A typical mafia book with an okay plot. (Possible spoilers ahead) The book does need some edits due to missing words or errors. Not a big deal for me, but it may be for others.

Both MCs were decent. H was likable. h was a tad annoying because she caved to her terrible mother so much (more about that later) She could have been a really great character, but it fell short.

The plot was simple enough- H’s parents were killed when he was 17. He was “fostered” by h’s parents. H felt grateful to them. H is now the head of the mafia.

Now h’s dad/mom are in serious debt. They have arranged for h to marry H. So….h’s character is confusing. With H, she has a backbone. She’s feisty.
With her mom- womp womp womp. She has NO backbone. Mom seriously controls every aspect of h’s life. I’d never advocate for violence against your parents, but for real- mom needed some hands on her. Yep there is no way I wouldn’t have gone off on her. 🤪🤪

There is an attraction between H and h from the beginning, but as with most mafia books, H keeps his distance. He’s standoff’ish. They do have smex about 25% in, though. 😂
Their biggest conflict is h thinks he’s trying to control her. Be prepared because she whines and cries about this throughout most of the book.

Naturally, after their first smex event, he pulls away from her. She finds out she’s pregnant and doesn’t tell him.
He’s so observant, he notices signs early and figures it out.
Then they find out it’s twins.

*sidenote* one thing I’ve noticed about this author and how they write a smex scene- the character’s always loses control or it snaps. It’s mentioned a lot; enough so that I really started to notice.

During all this, H has his people watching h’s parents. His major enemy (Adrian used to work for him) has been conspiring with h’s parents. Shocker :/s
It comes out that h’s mom is the main villain supplying the intel, but h’s dad is also involved. (I would say this is a major spoiler except you figure out they are the bad guys from chapter 1.)

h refused to believe H when he told her that her parents sold her out. This is the major reason I rated this 2 stars. This part of the plot stupefied me. It made no sense why she wouldn’t believe this. She absolutely knew her parents were garbage.

H wants to put MORE guards on h because he’s worried about her safety. h keeps whining about it……….so ofc she finally gets kidnapped. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ THEN, the first thing she tells the bad guy- she’s pregnant. (Ugh she’s TSTL) and bad guy is really happy about this news. She finally knows her parents are bad. (This woman annoyed me so much)

H saves her in the nick of time. 🙃

So the bad parents comeuppance- umm, barely anything. MCs decided to let them fall into financial ruin. Then after they had the twins, h decided she wanted her parents involved in their life. wtf? These people didn’t care if you were murdered, but sure….let us all be one happy family. HARD EYEROLL
They have a wedding a year after the babies are born. I guess h’s dad was trying to be better, but mom was still a POS.


All in all, it was an okay book. Some parts did frustrate me.

This is Leo and Sienna's story. First - this is extremely mafia lite so think of it as a wonderful contemporary romance. Sienna is basically thought of a business investment. Neither parent sees her or cares about what she wants or even likes. Leo is willing to marry her to repay a debt. The story draws the reader in and makes you feel for Sienna. Leo really sees her and is interested in her as a person. The parents are emotionally abusive and makes you wonder however she survived to adulthood and didn't become a hateful witch. Sienna has been told what to do most of her life by her parents. Now she is becoming engaged, to save her father's business, Leo Denisov. It is supposed to be a fake marriage, in name only. But the more time they spend together, Leo backing her up against her mother, who runs roughshod over her. Leo thought he was getting isolated socialite, but Sienna is intelligent and is determined not to be left in the dark.

As the pair becoming closer, there are those at work determined to undermine that. The pair have a target one them, Leo is determined to keep her safe at all cost, even more so when she becomes pregnant.

Alliances become more than expected

Arranged with Twins is another entertaining book by Bella King. The story is about Sienna Cooper and Leo Denisov in an arranged/forced marriage and Russian Mafia romance. They had known each other when they were younger but are now about to be married for the sake of an alliance between the families. The thing is that Sienna really just wants to live her life the way she wants. Leo is accepting of the marriage and is actually interested in Sienna and making her fall for him. The story kind of starts a bit slow for me but kicked it into high gear part way through and kept that pace to the end. It was an entertaining book.

loved it

I was uncertain when I selected this one to read. So glad I chose it. I was impressed with the writing, characters, and the storytelling pace. Highly recommend this book. There is family betrayal, prior business associates attack, a kidnapping, a woman who has no clue how to be a Mom and a Dad who keeps making bad business decisions. A business move to seal an association with a wedding takes a turn into true love. It’s a very good read with just enough action, love and happiness. Enjoy! HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger.

Ok read with some plot wholes, in my opinion. The biggest being not understanding why Sienna's parents helped Leo after his parents died because her parents were not good people. They were selfish and only looking out for themselves. Leo and Sienna had ok chemistry and their banter didn't do it for me. Spice was not bad but the hot and cold got really old, really quick. I did love the active role Leo took once he found out Sienna was pregnant though. Love me a good pregnancy trope!

Sienna on the outside is the well-bred, poised and gentle wife to be but Leo figures out she's got a little more spice that he was told. He's not disappointed and romance is flirty and flirty. I love it when the characters have such amazing chemistry. It was a page turner so be prepared to stay up longer than you intended.

This story is driven with action-packed drama between Leo and Sienna along with their connection that is off the chains intense and kept me glued to the pages from start to finish. It is a well written story and has compelling characters that I couldn't help connecting with.

Mmm I did enjoy this book but again a little predictable. Leo not telling Sienna everything. Sienna not believing her parents were bad apples. Why is it the Mafia books always have the guys giving up everything because of love. If you're born to that life why give it up your partner should understand. I do recommend this book!

Good book

Loved this mafia romance. The arranged marriage between Leo and sienna didn't go as her parents intended but there's a instant connection between them. They fall in love and then her dads cronies start causing trouble. Loved the ending.
