Alexa Hart is desperate for an apartment. Fresh from a divorce and running out of time to find a decent place, she receives a mysterious invitation to live at Ravenwood House. Is this the answer to her prayers?
But the landlord, Sebastian Ravenwood, isn’t offering her sanctuary—he’s offering obsession, and once she moves in, she’ll never truly be free.
He's already been watching her. Waiting for her. Wanting her.
Sebastian Ravenwood is the ancient vampire whose name is whispered throughout the walls of Ravenwood House and across the city like a secret no one dares speak aloud. He's compelling, dark and mysterious. Alexa has only been with a handful of men in her life, but none of them had ever made her pulse skip just by walking into a room. Not even her ex-husband. From the moment Alexa met Sebastian Ravenwood, she felt it—that pull. The one that drags a moth straight into the fire.
The more she sees him, the more she's intrigued and the deeper she falls… and the more she realizes she's already caught. He's the most dangerously magnetic man she's ever met.
She doesn't know he has already chosen her. That she's already the object of his obsession and bloodlust. -- If you loved A Discovery of Witches, Dark Shadows and Interview with a Vampire, you'll love this fast-paced steamy Romantasy. This is book one in a complete four book series and ends on a cliffhanger.
I'm Jade Christy. I've been immersed in vampire and fantasy stories since I was young, and love the thrill of those worlds. I write Romantasy novels (and have written contemporary romance) books that spark your imagination and set your heart racing. Whether it’s a sexy vampire-paranormal story or a steamy billionaire love story, I craft tales where love always reigns supreme.
You’ll find passion, tenderness, and that undeniable spark that gives you butterflies. Favorite tropes are second chances, strangers to lovers, good vs evil, found families/fated mates and destiny. In my Romantasy stories, magic, danger, and love collide in unforgettable ways.
When I’m not weaving stories of love and adventure, I’m surrounded by my furry friends—my loyal canine companions who always inspire me. I’m also an avid traveler, exploring the world with my real-life hero, my husband, who never fails to fuel my belief in happily-ever-afters, and lived in Europe for 16 years.
Ready to escape into a world of love, adventure and mystery? Let’s dive in together. The adventure starts here.
“If you don't date him, I will. Don't make me duel you with bookmarks."
This was an amazing vampire romance! I picked this one up on a whim, I had no prior knowledge about it and it’s only just been released in September. At the end was when I realised it’s the start of a four book series… the cliffhanger made me want to scream!
Alexa Hart has just been through a divorce, the ink is dry and she’s got 7 days to find a new place to live. Owner of Hart & Page bookstore, she loves to be between the stacks and the pages of other wonderful lives. When she becomes desperate to find a new home, she sticks a quirky ad in her store window and the next day an offer is given of a new apartment that sounds too good to be true!
Ravenwood House reminded me of The Continental from the John Wick movies, but for vampires and other beings that go bump in the night. A handsome landlord, oddball neighbours and secrets that she’s desperate to unravel.
Sebastian Ravenwood is more than her new landlord, there’s more to him and she’s determined to find out what it is, a few charged encounters will help her figure him out, right?
This was a mix of cutesy and mysterious. It didn't feel like the story or characters had a ton of depth, but I also feel like that was intentional. It was well written and had enough hooks and side stories to keep my interest, however the soap opera vibe just wasn't for me. Don't let that deter you because that's strictly personal preference and I know a ton of other readers who would eat up and binge the whole series. I do want to see if Lucien ends up taking Alexa and what he might do to her! We shall see!.

