Nice Girls Don't Kiss Their Stepbrother is another brilliant story written by K. Webster. It's a short novella set at christmas time and I absolutely loved it from start to finish.

Clara's stepbrother Eric arrives back in town after he has been gone for years. He worked in the finance sector and after a client screwed him over he decided to return home and regroup. He doesn't go to his parents house but shows up at Clara's door. At first he doesn't want to tell why he left. But they make a deal, he needs to tell why he left and she will keep his secret, and he has to go with her to the Christmas extravaganza. They shake on it and suddenly they live together.

I love how cute they are together. They are bubbly, funny and at first almost have an innocent vibe around them. But when their filthy thoughts about the other one appear on page we quickly find out our cuties aren't innocent at all. They are obsessed and consumed with each other. And the second they kiss they know their story gets catapulted forwards and neither can do anything about it at all. All they know is that they need to keep it a secret for their parents sake. 

I love how they give in. And I love Eric's filthy mouth. I love their desperation for each other. But I also love the kindness they show each other. Frosty, the dog they adopt, is a bright ball of fur on page and I loved every scene he was in.

If you want to read a sweet and filthy Christmas novella then definitely pick this beauty up! It is worth every minute you need to read this stunning book! And I am convinced you'll fall just as hard for them as I did.

It was a cute, short read.

Clara is in the thralls of decorating for her favorite holiday when she gets an unexpected visitor, her absentee stepbrother.

Eric was more than my stepbrother. He was my friend. But then he went off to college, and after that, he became this big-time finance guy amassing a fortune. All he had to do was sell his soul and turn his back on his family.

Eric is in trouble and he knows the one person who can soothe him is the stepsister he’s been avoiding for years. Problem is, both have more than just familial feelings for each other.

This can’t happen. I jerk away from her and bolt like my ass is no fire. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Kissing Clara is wrong. And yet, despite the horrible mistake, it’ll go down as the sweetest kiss I’ve ever had in my entire damn life.

Lots of sex, immediately followed by guilt, more sex, by more guilt, breeding kink unlocked, naughty and unsanitary things involving chocolate, public performances, Barbie & Ken kissing, drunken confessions, consequences, and an HEA.

Because despite what Eric thinks, it’s not a phase. It means something—everything to me. I’ve always been in love with my stepbrother. Now that we’ve had sex, it’s only made me love him that much more.

SEX: First time is at 55% with no condoms. Yay! The sex was decent and I was happy for that! You know how I feel about sex.

GUILT: They do repeat the whole “we shouldn’t be doing this” thing a lot, but I suppose that’s to be expected. Since it’s such a short fic, it didn’t grate my nerves too badly.

ISSUE: The only thing that pissed me off was he acted like a jackass at the end and the second he said “I’m sorry”, she just forgave him. Girlfriend… that man needed to do a lot more groveling before you just give up the goods!

Overall, I enjoyed it.

I love a good holiday novella and this one was fun. Naught and nice and and definitely forbidden.

In Nice Girls Don't Kiss Their Stepbrother, Eric shows up on the doorstep of his stepsister after a major faux pas at his job. Clara meanwhile is all cheer and loves the holidays, but is kinda feeling lonely after her BFF is unable to make it to the small town holiday festivities. Thank goodness Eric shows up because these two have always had fun with one another.

This was definitely cute, but we get the forbidden aspect because these two shouldn't be together, but because they feel such an attraction and always have, they gotta say "f*ck it" and just give in. And give in they do once they get snowed in for a few days.

If you like holiday novellas that have some fun holiday moments along with a major side of taboo that is brought up throughout and then with their parents, then you'll probably be entertained with this one. It wasn't my favorite, but I liked the cast of characters and the little world it is set in. Still had a good time with it and liked that they were both always pining for one another.

This was a quick fun holiday taboo romance.

When Eric shows up on Clara's door unexpectedly needing a place to stay Clar is quite thankful to have her brother back after years of not seeing him.

Eric, down on his luck tags along with Clara. She loves Christmas. These two reconnect through baking, movies and other festive things.

“Thank you for letting me crash land here, sass. When my world shattered, all I could think about was getting back to you. Somehow, I knew you’d be able to fix it and you’re doing just that.”

These two have such chemistry. Both feel things for each other but don't want to give in…. Until they can't anymore.

They were so hot together.

This was sweet, spicy and fun.

“It’s what I want. Clara. A family with her. Love and sex and companionship. Not with any woman. Her. It’s always been her.”

I also loved seeing other characters from the Taboo Streets Series. That was so fun.

Straight off, we get to see that Clara and Eric have a connection, their friendship is deep but the attraction soon becomes too much and they give in.

Cue some hot smexy times followed by the angsty times when it seems things aren't going their way they'd hoped!!

I love that K. Webster wrote a Christmas novella. Nice Girls don’t kiss their Stepbrother. It's light, fun, but still has that forbidden edge that I love that only K. Webster can deliver. And it’s only 129 pages.

It was one of those stories where the two characters knew, going in, that it was so wrong, but it felt so right—so they went ahead anyway! Oh yeah, they did, and I enjoyed every moment, including a wicked whipped cream scene that you’ll have to read for yourself.

