it back to the human realm again. It could mean leaving the life I'd built behind, but I'd rather die fighting instead. If I become the weapon they always claimed I was, can I get home? If I embrace my inner villain, can I finally do what I'd planned to do from the start? Guess I'm about to find out.

Brianna West is an Amazon Bestselling author. She eats words for breakfast. When not nose-deep in a hot paranormal read, she's writing about slick, muscly goodness and the bad-ass, sassy heroine goddesses who find them. Her stories drip with sarcasm, supernatural impossibility, and contain enough adventure and suspense to leave you at the edge of your seat all the way through.

Take a step--or leap--into her well-established world of the Guardians to meet the characters who gave life to a paranormal empire.

Im on a shit roll with books this week.

The main focus of these FOUR books is banter and fucking every literal thing that crosses her path.

This book is buffy if she was an absolute hoe (not a slut shamer but Jesus Christ that girl would fuck the wall if it stood still and looked at her for a hot second) with 1000x worse one liners.

The author concentrated way too much on “witty” (not very witty) banter and seventeen million different nicknames for these characters than on plot.

Cash is called a minimum of six different nicknames in three pages at one point.

MAJOR plot points were glossed over.
Massive turning points just ignored.
Character development was absolutely shite.

Nothing is ever really explained. There are ALOT of unanswered questions.

This being a four book series was a money grab. If this was properly edited it would AT A PUSH be two books long.

The actual plot is thin. A huge amount of the storyline is buried under “what the fuck am I reading” dialogue.

The inner monologues of characters are TOO LONG. Often there are three or four pages between the response to a question or a comment. UNNECESSARY.

Honestly these books were a waste of my time and I would not recommend them to anyone.