Alexa has a divorce hangover and a ticking clock to find somewhere to live, so naturally she ends up in a creepy mansion with a sinfully attractive vampire. The setup feels like every red flag wrapped in silk sheets, but it works because Sebastian’s charm is that dangerous kind that feels like a dare. The story moves fast, sometimes a little too fast, but the tension between curiosity and common sense keeps it fun. The writing leans atmospheric without drowning in purple prose, which is rare for this genre. I did roll my eyes at a few overdramatic moments, but the pull between them is solid and the ending cliffhanger actually made me swear out loud.
Some good writing, but the pace is slower than molasses in January.
I liked the leads, and the burn. But holy guacamole, it went so slow that it got boring as hell. By the time I got to the actual heat and spice, I just didn't care.
Pacing is really important in a novel. I get that there's supposed to be this slow deal happening. But that only works if the story is full of interesting adventures and character development. Instead we got a super slow story line that rolled down every page with a drip drip drip that was kinda mind numbing.
Maybe I just missed the whole point of that sleepy delivery. It's definitely not my thing, despite its ocassional beauty.
When Alexa needs a place to stay, Sebastian offers her an apartment. As they get to know each other, their desire and passion bloom into a beautifully woven story. However, something else lurks in the shadows and culminates into an ending with more questions than answers. I could not put this book down and look forward to the next installment.

I have seriously enjoyed this book! I’ve not read this author before and only got the first book however I have now remedied that misstep immediately. Yes I will be going on to following Alexa’s and Sebastian’s story right away as I can not leave it where it is . I’m so glad this collection is complete a relief for certain!!! Definitely step into this book you won’t be leaving…..
Alexa & Sebastian This is a story about a woman needing a place to live after divorce. Sebastian offers her an apartment, as he is very interested in Alexa. This is a good Vampire Romance, that is a great start to a new series! I am waiting at the cliff for more. I Loved It!!! No Spoilers!! I Recommend!.

This story was OFF the charts FANTASTIC!!!. It was so moving, exciting, entertaining and just WOW!!. I love me a good vamp story and this definitely fits the bill, just WOW!! A must read for the vamp lover's out there🤗. Jade is a PHENOMENAL storyteller and writer☺️😚.
This book was a definite mood. Descriptive in a way that made it feel gothic. But not spicy at all and I just didnt feel the romance. We could have had more action tension between Sebastian and Lucien to add some interest to the story. I’m definitely not invested and have no desire to read the rest of the series.
What the heck did i just read. I honesty have no idea, it started out good but then it went down hill. I dont know how I feel about the whole thing with Lucian and then even with Sebastian. And what is it with authors making books short but then having cliff hanging leading to another short book. Put it all in one book.
I've never read anything by Jade Christy before, but I'm so glad I've found her! I have to read this series, and as much as I like Alexa, Sebastian is to die for! (Pun may or not be intended lol)
Fab slow burn vampire story with spice. She is a book store owner and he is an ancient vampire landlord. He entices her to rent an apartment in his beautiful old building. Not realising that she is the only human in a house of vampires.
It was just a little bit too slow moving. I know that this is the first of a four book series, but I’m not sure that there’s enough plot to stretch that far. I didn’t like the ending of this one. I’m not positive that I’ll continue reading.
This was a good story a very enjoyable read. Love all the characters. The book store wish I lived near one like this. Of course the vampires are great.
This is the first book in the series and it was very well done. I definitely enjoyed and recommend. I am looking forward to reading book two of this four book series.
Was getting ready to start the audiobook and was super excited, until I saw it was narrated by AI. I will now never read anything by this author. Disgusting
I opted for the audiobook version and it did not disappoint. This book was an addictive vampire romantasy with intense chemistry and a compelling storyline. The MMC brings that dark, obsessive energy, while the FMC holds her own as a strong and intelligent lead. The banter and side characters really stand out, adding depth and personality throughout. The narration, especially the British accent, made the listening experience even more immersive. Be warned: it ends on a cliffhanger that will have you reaching for book two immediately.
Perfect for fans of dark, obsessive vampire romance with strong character dynamics, sharp banter, and a generous dose of spice.
When I got offered to read this book, I couldn’t resist even though I had several to finish from Ms. Jade Christy other series. I just had to read it. Her vampiric books have really been worth reading and even this e-book’s spacing is so much improved than her first books. Still, all of her books are easy to read, and you get totally immersed in them. Plus, the characters are intriguing, including the vampires are all enigmas and the places make me want to visit even if probably horrible things will happen to me anyway. Can I just say I love all of Ms. Christy’s vampires including her newest vampire, Sebastian Ravenwood. He’s just extremely handsome and untouchable but loves with everything he has. Who doesn’t want that? Plus, he gives of himself by offering a room to Alexa. Maybe not the greatest place to stay yet is willing to help her. I am waiting to see exactly what Lucien is planning because of his creepy, stalkerish behavior, but luckily, Alexa can avoid him for now. I eagerly anticipate the next in the series because of the ambiguous ending of this story and can’t wait to read it!
I have read several series by Jade Christy and have always enjoyed them. This newest book, “Bloodlust For Apartment 7A”, though, didn’t grab me quite the same. Alexa is a young woman facing upheaval in her life thanks to a recent divorce and a need to find a new place to live. Sebastian, a vampire, has set his sights on her and offers her an apartment in his building, a secretive place that has, until Alexa’s arrival, only allowed vampires to reside within. I liked Alexa, and the scenes at her bookstore and with her employee/friend Jett were great. But I didn’t really feel like I knew Sebastian or his reasons for obsessing over Alexa. And when Alexa realizes what Sebastian is I felt she accepted it all too quickly. I’ll be continuing the series, but not with the usual anticipation I have for Christy’s work.