A cute, quick read. I felt like there wasn't really any tension as far as the forbidden relationship, it seemed like it was more in their own heads than an actual issue with anyone in their circle. But I still enjoyed the read, and would love more from this little world.

Christmas is Clara’s favorite holiday and when her step-brother, Eric, returns home after being away for years, they seem to make the perfect pair, but their closeness may change the family festivities.

“It’s always been her.”

Narrated in dual POV, connection between Clara and Eric is immediately apparent with their subtle glances until it builds into palatable sexual tension. Despite knowing the hurt it may cause their family, they cannot deny the bond they have.

Clara and Eric are very cute when baking and cooking together. I also liked how Eric was able to rebound. In this novella, the pace is quick and rich in warm holiday feels.

I thought this book was wonderful. The long-term longing and buried feelings made a rich and potent mixture that flowed like honey throughout the book. Clara and Eric really had my heart aching for them as they struggled with their desires and the worry over other people's reaction to their blooming relationship. There is a delicious blend of sweetness and spice that I thought showcased just how perfect and meant-to-be this couple was meant-to-be.

Webster never fails to deliver a short, instalust, instalove story with nice characters and festive sexiness.

The story is told in dual POV, Clara and Eric are two sweet and kind characters and their dynamic is so in tune with the Christmas vibe, the baking added an extra special flavour to this delicious very sweet treat. Go ahead and indulge🤭🎄

The writing felt juvenile. Definitely not what I’m used to from K. Webster. For a 170 page novella it was cute 🤷🏽‍♀️. But, I think I will stick to reading her dark romances, because this just wasn’t it.

Mi humilde opinión:

Romance prohibido, hermanastros, crush secreto, proximidad forzada, atrapados por una tormenta de nieve, pueblo pequeño.

Agradecí que las cosas no se apresuraran entre Clara y Eric, había historia pasada entre ellos basada en la complicidad y amistad, y que se contuvieran por sentirse fuertemente atraídos le dio una quemadura lenta que disfrute. Las cosas se ponen ardientes cuando ceden a la pasión y sus mas secretas fantasías se hacen realidad, entre masajes y besos apasionados que los llevan a no poder sacarse las manos de encima. Pero es mas que lujuria, ellos se han amado desde hace años pero saben que no pueden estar juntos y la culpa comienza a carcomerlos.

Me gusto que la historia no fuera todo sobre sexo, tenia su lado de drama con la familia y angustia con los protagonistas cuando tienen que enfrentar las consecuencias de sus acciones. La verdad es Clara y Eric me caían bien, me gustaba la pasión y adoración que había entre ellos, y a pesar de lo prohibido, los estaba apoyando porque me transmitían el dolor de no poder estar juntos.

Eric era posesivo y adoraba a Clara, hacia cosas que eran para el desmayo. Pero el día de la fiesta se emborracho y cuando se “destapo la olla” como se dice y los padres se enteran, él la dejo sola y se fue a la casa de James!? Esto me resulto de cobarde. Le tomo un poco dejar de ser un idiota y hablar con Clara. Digamos que valió mucho la pena que lo persone rápido.

Ame toda la vibra navideña, que los dos hornearan juntos galletas, las decoraciones, el pueblo y sus amigos peculiares, la adopción inesperada de Frosty, sus momentos en el sillón con películas de Hallmark y el chocolate caliente que te hace sentir bien. La historia fue divertida, linda y tenia spicy del bueno.

No suelo leer mucho taboo porque los pocos que leí estuvieron bien pero no llegaron a gustarme. Pero este de K. Webster en navidad sonaba bien y la verdad me terminó gustando mucho la historia.

Nice Girl’s Don’t Kiss Their Stepbrother by K Webster is the fifth book in her Taboo Streets series. This time we have Moonlit Gables complex resident Clara in a taboo romance with Eric, her stepbrother. A steamy festive read about forbidden love, sneaking around and stolen kisses,
temptation and angst. Clara loves Christmas and this year it won’t only be Santa Claus coming to town! Will it be the most wonderful time of the year or will they ruin Christmas?

“Why of all people do I have to love the one person I’m not supposed to?”

Clara was young when their parents got together and Eric became her stepbrother. They were best of friends growing up but she knew she loved him more than a step sibling should. Eric had left home to concentrate on his career but it meant he lost contact with his family which he now regrets. He is ashamed and humiliated over the events that have made him return home. Luckily Clara lets him stay at her place but it is the catalyst for their romance.

Living under the same roof is proving hard because both of them have fought the attraction and connection between them for years. Clara knows it’s not a phase she’s going through now he’s back and events mean starts to wonder if he feels the same. All l the years of longing finally ignite under the mistletoe. Eric knows kissing her is wrong but it turns out he has always loved her.

It was fun seeing many of the characters from the previous books. I loved we got Derek and Riko’s wedding and laughed at Reid having to check up on the couple after a spicy incident. I thought James was great especially as he had always known the couple had been in love with each other. I am looking forward to his story with Linda, the single mum at the complex.

Eric and Clara both love baking but are they a recipe for disaster? What will happen when their relationship is revealed because he doesn’t want to lose his family again so will he fight for her or will the guilt he feels make him leave. A fun taboo tale for the holidays.
