Bellthorn Boys #2

Throne of Bellthorn

Rate this book
My eyes blink open to the bright room. Awareness prickles the back of my neck and my gaze darts from one point to the other, breath trapped inside when I recognize the place I was left.

He must have put me in a time machine because the cops shut away our home months ago. I clutch the sheets under me, a gasp of raw emotion makes its way out when I see mom and dad's wedding picture. After dad killed her, they found mom on this bed, eyes open and expression serene.

My uncle moves around the house, the sounds he makes are enough to make me shudder and squeeze my eyes shut. I need to escape.

I survived Bellthorn, didn't I? I'm stronger than I look. And it's time to show these fuckers how strong this Briarwick is.

*Throne of Bellthorn is the epic conclusion of Bellthorn Boys duet. It only gets darker from here.

Where is Sable? We all want to know. The boys are are going crazy without her. My heart feels for all of them. Soren the most. They are taking it hard. Besides that I have questions and theories that I need answered immediately. These boys are going loco and Sable is just trying to survive. I would like to say it was very disrespectful that I had to wait what seemed like a very long time to see my man Lex. There are so many things at play right now. So many moving pieces. There are too many secrets. There is a whole lot going on but nobody is talking to each other. And it’s stating to tick me off. I’m literally screaming at my kindle saying talk to each other. Uhh men! After all the mess we are finally getting somewhere, want to know why? We’re talking and we are sharing secrets. Things are starting to fall into place and make more sense. A theory of mine was indeed correct, well a few. Out of all the boys only one of them has common sense in my opinion and that’s Lex. Maybe I’m biased but that’s not the point. Well they kind of all have common sense but not Orion he is a bit deranged. These give men are down bad for Sable and Sable is down bad for them. She is theirs and they are hers. Don’t touch or mess with any of them because you may kick the bucket involuntarily. The last part of this book was wild. Everything fell into place as it should have. Thorne of Bellthorn had it all: mystery, betrayal, love, acceptance , all the things. This was the best wrap up for the duet. I love that the ones that mattered found their happiness.

Wow! Now let me start with the cliffy on book 1 was torture. I hated the thought of waiting months to see what was going to happen. Totally worth the wait. 👏👏👏 Aurelia and Amy did an amazing job on this duet. The world building was incredible. Books play like movies in my head and Bellthorn was beautiful, even though it was full of evil. I absolutely loved Sable's growth throughout. In book 2 she gains so much strength. I was completely impressed with her. The guys as usual were awesome. I felt so much pain in my heart for Soren. He suffered so much. He put so much of what happened onto his shoulders and made himself responsible. I loved how Sable handled it. And I was so glad to see him start to heal. The other guys were amazing. Orion was his crazy, impulsive self. Lex was the calm, intelligent one. Hadrian was the outcast that slowly made his way back in. Parker was and always will be completely obsessed with Sable. I loved how much nothing else mattered but her and her well-being. These guys may have treated her like a toy for a lot of book 1, but they treat her like an absolute queen in book 2. Gah. It was perfect. Thank you ladies for the amazing opportunity to ARC read both. ❤️❤️‍🔥

I received a complimentary copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧this was read as an ARC read. i'm just deeply behind on my reviews. i apologize ✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧

This part of the duet is definitely darker than Gates. I have so many feelings about it all. I never really knew which way things were going until all of the main character storylines came together again. It was definitely chaotic because there really was never more than 2 of the characters together at a time right up till Sable is back and everyone is everywhere.

Sable is honestly what is holding the group together now because without her, everything is turned upside down and the view isn’t 20/20. (there is so much more going on but i’m trying my best to not spoil anything) It’s more like someone with thick ass glasses and an astigmatism driving at night praying the high beams & LED lights don’t take you out.

Love the revenge plot. Love the very justified violence at the end. Sable at 200% is just amazing reading her transformation from the start of the duet until the epilogue in this part. I'm glad that Soren starts processing his trauma better. I’m just happy that everyone is just meshing way better than they were in Gates of Bellthorn. Everyone kinda changes for each other but for the better.

This is a continuation and you do need to read book one (Gates of Bellthorn) to follow along. Book one was more about getting to know the characters and building their relationship, this book is more gritty and deals more with everything that goes on behind the scenes at the school and with the 'Founding Families.' It's darker than book one was, and while there is still plenty of sexual content, it's more like background noise, though a couple of those scenes were somewhat pivotal moments for the characters. The characters are more traumatized in this book. Emotionally and physically. This has some gore/bloodshed. There are some secrets and some surprising revelations. Everything you thought you knew? Well, you may be wrong. There are so many incidents that keep you guessing what will happen. The book reads easily. It alternates POVs. There is subject matters that are possible triggers for some readers, so I suggest checking them if you are a sensitive reader. Goes without saying that this is intended for mature readers.

Düm🅱 boy pretzel

After the cliffhanger of part one I was eager to see what happened next and I can say it was worth the wait. I also definitely surprised along the way. This part is darker than the first.

First off we have Sable who was kidnapped and is not doing well. Though what happened here was really bad it ended with Sable finding her own way out...mostly.

We have Soren dealing with the fallout of what happened but seriously should have told the guys what happened. Instead he went down a really dark path that only one person saw enough to make him fess up.

This part brought us a web of lies and deception that just kept getting deeper. Remember that 5th family that just vanished? Yeah we find out the story behind that and its way crazier than I expected.

This book brings Sable into a power role that she fits into beautifully. These boys bow at her feet and will do a lot to show what she means to them. She definitely takes the throne.

That ending though....I definitely did not see it happening quite like that but it was freaking awesome.

