Theo Kramer has spent most of his freshman year at Seabreeze State struggling to be the school’s biggest late nights trying to hook up with down low frat boys at keg parties, even later mornings skipping classes, but now he’s back on literally running around the campus intramural track to get his old mojo back and start fresh, one stumbling, hungover step at a time. When he literally runs into a long, lean, track star machine, Theo can’t help but feel his heart race, and not just from getting back in shape!
Henry Chambers has just been dropped from the track team, for hitting on the coach’s son, no less. Disgraced, disgusted with himself, and downtrodden, he seeks solace by running around the only track he’s allowed on these the intramural one bordering the freshman dorms. When a big lug stumbles into him one morning, smelling like a keg but looking like sex on legs, Henry can’t resist the former running back’s charms, or the offer to run with him for the rest of the semester.
But will their newfound attraction buy the happily ever after both boys have been chasing since heading to college? Or is it just another mirage on the hot, dusty track ahead, always out of reach?

Theo and Henry had a meet cute on the running track with Theo hungover and Henry depressed from getting kicked off the track team. Instant attraction. In this sweet, little novella, Theo and Henry have their first date, relationship and official boyfriend. I received a copy of this through BookSprout and this is my voluntary opinion.
The college boys are at it again, this time it's all happening on the track (and maybe in the changing rooms too!)
Theo has, to this point, spent his Freshman year at Seabreeze, trying to live up to the reputation of a Freshman: late nights, drunken parties, somewhat annoying roommate, late mornings and skipped classes. But then something changes and he decides he wants to get his old self, the High School athlete back, he wants that feeling, that fitness so he takes to the track for some early morning runs.
Henry was on the Seabreeze track team but after the coach learned that his son and Henry had something going on some subtle threats had him dropped. Determined to keep up his track skills he finds solace on the one track he can use and makes good use of it for morning runs. He likes to push himself, doesn't really mind being there alone, in fact when he runs into Theo he is initially annoyed, someone else is in the one space he can use.
Then Theo makes an offer, and since to Henry he looks like sex on legs, with the smell of alcohol which will soon become a things of the past, Henry accepts. They are going to have early morning runs together for the rest of the semester. As they do that we begin to learn more about them, understand their characters and see their back stories revealed which leads them to get closer to one another and closer to some important, life-changing truths.
Sexy, funny, exhausting if you try to keep up with their speed and distance, this is classic Alex Winters, a wonderful addition to the series, fresh, clever and with another cute ending to melt your heart.

Running changed his outlook Theo woke up once again hung over, his roommate complaining about the noise he makes so decides today is the day he’s gonna put his running shoes on and get back on the track. And this is where he meets Henry. Henry has got his own issues he used to be on Cross country running team for Seabreeze College but when he had an interaction with the of the coaches son, he got thrown off the team. But he can’t stop running so he still goes to the track and this is where he meets Theo. I really liked the way this book started the friendship for meeting up but they couldn’t hide the attraction between them. This book is really about the connection and how they grow together and enjoyable Read.

'It was bad enough the sweaty Neanderthal had stumbled onto the track just when Henry was finally getting his groove back, shuffling along in his cheap running shoes and loping to and fro like some sexy Sasquatch, feathery brown curls stuck to his damp forehead and broad shoulders practically bare through his own wet T-shirt contest. But now he’d drifted from the very edge of the track to squat in the middle.'
This was a quick romance. Henry and Theo didn't quite have a meet-cute as they seemed to annoy each other, but the chemistry was there and I liked the banter between them that became flirty. They were cute together once they got to talking. 3 stars
This is a cute and charming romance. Theo thought that when he went to college that he could be himself and find a boyfriend. He started going to parties every night hoping to find someone and it wasn't panning out. So he decides to start fresh and concentrate on getting back in shape and not worry about finding someone. Henry like Theo thought he could be who he really is now that he was in college. He gets kicked off the running team when he hits on the coach's son. So now he runs every morning to let go of everything. Theo meet Henry running and they start out as friends but both know they want more. I really enjoyed this book.
Another delightful book in the Beachside Bromance series by Alex Winters. The story focuses on Theo Kramer and Henry Chambers, both freshmen at Seabreeze State college. They have a memorable meeting while running on the intramural track. Both are exploring their sexuality, yet wary to trust enough to begin a committed relationship. Winters is definitely a writer you will want to check out if you do not already know his work. He is an excellent writer. 3 chili peppers.

This is another sweet and steamy addition to the series and I loved seeing Henry and Theo find their way together. They're both suffering rough situations so when they bump into each other on the track, their love of running really opens the door for them. These two definitely had hot chemistry but they're both looking for something real and meaningful. I was rooting hard for them and was thrilled that the jock and the athlete could begin a fab relationship together. Good fun!
At a point in both of their lives where things are not going as either of them would wish that it was. Theo is trying to get back on the straight and narrow after too much partying and screwing up. Henry is down after being kicked off the track team. The attraction is there and so is the opportunity to get themselves together while they get together. They are the beginning of better for one another.

Theo drank a lot and tried hooking up with frat boys and skipping classes so he decides to start running on the intramural track and start doing better. Henry got cut from the track team after hitting on the coach’s son but is allowed to run on the track. One morning Theo runs into Henry and they start running together and talking.

Another lovely read from Alex that is both sweet and steamy, as we follow Theo and Henry who are freshmen at Seabreeze State college. Plenty of feelings as they explore their sexuality, and even though wary learn to trust each other to begin a relationship. Thoroughly enjoyable.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I liked how their relationship started on the track and how Theo let the coach's son know what he thought of the stunt pulled on Henry. I liked that they talked before getting into anything.
I appreciated the character development and details of the story. I also was drawn in to the drama that grew between the characters. Great stories. Too bad they were so short, I was hungry for more.
enjoyed read this book I couldn’t put it down turning the pages. I thought the story was interesting and was well written that kept you reading. I can’t wait to read from Alex Winters.