This book pulled me in right away with its mix of suspense and dark romance. Alexa is trying to rebuild her life after a failed marriage, pouring her heart into her beloved bookstore, Hart and Page, while desperately searching for a fresh start in a new apartment. Enter Sebastian—mysterious, broody, and lurking in the shadows. His obsession with Alexa is unsettling yet magnetic, and the way their paths collide had me flipping pages quickly. I really enjoyed the push and pull between them—the danger, the intensity, and the constant sense that something was just a little too dark to be safe, yet impossible to resist. The atmosphere was moody and gripping, perfect for a late-night read. My only small gripe is I wanted a bit more depth into Sebastian’s backstory, but overall, it was a wild and addictive ride.
Jade Christy never disappoints me with the way she weaves her stories with mystery and intrigue. This book is not any different. Alexa loses her marriage and her apartment. She is given a very short time to find another place to live. Sebastian is obsessed with her so he invites her to live in Robinwood House. This is the beginning of a tangled web of living among Vampires. She has others that are obsessed with her including apartment 7c but is is a very dark revengeful obsession.

This was a very interesting book. You have a vampire who is obsessed with a human and a human who falls for him. Alexa needs an apartment, and Sebastian has one available. She no idea who the other tenants are or what they are. When she finds out that Sebastian is a vampire, she doesn't get scared she is intrigued. That is when she finds out that the other tenants are vampires as well. This is going to be an interesting series.
Oh how I love a good Vampire Romance Story. This is the first book in this series. We find out how Alexa meets the sexy Vampire Sebastian and how he courts her. I totally devoured this story. It's very well written. All the characters are fantastic. It's suspenseful, intriguing, steamy and romantic. Jade does not disappoint. I enjoy reading her books very much. I highly recommend this book. It's going to be an exciting series.
I've come to really enjoy this author's books, this is my second book by this author. It has great characters, it keeps a good flow to the point I read it start to finish but being the first of the series I knew there would be a cliffhanger but that was unexpected! I really enjoy the fmc and I'm excited to start the next book and see what's to come!
This book pulled me in right away. The suspense and the intrigue kept me turning the pages. Alexa and Sebastian are electric together. Their want and longing for each other is palpable through the pages. The ending completely through me for a loop. I did not expect a cliffhanger and I can't wait to see what happens in the rest of the series.
This was a quick and fun read. The intrigue was intense from the beginning. I’m interested to see where this series goes and with that cliffhanger. Can’t wait for the next one. I received this as an ARC and am willingly leaving a review.