Oh my god, this was such a well deserved ending to this duet! Seeing Sable's strength, and determinationto take control of her future( and the guys 🥵) showed she true is their Queen!! But poor Soren! I was so heartbroken for him, his part was so sad, but I'm happy Sable could see through the bullshit! 🖤

I love how the guys would do ANYTHING for them to be together, and protect their love. I loved all the little twists and turns of the story, there was two I really didn’t soo coming, and shocked me so much!

Any thing these two write together turns out amazing! 🖤

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

A wild conclusion to one of the most insane duets I've ever read - insane and amazing, that is!

The Bellthorn Boys duet was honestly crazy from start to finish. Book one had me absolutely reeling at its conclusion, and book two was nonstop the entire time. I laughed, I genuinely cried, and think the last few pages were just a fever dream of craziness that I just didn't want to end. I swear, when you put Aurelia and Amy together you get the most incredible nonsense, and I can't wait for their next adventure.

Seriously though... I have a book hangover already, and I just finished this like ten minutes ago...

This is the second and last book in the Bellthorn Boys duet. It was amazing!! I was so excited to see this book release!! I have been waiting for this book since reading the first book “Gates of Bellthorn.”
This FMC is sweet, hot and downright scary. She is such a complex person and an Amazon Queen. And these MMCs will be brought to their knees by her magnificence! They don’t stand a chance against her. And that’s just the way she likes it!
Thank you, Aurelia Knight and Amy Oliveira, for such a scintillating yet demented read. Such a satisfying ending to this duet. I enjoyed the story, the world and especially the characters!!

This is a continuation of Gates of Bellthorn and picks up right where we left off. We get to see the fall out of that cliffhanger of an ending to book 1.

The guys are not coping well with Sable being missing and doing everything within their power to find her, even if it means disturbing the peace of Bellthorn and their legacies of power.

How I’ve missed these 5 crazy boys. They will do absolutely anything for Sable and I’ve loved seeing how they’ve come since book 1.

Amy and Aurelia have written this together so well. There was so many times I was desperate to find out exactly what was happening. The plot twists were a ride for sure. I can’t wait to see what they come up with next.

Ask Questions

Oh man this picks up right after that cliffy! Nothing is the same anymore. Everything and everyone is affected. Sable and her guys have the fight of a lifetime to get to their HEA. This story has gotten so many loose ends getting tied up. The twists once revealed is like placing the right key in a lock at long last. You can't prepare yourself for this explosive ending. It will have you at the edge of your seat. This dark romance is true to its genre. Enjoy this duet it's worth every minute and every word!

Thank you to the authors for a copy of this book.

This was a crazy wrap up to a wild duology. I thought book one was dark but we just crank everything up to eleven for book two! Now Sable has been kidnapped, what will the founders do?? Needless to say, they don’t take it well.

This book is super dark, it’s got a lot of things that could be triggering so please check out the content warnings on this one. But like the first book, it’s got a whole bunch of spice (like the soaking tub scene?!?) and a lot of suspense but the big questions from book one get answered.

If you read the first book when it came out like me, I’m sure you were counting down the days for the second book to release. I found myself screaming get away from the uncle in the first book. What are you thinking. Gosh you boys are dumb. But happy our girl came out a queen at the end. She made them grovel; and became ruthless but also kept a kind heart when needed. This was set in a dark academic setting and if this is your vibe you need no further looking, at this to your tbr.

This is a 2 book series and can’t be read standalone. I’m excited for anyone that is going to start reading the first book and doesn’t have to wait for the second one to be released.

Also the plot twist in the book, I was thinking oh you’re clever right there. Family is forever, even if you don’t know it.

Reign in the princes to kings because they are about to do so much damage.

Amazing book! I could not put it down. I have been waiting for this book since I read the first one last year and ended in an amazing cliffhanger. Loved all the characters, I definitely cannot pick a favorite.I could not have guessed the ending!
Sad it’s the last book, will definitely reread the duo at some point.

Warning ‼️ potential spoilers!
Should read Gates of Bellthorn first.

Book 1 left me dying for the next part of this duet. Where is Sable? We’re all left wondering what is her creepy uncle going to do to her? Where tf are her guys?!

The book takes a sharp turn and a secret identity plot twist hits. It does NOT disappoint. Sable reunites with her boys and as always is an extremely Bada$$ babe. I love that she doesn’t just sit and take it, she chooses to fight and get what she wants. The ending was amazing and the plot just expanded the relationships with these characters.

I will say I’m sad we won’t get anymore from these characters, but I am grateful for this time with them.

Amy and Aurelia are always an amazing duo and make the most beautiful stories together.

ARC REVIEW

This book is amazing. It’s a roller coaster ride of emotions and sassy comments. I really love seeing how they grow and evolve through the book. It has the right pace to make it feel realistic and surprises you in ways that you didn’t expect to. An amazing ending to this duet and definitely worth reading!

This was one emotional wreck of a read. What Sable and Soren went through man it was hard to read and the most hardest one was Soren pov. But man I’m glad that they have their justice and Sable got her men. Every each one of them were as possessive and protective. And I’m just so happy that all of them got their happy ending this was just the perfect conclusion to their story.

Oh my godssss, y’all. What a ride. In preparation for this arc.. I re-read the first book and it was SO worth it. Book two in this duet is darker than the first and filled with lots of feels (but just as much spice). I loved this journey so much. I don’t want to spoil anything, but like I said… a wild ride. I’m fully obsessed with the turns this plot ended up taking and loved to see the character growth too. Cant say enough good things about this duet.

These guys had me in a chokehold for most of this book. They go through so much and still love each other through it all. Sable has suffered so much throughout her life, she deserves all the happiness her 5 guys bring her.
